And you don't have to start from the beginning again, RNG abusing on a flash cart isn't much different. Just make sure you don't have your game inserted when you want to edit the time. When you save your time, turn it off and put your flash cart in it. Start your game, but don't continue the save. When the first timer runs out, you have to soft-reset your game, and then when the second timer runs out, you get ingame.
Yes, every time you call Elm, your frame will advance with 1. :)
And no I don't have any 5th gen games on my flashcart.
Just keep calling Elm, and keep checking if the answers match with the frames.
And yes I do have a flashcart on which I abuse, but the greatest part of my 4th gen RNG abuse is done on a retail cart.
Well, if you did the 9 calls to verify your seed, then you have to check on which frame you are exactly, and on which frame the IV's are that you need. If the IV's are on frame 18, you have to advance to frame 17. Just keep calling Elm until you get the answer (K,P,E) which corresponds with frame 17.
Then, close your Pokégear as fast as possible and talk to the day care man as fast as possible. There is a NPC down that route which you can't see. So just be sure he doesn't move. Then hatch the egg to see if you got it right. :)
I already said that. 4th gen ID/SID abuse require delay to hit, while 5th gen do not.
