I'm RNGing for this: Tympole (becomes a Seismitoad, OMG doesn't even learn Seismic Toss!!) 31/30/30/31/31/31 Modest Swift Swim. For the set listed on Smogon. The nearest Modest Ability 0 frame is 197 and my SSF is about 84 (I'm RNGing once again in Pinwheel Forest so the NPCs advance the frames a lot) so I have to chatter 114 times. Damn that's a lot (and boring). I can't believe some people actually chatter over 800 times for certain shinies!! Oh well... maybe I'll become just as good one day too ^^

Hahaha, the 30 second rule is just as annoying as Sturdy. Like seriously, what was game freak thinking, giving a cave pokemon the ability sturdy. You want to get through caves as fast as you can but half of the battles couldn't end in less than 2 turns >.<

Because actually "she" loves Volcarona just like me. And if you love Vulcarona you probably used that fiery bug against the E4 and if you do you know Sawk. Now Sawk is a pokemon that knows Stone Edge and can't be OHKOed because of his ability Sturdy. Now you understand why we're upset with Sawk...

Actually it isn't better to get exact IVs. AR gives perfect IVs but it just won't work. I even used level 18 pokemon to calibrate my parameters and it worked fine.
We'll be sweet scenting inside the cave at Victory Road (NPC free) anywayz and the pokes there are about level 40 and that's definitely high enough trust me ^^ RNG reporter asks for the Min and Max of an IV value.

Yes you can use ir-GTS to check the IVs however, there's a built-in Pokedex IV-Checker in RNG Reporter (I first used the one on Serebii but this one's easier since you can actually right click and copy :P).

Now here's something new. I'm not sure if you have ever worked with IV Checkers before but the one in RNG Reporter is pretty much the same as anyone you've ever used before only that you can't put in EVs since it's pretty much meant to find your parameters. You put in the species, nature, trait, level and stats and it will calculate the range of IVs for you ^^

So there's no need of switching between DS's or the use of another external program. I think a Timer0 is related to a game+DS combination only meaning that switching won't really affect the Timer0. Meaning if you play the game on your 3DS and then go back to your DSO (i'll be using this from now on for the DS Original XD) the Timer0 will still be the samen for that combination.

I'm not sure about delay. You mean that you tried to press let's say 00:31 but actually got 00:32? Or if you're talking about a variation of 300 seconds then you probably watched a C-Gear tutorial (which I can tell you is the harder method of RNGing which you have to use when you have a DSi/ DSi XL and luckily we can use the easier method with our DS Original/ Lite!!!).

I tried to help someone calibrate their parameters for RNGing last night but it totally didn't work and I don't understand what the hell went wrong. Eventually we found a Timer0 but it wasn't the Timer0 you're supposed to have on a DS Lite :S I hope we can make it work still... At least I know about what points I need to be more clear of when trying to explain and which steps to take first ^^ Trying to perfection my learning method hahaha xD

It was really only supposed to last for like 20-30 minutes but it took us over an hour and it still happened to be the wrong timer. I hope that stuff doesn't happen when I try to teach you 0.o It's really bothering me because I learnt it pretty fast and calibrating was an easy thing to do but so far every result didn't get us any good Timer and the one we got was false... gaaah!!
