  • Okay, so does the frame advance while I'm finding the hexadecimals? And does the PID thing decide what pokemon will come up? Those were the main things confusing me, but I'll probably have questions as I go along :/

    Alright, so is this the order I should be doing this? After turning C-gear on to hit seed, use the Upper and lower seed codes, convert to hexadecimal, advance frames, and then wait however long for my desired PID(If that is what it is called) to come up? Then battle and capture and if I hit it correctly I should have the desired Monmen right?
    Are there supposed to be letters or something? There is decimal or hexadecimal. I choose hexadecimal right? I put that one number in and it came out 0... So after I have these numbers I can find natures and stuff? I have to use these codes when I'm working on hitting the seed right? Lol sorry for all the questions.
    Okay, and the money amount is changed correct? How exactly do you change the stuff into hex decimal? I think the number was something like 12195...
    Okay, and I should only need these codes right? How would I use these seeds to get a nature etc.. anyway?
    Okay, this is the codes for both correct? I'm gonna practice that a little before going for my seed.
    Okay, so how would I find what the upper and lower seed are? I haven't experimented with my AR and black since Dec. so does Kaphotics or Bond have a newer code?
    Okay ^-^ And for captures can natures be chosen or is it random? My seed frame is 35, so the starting point is 3, so what process should I use to advance? Btw thanks for helping me figure this out.
    Haha. Okay so -95 in calibration on timer? Lol that is weird. Okay, I understand some things but there are a few things I'm confused on. And my AR freezes it up, is it possible to get it without it? I'm going for a monmen. So first question, when using the timer to hit a seed the first one means I need to click on the game, and the second is when I need to say yes to the C-gear in game?

    Edit: And yes I am using a cart.
    I decided I wanted to try C-gear seeds. I'm not sure if I have an odd or even delay but my target is 1570.. I'm just wondering if you could help me out, or if you could point me in the direction of someone who can :)

    Lower seed before sweet scenting on bike: 08ED9360
    Upper seed before sweet scenting on bike: 2855E8EF
    Frame: 80
    Predicted PID: DA22196 (frame 83)
    Predicted nature: Bashful, but synchronizer should work
    Actual PID: 8DA22196
    Actual nature: Jolly (same as synchronizer)
    It also has Rivalry (what should be ability 0) if it matters.
    No problem. I can send you the info on the second Kibago if you want. Its PID doesn't match up with any of the close-by results in PIDRNG.
    Yes, I looked at the PID directly. If you want it (in decimal), here it is: 1680913931. I already spoke to OmegaDonut about it on the IRC, as well as the odd ability with my Kibago. Apparently a bunch of my other mons have abilities that don't match up with their PIDs.
    i need to know which result he got in-game. if it's the one predicted by pidrng now, it's still using the old formula from OD. if it's the PID from the other xor possibility, then that agrees with my findings from the other night, and something may be wrong with the formula itself.

    for some reason, it seems like pidrng just doesn't like that one frame, because all else seems to work fine for prediction...
    Huh. . . that would explain my odd results. I got the nature, but I can't seem to find its PID anywhere near the frame I was at. And Kibago apparently can't get Mold Breaker. I have one with ability 0 and ability 1, and both have Rivalry.
    Oh, I didn't log off. I had to go catch my cat. He ran outside when it's practically a blizzard out there.

    Hey, I've been trying for like 3 days now to get this Kibago. Could I give you my PID RNG seeds and desired frames and could you manually calculate if the synchronizer will work?
    I changed calibrated to 499, I forgot to change it when I first downloaded, and my target delay is 649. I'll try again soon, and I'll let you know the result. Thanks :)
    I've tried 3 times- 2 without AR- and each time it says I don't have a match. The time is right - Jan 24 2011 6:08:15 - and I'm hitting pretty close to the timer.
    i might have to stope here, for now, since i have to do a project and i've really lost track of the time so i have about 30 minutes to do this project, so, can i pick them up after im done?
