Also, if it's not supposed to be private, could you tell me why a user named "StruggleChomp" was banned? I didn't know them personally, but their posts weren't absolutely terrible to the point they'd get an almost-immediate ban for it (They were ICBB for a while then got banned shortly after). Was it just a case of arguing with the moderator who infracted them?
I understand, I really do, but.. it's just a kind-of "How/why did you make it this far into this site without even thinking that there were rules and such?" situation when you ask yourself that question, and to me it seems more like a choice to not check the rules/other forums/etc. than just legitimately not knowing about them (DT and Wi-Fi are literally like 2 inches apart on a computer screen).
Not to mention that in his first post, it was pretty much an advertisement for his website.. And, he said he "loved Smogon" which I found hard to believe.
Vader, I know it's not acceptable to be rude to people who don't know any better, but I believe that there is, eventually, a limit to that.
