• Latios happens to be awsome. I beat palmer the 2nd round with him only by using calm mind, recover draco meteor and surf. Took out heatran, cressy and regigygas so hah! There's your proof

Do not be fooled into thinking that the Jet Plane is worthless without its infamous Soul Dew. Latios is still perfectly capable of posing a large threat in the Uber tier, wielding a few advantages that set him apart from his dragon brethren. Dialga and Palkia cannot handle the excruciating pain that their feet feel when switching into Spikes, which Latios avoids, courtesy of Levitate. Latios's movepool is also quite unique, in the sense that he gets access to Recover, Trick, and Memento, yet struggles to gain a Fire-Type move outside of Hidden Power Fire to defeat his steel foes. His base stats also leave much to be desired; although he has a blistering base 110 speed, his other stats are quite mediocre. In particular, his Special Attack are also quite low by Uber standards, failing to reach the 150 base Special Attack stat of the other
Uber Dragons. His defenses are also low, meaning that Latios will usually die if a faster Dragon releases a strong attack. Regardless of these disadvantages, Latios still makes for a great choice on any Uber team, and should not be forgotten as a threat.

shall start with the latios analysis. I gave it a cursory read-through and right away these are some mistakes I spotted that you missed out - just to clarify so please don't be offended haha, do you know what's wrong with each of them? as in, did you simply overlook them or are you just not that familiar with the smogon spelling and grammar standards?

moving on, yeah first of all the blue bit is a fairly obvious grammar mistake - even while correcting for conventions/ pokegrammar, don't forget that it's still your job to check for basic grammar!
the green bits are places I might make prose edits on.

"the Jet Plane": firstly, it's the Jet Plane Pokemon! secondly, it's a little cliche.

"Latios's movepool is also quite unique, in the sense that": way too conversational for an analysis imo. i talk like this in vm/ pm, but i certainly wouldn't write an analysis in this tone of voice :p

"yet struggles to gain": 'gain a fire-type move'? yeaaaah, odd. probably just something like 'struggles to dent steel-type foes as his best fire-type move is hp fire'

i'd also insert he gets access to the rare moves Recover, Trick, and Memento so as to not leave less familiar readers wondering what precisely is so special about those three moves

"His defenses are also low": surely you can find a synonym for 'low', haha

"releases a strong attack": again, odd wording

"Regardless of these disadvantages": i honestly can't explain why, but 'drawback' just seems like a better word here.

so yeah, was this helpful? :)
hmm, could you link me some of your checks? the best way to learn imo is to study sirndpt / omicron / most anyone's checks and look at why their change improved to content.
I have one too, I might do Jolly or mixed HP Ice :P

Good luck. I hate shiny roamers >.<
I know! I need to learn how to RNG wondercards, though xD

I'm not sure if I want an Adamant one or a Jolly one. What about you?
No, lol, I live in Ohio, but some of my relatives are in Dallas. Most are near me, though :P
I have relatives in Dallas too :P

We didn't drive out of state since most of my relatives live near us.
Oh I was asking since I saw you doing some GP checks xD

Sorry to hear that though :[
yeah, that's looking pretty good. Some small things

-the "both x and y" construction. When you say "both this and that," you must have "and." not "as well as," or "while" joining "this and that," but "and"
-as. That was a good check, as there were many better rewrites. Note the comma.
There's other stuff I can recommend doing, but I'll have to get on a computer to effectively demonstrate
Oh. Well in a summary I would say you could make more changes. You want to remove vagueness for one. Arcanine can OHKO Froslass. It uses Flate Blitz to do so. (ignore the overly contrived example)

What does "it" refer to? It may be obvious to you because you have metagame knowledge, but think about an inexperienced player. They might actually be confused since Froslass doesn't learn Flare Blitz, but "it" seems to refer to Froslass.
There's really not much else besides practicing grammar. When I did the test, I was sure to reread twice to make sure I didn't miss anything (and even then I missed a couple)
Anyway, the first thing I noticed is you do *color [remove blahblahblah] *another color [add lalalalalalalala]. this is somewhat confusing since there are extra words that don't need to go into the analysis. The contrasting colors provide enough "add" "remove" element. I'll get back with more soonish
Sure, let me look at some of your stuff and hopefully get back to you soon (I'm technically on a leave if absence because I have little computer access, just iPod/iPad so it's hard to type).

Also, did you receive a second test in your application yet?
Yeah, I saw! Rash, Naive, Jolly, and Adamant :P

I think I only want to do Jolly or Adamant. Unless I Entralink abuse it. Then I'll open my options. But I still don't understand how to get Bagon from DW - is it possible to get him without having 10,000 DW points? Because I read somewhere that you need to get 10,000 points in a minigame or something and I'm confused .-.
