Oh, I see, I thought you meant on BW. Because if you abused for a shiny PID, then you can abuse for IVs there. Emerald abuse is completely different.

I would, if it were already on the 5th gen. I'd need to transfer the poké to my Japanese SoulSilver cart, then pokéshifting to the Japanese White, and then to my retail White cart.

When you finish the BP, we can talk about trading. You can't say RNG abuse in 5th gen cartridges is hard until you've experienced 3rd and 4th gen abuse. It's a different process, which was made simpler in BW.

If you want a tip to make it easier, grab a camera and take a picture of the Petilil and Minccino's position when you're calibrating and use that to deduce whether you they might have advanced or not your frame.

If you don't have a camera or don't want to use it for whatever reason, draw their exact positions. You'll see it gets a lot easier to tell if you've pressed X at the correct moment.
