  • Hahahahaha! Cool huh? :P I can give you up to 3 free copies of any 5th gen pokemon you want from my thread when you get your copy of B/W. ;) I'm guessing when the English version comes out I won't be needing anything. -_-
A happy writing I just made:
When we're together, I can't help but smile.
When I hear your voice, and your embrace my heart flutters.
Every week, the time we spend together is what I treasure the most.
I can't help but look forward to day we get spend countless hours together.
Letting our imagination run wild. Not caring who is around or who is watching.
Just enjoying being with each other. And that's all that will ever matter.
Bubbly by Colbie Catilat (however you spell her name), I'm Your's by Jason Mraz, Haven't Met you Yet by Micheal Buble. I'm into things like that too ^_^
man, the longer you put off playing it, the longer you're missing out--it's addicting n_n

I mean, I could not put it down for like 12 hours because it was so much fun :s
Heh, just vm when you want them (after you've posted ofc :P) and I'll be glad to trade them to you :)

In that case, I must insist with an alcoholic beverage to calm your nerves, specially wine or brandy. Something that slows down your heart rate :P
Either that or pray reaaaal hard they like you right away. Dressing up nicely is always a plus!
But I'll cross my fingers for you :)
So maybe "honesty is the best formula" as some like to say; but that really only works for people who can afford it. Honesty is quite a hotly contested commodity. My advice, if it is worth anything, is just sticking to yourself where it's harmless but well, a bit of sugar coating never killed anyone, specially in touchy subjects :P Of course that's something you can only go and notice right in the middle of the interview :S

Well, only the moment can tell you whether you screwed up or not. Sadly, the noticing part ALWAYS comes after screwing up. Ever been in a room where somebody makes a somewhat tasteless mom joke just to be told that the girl right next to him/her lost his/hers in a tragic way recently? And other people are just smirking stupidly because they have no idea what to do? That's when you'd know your whole interview has gone fubar :(
It does if you just buy personal wine bottles :D

Well, if it helps, moulding and changing a personality to fit in in a place is what humans do... every day :P We could go over the theory behind that statement but meeeh :P Point is, just think of them like really old people who can't bear to even begin to think that they just might hear something they do not like. So in interviews or social situations with older unknown peeps it is always good to try and read people first before going all out and say: So yeah, I'm all about legalizing abortion just to five seconds later notice one guy has a big ass cross as a pin in his jacket ;)
I've heard a glass of wine helps a lot of people with their nerves :) As long as you don't finish the whole bottle that is. When I didn't have a decent control of my public self I used to do that and perhaps the whole thing was a placebo effect but hey, it helped me greatly!
I firmly believe honesty is quite overrated, not in a white-collar-everthing-goes-for-money-or-whatever kind of way, but mostly because I have issues with the term :P But anyhow, being too straight forward can also be a pain in the ass ;)

I, of course, have no idea what your religious, social or political beliefs are nor are they important to me, but let's say you're a very open minded steering towards left kind of person. Don't you think such thing could come backfire if you are interviewed by a Tea Party member? Or the other way around, just to make a point :P

But yeah *pats softly in the back* You can do it!!! ^_^
The issue is that I have to think of pokemon for single and double battles... Some of the single battle ones I have in mind are Hippowdon, Metagross/Togekiss/Skarmory, Kingdra/Garchomp/Salamence, Snorlax, Scizor, Jolteon/Starmie and Wobbuffet. For doubles I was thinking on a stall team or maybe a rain one... I've been reading VGC 2009 for more info, since the only banned pokemon for my tournament are the legendaries.
Hi, for my team suggestions what do you suggest: Creating a thread or by private messages to some people? :P I'm just thinking which ones should I use, is kinda hard for me tho since I haven't battle since october. D:
I see. Not necessarily though, it really all depends on your level of rhethoric :P For example, one of the ways to go around the question you are unsure of or don't know the proper answer is to start answering by touching a related subject, then make a slight connection to the subject you are supposed to answer while giving no definitive answer and then finishing with a third related subject to the other two and end it in a linking conclussion or summary with a mild emphasis on your supposedly main subject. It's quite an art :P Not sure those would be the correct translations of the terms to english though.

Your plan is way more solid though ^_^but it's always good to have a back up plan just so you don't panic and the awkward pause makes its appearance :P

Heh, in that case, you better prepare and don't mix up colleges during the interview :D
What stuff do you want from my thread? I'd probably take rare ones and stuff I can't get for myself. :)
Well, uncertainty is one thing that will always scare people. Best way to go around it is to try and carefully dodge the question and at least you won't have to pause :P Other than being confident you won't get caught in that situation :)
    Best of luck with those!
Also, what exactly do they ask you in those interviews? Pharmacy related stuff or just regular personal details?
roflawl. You don't know my family irl. omfg. Shoot me now xD!
I'd tell you some of the stories of my family, but lawl. I'd prolly kill everyone with them >.>
