Tbf I didn’t say that it was scummy from Former to do this, was just noting down my thoughts at the time.

No this is a very normal reaction to this game state that I’m approaching. Former is chokeholding discussion so town isn’t getting anything done, which is extremely demotivating for us. It’s a common scum strategy for this reason.
 
-clarinet's confusing me atm i think i'm sharing dusk's inability to read him - i think they're town? maybe?
-shubaka is an option to vote off but they haven't posted nearly enough for it to be useful info if they flip town, which is why, if they are town orientated, would be a nice vote for the maf to push
-i'd kind of like to hear more from both shubaka17 and Thunder~BALLZ -- who do you think should be voted off today? who's scummy and towny in your eyes? and once again i want that clarinet sr from you thunderballz

No one has a good indicator of my town game thoug, and this is making you look worse trying to meta off one game?
 
Well, it's not so much that I've claimed cop before as it is that people who have played with me for awhile know I'm a fan of big gambits, some which play out and go well, some which don't. But when they do it's usually pretty grand.

There's a few people here who might know about that, but the one I'd be the most sure of is Tommy/Duskfall.

If anyone really wants a good read through, go read D1 of last game where town Tommy tried to solve Mafia Former's slot. Then compare it to this game and spot the differences.
 
Former apart from celever/duskfall who would you like to see voted off today

i don't get why alakazam would be a fakeclaim, we've already agreed that flavour has no real bearing on which role/alliance you are, so former can be both alakazam and maf, there doesn't need to be a fakeclaim, that argument doesn't make any sense

Ok so perfect, you can finally admit it’s not a scumslip. Because I said you claiming daycop is something you’ve done before, and you said someone must have passed me that information, but no one in the game could have passed me that information so therefore it’s not a scum slip. Glad you’ve finally come around.

Mafia will still get fake claims so they don’t claim the same role name as a town (if the host is good which Tommy says they are)

Reminder that that vote count is as messy as it is because Former centralised discussion for the entire last 24 hours of the game around himself and his dumb gambit so town didn’t get the chance to get their normal solving done.
 
i think there's maf in former/duskfall with the way they're going at each other's throats but former's defense feels a lot weaker -- and they've flipped from 'if celever's maf then duskfall's their partner' to wanting duskfall out first which seems inconsistent

i also think there's a reason why the gambit in particular seems like something maf would do over town (or rather, the logic that 'maf would instantly know it's fake if bgb is town so would refuse it outright' which is very flimsy and seems like it's a way to manufacture a 'gotcha' that's not there)
