King N! I'm working on Heatmor sprite. Hey, is shiny heatmor's fire the same color as non-shiny heatmor's?

Well I'm currently trying RNG using a Sweet Scenter and I know I have to make the save state while hovering over the 'Sweet Scent' action. Well when I do all that and check the frame afterwards and try to advance by a single frame to see if I actually advance FORWARD I get a result that actually goes back. This isn't the case everytime but the resulting frame always alters from what it SHOULD be. An example would be what I'm currently at:

Save State 1 - Frame 124084

I would then hit CTRL+P pausing the EMU then load save state 1 and advance the frame by 2 using CTRL+N and this is what I'm getting:

Frame 124013

So I'm essentially going backwards when I advance the frame SIGNIFICANTLY even when I only advance by 2 =/ do you know where I might be going wrong?
