Are you able to evolve it into Gloom and teach it Drain Punch? If not, I can trade with you in Gen IV and then I'll give you Maractus in Gen V for a foddermon XD

This is a thought, I dunno if you have 2 DSes, but if not, we could always do a gen IV wifi trade for the egg. If you trade it to another game, when it inherits the new OT, it won't hatch shiny XD

I suppose another option, if you know how to do this non-shiny, is to catch a wild oddish or gloom?

I don't know ANYTHING about Gen IV RNG so I don't know if that's easier or not XD
It's apparently an egg move in Gen V, but I realized that Bellossom learns leaf blade from the relearner in Gen V, so drain punch is all that matters :)
