    I switched Tusk's booster for leftovers, but I think I prefer booster for Bolt, I've tried both and while leftovers is helpful, the damage from booster Bolt really helps break more defensive mons early on, and Alo provides decently reliable recovery. Glasses also helps Gambit revenge kill more reliably which is something I really rely on since none of my team are very fast

    I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos! :] This team has 2 main issues that I can see: no immediate power and no speed control. Furthermore some of the sets are a bit wonky. I would recommend Substitute over Knock Off on Serperior, Leftovers over Black Sludge on Clodsire (if you Tera, Sludge will hurt you),

    and Iron Defense over Defog on Corviknight. I suggest having some form of consistent removal, ideally Great Tusk. An attack and speed invested Great Tusk over Zoroark would be a good change. Spikes over Toxic Spikes on Clodsire as well.

    I'm also not too sure how well Serperior suits this team, I'd recommend trying a Modest Specs Dragapult instead. Good luck with the team! :]

    The Hawlucha is meant to have Mold Breaker instead of Limber.

    This looks not bad! I would ditch the Hawlucha though. Your team isn't particularly weak to hazards, so you don't need the removal. The only really scary entry hazard is Sticky Web, so perhaps run a Serperior instead of Hawlucha (Contrary will lead to you getting a speed boost)!

    This is where testing comes in handy. Keep a tally, write down whenever you wish you had Low Kick or you wish you were Tera Fairy, or when you're happy with the original set. Eventually the correct answer will be revealed. Personally I'd go Leftovers + Low Kick over Iron Head.

    Hello! Sorry to bother you again, but after the update on showdown, a lot of power creep popped up, so I made a new team. I find it pretty nice, but my main worry is the lack of priority. Is there a way I can fit priority? Is there any other changes I could make? Thanks!

    Maushold is very out-of-place here, I'd say replace Maushold with Kingambit. That should help.

    I'd say Hgant is always better than regular Lilligant on sun-- your set can certainly cheese some wins but most games in high ladder it won't do much, I think.

    well you think, funnily the se can catch many off guard, is it as good as h-gant no since h-gant we can both agree has great opportunity cost, but the normal gant can cook like don't you count it out, I fought a guy in low ladder he was using this set but I changed the evs he destroyed my skeledirge and with the damage the gant had done he opened up his other mons

    Hi, that mew trapper team that I sent you I have used your advice and have created this version of the team. The main changes are the additions of scizor and iron hands over mew and rotom-heat. For the iron hands, would you recommend heavy slam over fake out, fake out was added for some chip, and on glowking, would there be a better option over yawn? Thank you

    I'm not on board with the LO Landorus exactly, but if you're asking about sets I'd say go Sludge Bomb over Yawn on Glowking, and I would say Heavy Slam over Fake Out but that's just my personal preference.

    This team is very very slow, breakers like Ogerpon-W are extremely threatening. You need some form of speed control or additional priority, your team isn't bulky enough for CB rilla to be the only way to stop sweepers.

    Hey boss I used your thund-t team a while ago(the one with goodra-h) and it was mucho strong, i felt like goodra-h was putting in all the work so i thought i'd build a team around it what do you think

    i swapped eq for knock on goodra bc of terrain i think it's ok but i feel like i lack damage in the midgame a bit? maybe if i swap gren out for someone? thanks man

    I love the idea of this core! The set seems really solid as well. The rest of the team feels a bit random though, Lando + Rillaboom isn't very good here (weakened EQ) and Gren also doesn't make a lot of sense. Try to decide on a playstyle before building, I'd recommend aiming for balance.

    Hey Pinkacross what are your thoughts on this team? I've done some testing with this same team but with clodsire instead of Gking and flip turn over knock off on wake. Do you think the version clodsire's rocks and unaware are better than gking's paralysis, pivoting, and better weather matchup?

    I'd say for a volt-turn team like this you absolutely need hazards of some kind, so I'd add a Stealth Rock user. Also I'd go Knock Off Flip Turn Draco Surf on Wake, Fthrow isn't really necessary.

    Thanks! I'm concerned about Zapdos and Shadow Ball for the most part. If you could fit a Dark type onto your team, I would recommend doing so. A Kingambit over Ogerpon might help with that.

    I'd love it if you wantd to dissect my team for one of your videos, I've really profited from your content gamewise.

    It's a little gimmicky with fling ursaluna to burn incoming physical attackers but it seems to work okay most of the time. Goldengho is a little bit of a problem here and there and some others, maybe you have some ideas :)

    Hey, thanks for the submission! This looks pretty interesting, some of the immediate issues I see are: 1, this is trick room which I don't think is viable and 2, it seems like you're mixing playstyles a bit by putting Dondozo on an Offense / HO team. I'd replace Dondozo for Kingambit, this would probably help.

    Hey Pinkacross, just wondering if you could check out this Trapper mew team and recommend any adjustments. For example, my meowscarada has only Jolly nature and 200 speed evs, because that's one more point than jolly/timid booster speed iron valiant, but I don't know if investing in full speed is more worth it.

