I'm confused about the wanted/actual part of the emerald calculator. Why are there two sets, and how exactly do they work? If you can get on irc, I'll be in #frlg (irc.synirc.net, same as #smogon) at 5:30 pm pacific standard (gmt -8) so we can communicate more easily. I won't be able to use the program until that time so I won't be able to make more suggestions right now.
That's good to know, but once I fixed that problem for HGSS Pikatimer has been working just fine for me.

Yeah, please link me to it. I assume you mean to include a pretimer since you can't restart the emulator and start a timer at the same time? If so, that's a fantastic idea.

And no, not only PID values and trash bytes. There are hex values shown in Pokesav as to location caught, breeding, pokeball (for HGSS), met in place and other things.
You mean like the PID and trash bytes? Yes to the PID and I think so to the bytes.
But does PokeGen checks/shows hex values?

Btw, do you know anything about Pokesav screwing up .pkm files when extracting? If this is happening, do you know any other program that I might use? I usually use .pkm files to hack check and to backup what I have... If I don't have that for 5th gen, it's gonna be messy...
Yeah, it's nice to know the work on RNG Reporter is doing well. And if it's only research, most of the programming must be done already, which is great! I wouldn't know what to do if it wasn't for your timer and RNG Reporter.

Well it worked perfectly anyways. I hit my delay for my Snorlax. I'm about to do his IV's. Thanks alot on the new timer! Without it I would never be able to RNG high delays again xD

Haha... scratch that, the beeps are still all over the place, the visual mode works fine though. I would definitely recommend you ask more people to test it though, as it may just be my laptop. I really appreciate the updated timer though.
Hey Toast I tried using that timer you gave me on FC. It worked. but using it doesn't really work. It's really easy hitting stuff. But it's not easy hitting the delay you want. I went for a delay of 659. My first shot hit 621. So I put that into the hit delay and updated it. Then my calibrated delay went up aswell for some strange apparent reason. I then did it again and the delay got even lower. It reached around 597.
Updated it again and now it's just not hitting anything. Why is it going backwards and not towards my delay? Is the delay too small? Or is the timer needing some tweaking?
