Yeah, Cloverfield. The trailer for the Movie is here.

Looks much like the Typical Godzilla and King Kong, but as said, this movie looks very surprising for me, i think it's gonna be real awesome. PG-13. People seem to be going crazy to find what the monster is. The trailer looks pretty sick. There's been a picture going around of the "Monster", i should post it if anyone requests to, if not then no.

The main cast goes: Michael Stahl-David, Mike Vogel, Mike Vogel, and Jessica Lucas.

Comes out on the 18'th. I am sure im going to see this movie. Anyone else?

i was intrigued when i found out one of the working titles was 'slusho' ?_ ?

This movie looks AWESOME. Once they revealed the "preview" in July, I was immediately hooked and wanted to see it.

I really like the direction they're going with this movie with the camcordering, etc.

Another movie on the world being destroyed though.. >.<
 
This thread was the first time I've heard of this movie at all

i watched the trailer and it gave me GOOSEBUMPS AT THE END omg!!

well i like the way they are handling this movie, a lot more realistic than your typical monster flick, and hiding the monster's identity is a terrific move on their part
 
zzzzzzzz blair witch meets godzilla. no thanks. too much hype (over nothing special [edited for douchebag hipmonlee]). i dont care if jj abrams is behind the movie.
 
I'm not entirely sure, but if an actual good movie was ever made, wouldnt it generate hype as well?

I'll be honest: when I first saw this topic I thought they were making a 9/11 movie
 
i would laugh my ass off if it turned into a 9/11 movie, honestly.

seriously though, one of my friends showed me the whole 3 second clip of when the monster's on screen, which can be found here, so i'm pretty excited about this. originally i thought, welp this is a godzilla movie! now i am not so sure. i'm leaning more towards an off shoot kinda thing like mothra or that hydra thing.

i dunno if it's the one posted in this thread since i can't see venom's image for some reason, but some fan art was created that made this thing into some fucking crazy whale monster, and it was cool and had little lice (louses?) or some shit that latched on to it. seen here

yes, just fan art, but fuuuuuuuck yeah it's like street sharks to the EXTREME

Kay, I have to say I wasn't expecting it. I was expecting another "everyone's going to die" movie like .. pretty much every movie right now that says the Earth will end soon.

But with a huge monster? >.< We haven't had one of those in a while. Thought it would have more suspense/mystery behind it..
