    pikatimer is the same idea. you put in the delay you got and it updates your timers. and that's what i've been doing. and just to be clear, you hit soft reset when the timer hits 0.00 right? not like 0.67?

    hey, it wont connect to Heart gold no matter what i do. i get a constant "communication was disrupted" error even though i have full signal strength.

    Do you have the ability to change the files to .PKM files?
    and im guessing you dont have a black/white cartridge at all... because that one works perfectly fine. its just the gen 4 game..

    yeah that's the screen i use. so when i just use the standard timer at 579 delay, i hit around 613 or 615 quite a bit. but when i put that as my updated delay, i can't hit anything. i need to press continue right when the timer hits zero right?
    does it matter what method i use when i generate the shiny egg? it's been on 1 this whole time. do i need to put it to k or j?
    ok, i've been doing all that. when i generate my seed time, i do +/- 20, but whenever i type in the elm calls, it says seed can't be found, meaning i wasn't even within 20 up or down of my target time. when i was trying to capture a perfect pokemon, i was atleast getting within the 20. any idea why? also, do i need to be finding times that are close to my delay already? so in the calibration phase, i found my delay was around 504 or so. can i still hit delay of 616? does that all just depend on how long i wait before i enter the game world? also, do i need parents with good IVs to get a perfect pokemon?

    hey man. thanks so much for responding! i've been trying to hit my seed for shiny breeding and can't get anywhere close (within +/- 20 delay). i'm using the pikatimer. so in the pikatimer, what is the calibrated delay? i'm putting 480 in for it. and the delay i'm trying to hit for this one is 616. so i'm using that as my wanted delay. i'm using 50 seconds and a calibrated second of 14. so i guess one of my questions is, when i create the timer using those settings, it makes my second timer around 15 to 16 seconds. so when i soft reset, do i just wait a few seconds til it hits 0 before i enter the game? thanks for helping
    Jirachi's moveset is currently:

    Reflect
    U-Turn

    I have no idea why that is the moveset. I have plenty of shards and heart scales though so I can tutor and relearn any moves you'd like.
    Sadly, I don't have much to offer. I don't know how to RNG yet, and I have no AR.

    Because of some unfortunate circumstances I will not be returning till tomorrow(Tuesday) afternoon, apologies to everyone(I'm currently posting from my phone so I will be occasionally checkin the forums).
    gender and IV's dont matter. Naive chimchar if possibe and relaxed marshtomp if possible. level really dont matter at all, i enjoy ev training and leveling. I dont have a 4th gen game, i can get on though from my friend by tonight or tomorrow.
