he is picking the number that is in his program, putting it on that "Adress" tab on the ARM9 Memory thing. Then, he checks the third or fourth column on that (in HGSS i think its the fourth but in Pt is the third), and thats his seed, and the second/third column is his current frame.
in the second video he is basically trying to find his delay entering the game for ID/SID abuse. if you're not interested in shinys for now, you can skip that part. you should download that program he made, you use that to verify your seed without needing to capture pokemons or anything like that and also verify in what you're on.
Ok, assuming that you already read the guides and stuff about 4G RNG, watch Kazo's videos, after you watch that its really a piece of cake, he explains the entire process. Nope. It still works fine. Its roughly 3 years old. The trick is to put all the DLs onto an SD Card, as opposed to the actual system.
It was a GateWay, and WINDOWS98 was still the newest OS when I got. Need I say more?
I know how in Platinum, but no computer at the minute means no RNG reporter access for me. I use my Wii for web access.
