    anyway, so i was out in the Lake District yesterday, got up a few mountains and then stumbled into a little traditional pub. exhausted and dying for a drink, i ask the barmaid 'what whiskies ya got?' she points me in the direction of a menu and I pick it up, not really knowing what to expect.

    what i saw was the most beautiful whisky menu i have ever seen. my first thought can't be accurately expressed in words but my second thought was 'i oughta take a picture of this and show it to WaterBomb and my other whisky loving pals'

    So Universal Pulse is out and............... I'm going to say its their best in 12 years, not to raise your expectations or anything ;) SA is very strong on it. Hope you get a chance to hear it soon.

    oh god I forgot Champagne's a city in Illinois. That's a good choice too. Omaha Stylee is really, really tough ... i'm not too keen on the whole rapping thing. Leaving Babylon is sparse but I think I could add some runs or something. I'm a pretty mediocre singing but hey, it's karaoke, and I know it'll be fun!

    This is a long shot and a half, but did you attend 311 day in Vegas last year? It was only 4 hours from my house and I got to drive up to see them. It was incredible. No opening act, but some gimmicky Vegas stuff during set changes. Also, I just found out that Universal Pulse will be out in late summer. I should have known this but I haven't been on twitter in a long time and all my 311 news came from Nick Hexum hah.