    Hey carterben! This team is interesting but to be honest I think it needs more than adjustments to be viable at a top level. This mew set seems very ineffective, as does this Landorus. Nasty Plot boosts Special Attack, and Crunch is a Physical attack.

    I would certainly encourage you to keep building, playing, and having fun, but at the moment this team has so many aspects that aren't competitively optimal that to improve the team I'd have to basically scrap and rebuild it. That being said, you do have one cool core here! Glowking + Meowscarada is solid! As for the speed, I'd suggest maximum for Speed ties and Scarf Greninja, but perhaps this is not necessary.

    I suppose it depends on the team, but I would say no. Ogerpon-Wellspring perhaps, but not Valiant or Samurott. Neither of those pokemon can pose an immediate threat to anything with decent bulk.

    Hey again Pinkacross-- I am currently testing the above team and really enjoying it. Team was built around this DNite set from pre-home meta, and mons were added in the order shown. My main concerns rn are related to the Gholdengo set/spread, Great Tusk moveset, and Iron Valiant in general. Also I may be overindexed on the stall matchup. Thoughts?

    This looks pretty solid, and your stall MU seems fantastic also. My one concern is your lack of speed control / immediate power, I recommend Tera Normal Espeed Dragonite.

    Hey Pinkacross!

    In your recent HO video, you gave a doc of all the mons you think are viable. I'm theorying a Veil HO with Nasty Plot Thundurus-T with Tera Blast/Weather Ball for BoltBeam coverage. Would you think this type of team could work (given proper teambuilding around that sweeper), or do you think Thundurus-T is not well-suited for the HO sweeper role due to reliance on Tera Ice/snow being active?

    Tera Blast could work, but honestly now that Gliscor is gone, you can probably do very well with Thunderbolt + Grass Knot coverage, so that way you aren't even Tera reliant. If you need a Stallbuster, go Taunt + NP + Tbolt + Gnot, and if you want to go the sweeper route you can go Sub or Agility over Taunt. :] Good luck!

    Yeah my bad, I saw the note on the side about it being nonexhaustive after I posted haha. Thanks for your input! TBolt + Grass Knot definitely makes sense, but what about FBlast last to muscle through potential Blissey?

    Fblast isn't necessary if you're running Taunt, but if you're not, then you could run Fblast. I personally would never rely on Fblast Thundurus for stallbreaking, and I think it's a terrible move since it has 70% accuracy, but it technically could work.

    It seems to be doing okay on the midladder but there are still some things I am unsure about(like maybe giving trick to Iron Valiant or which mon to put stealth rocks on). I am not the best at teambuilding so I hoped for some improvements.

    As for the hazard situation, normally I don't support SR on Ting-Lu but it does make some sense here, you could consider Spikes Ting-Lu and Stealth Rock over Flash Cannon on Heatran but I hesitate to make this team a hazard stack since you don't have a Rapid Spin user.

    I would say keep Stealth Rock (or you could try dual hazards and drop Whirlwind) on Ting-Lu, and use Will-O-Wisp over Flash cannon on Heatran to cover your weakness to Kingambit. Good luck!

Also I wanna say, I did consider roost Dragonite but my mind was more offensively oriented ( stab tera flying with a boost hits incredibly hard and is amazing for breaking glis, unaware mons and sweeping. Alo can wish pass so he can use his Multiscale multiple times.)

    There are a few other glaring weaknesses-- no ghost resist isn't good, a Specs Dragapult or opposing Gholdengo could give you a very hard time.

    For the most part though, this team (despite looking fairly odd) isn't too bad! Nice job, this is a cool build. For the problems that do exist, I don't see any quick fixes, but it looks like a fun and overall solid team.

    One more point though, make Great Tusk jolly with max speed-- you don't want to be getting outsped by Gholdengo, that can cause major problems.

    I'm not a fan of this. It seems like you've done a bit of playstyle mixing here, Booster Energy Iron Valiant in the middle of a balance team doesn't make much sense. You also have no Ghost resist, so Dragapult and Gholdengo will be a nightmare, and those are some of the most high usage pokemon in OU.

    There are lots of ways to improve your stall matchup, the one I used on my Alomomola team is to have a strong special attacker + hazards + pivot move + knock off so that Blissey can't reliably swap in, and the team eventually loses. Another way is using Guts pokemon, Glowking helps a lot, hstack is great, etc.

    Hey pink, i tend to struggle with team building when im playing in draft leagues. I looked into your video about playstyles and noticed my draft teams often end up being a mix of styles with each mon covering for the other, rather than the team focusing on 1 style. What are some tips to build around 1 pokemon and identifying the playstyle while building the team?

    Draft leagues are EXTREMELY different from regular teambuilding-- due to your limited options and the limited options of your opponents, the ideal team often WILL be a mix of playstyles. Pokeiam, (imo the best draft league player) often uses teams that would be considered disasters in Singles.

    I'd say for draft leagues, play some practice games with a friend using your opponent's pokemon, and test to see what works best. Conventional building, for the most part, gets thrown out the window.
