Somehow this team won a week faster than the pedes last year but oml this team is ass bro. They really have only 2 good players IMO in Urfgurgle and TSC. I think this pairing only got captain based on respect Elo has from the 1v1 community and I think it was way too early to let Murman manage after he kinda crumbled during WCUP. Even if you spend hours making docs and scouting opponents if you can't click you lose and that's the main problem with this team. SS core of Blanched, Gym Socks, and Murman isn't necessarily bad on paper, but Gym has never really done well in team tours, Murman is streaky, and Blanched is unfortunately from US West, which is a curse. Waylaid and Radu said Blanched was better than me last year and we teamed together in a discord tour where he did well so I believe he can anchor this core. Although, drafting a new player for 6k that I've heard is on the same level Heyman and Doc is kind of a red flag. TSC has Elo to help him in SM so that's fine, but I do not know why lei has been starting in SM, I haven't been on the site for a while so idk if she mains this tier or did elo and murm expect rumia to ghost her or if Sky of Doom has fallen off the earth. For ORAS even though urf is cold rn however, I've seen IC start 0-3 and then finish 3-3 so I believe he can turn it around. Having ggopw as your BW slot is pretty good tho, probably one of the more underrated parts of their underwhelming draft. Elo in multigen is fine because idk who else you would have play it besides bird poop getting ghosted by dom. Overall, this is a group of a lot of likable people in the community with not a lot of firepower.
7. Hyperspace Horrors
I consider this the ghosting slot team as they for sure have Solar and Gohar helping them. First of all, they went from winning all 3 of their SS games week 1, to losing all of them in week 2. I really don't know who builds good SS teams on this team besides Aliss which is the biggest problem, but the core is solid overall as IPF is a good clicker and RTM can always be flexed into SM if he struggles in SS. Squirtell will try to turn the narrative that he's an overrated player in this PL and he should be 2-0 (I'll get to that later) as really SM good support in James. Torterrax has had 2 brutal g5 losses so I won't say he's a fraud yet because I started my 1v1 career the same way. Dez is going to eat in this ORAS pool so expect him to only drop maybe 2 series. PA needs to be better with the good bw support he has even if he played 2 of best BW players in the pool and Jamez is one of the best mgers and can beat anybody as well as being able to build every gen except SS. Horrors will have to get the SS firing in order to make the playoffs.
6. Playful Panchams
Despite drafting 2 of the best players in the pool, I don't think this team is that good. This team desperately needs a good slave builder to make their roster work or one of their unknown players to step up because right now their SS3 is an auto loss. Panchams basically need XSC, Nalei, and Mish to win every week for them to have a chance. Nalei and XSC are good, but have shown not to be invincible like they have been in the past. If this team had a ghosting slot in SS3 I would rank them a lot higher. With the players they have, it's a good call to put XSC in SM and Tol has proven he can come back from the dead and win some games. My man Scraft needs to be playing in ORAS despite Trashunny being 2-0 rn. You get Dom support and I think trashunny best slot would be multigen over cab because I have no idea of his meta knowledge outside of DPP. Zen 3-0d Maki today so I will never hate on their playing ability. If this team gets super hot at the right time they could honestly probably just win the tour or just end up like pedes if XSC gets banned.
5. Trigger-Happy Thwackeys
This team is just really weird to me. SS is the strong suit of this team and has the potential to have the best core. Tears is good bo7 player with chungus by his side, but I've never been sure where to rank among SS players due to his disastrous wcup performances. 18k D2W was funny (even if everyone knew he was underrated), though the irishman is 2-0 and could possibly have the best bo5 ss record this tour. Like most teams, their testing who should play ss3 and whoever steps up has some of the best support in the tour. nolenot got owned by crucify so I hope the lovely managers give him another chance or play my dog ED, even if crying 3-0d someone named ballfire. Their SM is kinda meh, chungus drafted the person who created him in Rosa and she's always kinda gone even since I've been around so that's alright ig. I love Freddy, clearly tho that man obviously not in his prime and probably struggles if he keeps playing SM. OM has a good tour every other year and he's really not the strongest player even with chungus support. I've never heard of their BW player so I'll talk about the heart and soul of this team potatochungus. This man is the biggest tryhard in 1v1 I've ever seen only rivaled by senile ggopw and he'll have to carry this team into playoffs. People often forget that he used to be one of the biggest chokers in the community. He's erased that narrative with a dominant 2021 and he'll have to carry this team as this rides or dies on him.
4. Hellfire Heatrans
I put them 4th based on how good their players really are despite what their records show. So far they are 0-6 in SS which is likely not going to continue (who knows tho). The obvious phenomenon is that Denis is 0-2 and I think he'll be extra motivated now to get his season back on track. Frag is 0-2 but also loss both in 5 so I expect him to turn it around too (idk who green lit corviknight in 2022 tho w1) and it seems that they are figuring out who can win an SS game with both ncal and ballfire not being able to win a single game in their series. Honestly, if Radu is mass building their SS then this team is doomed as I see him as the Walmart version of potatochan and crucify. We get to SM where Radu playing this tier is the biggest meme I've seen so far, this guy should be 0-2 after robbing my mf dog squirtell and looks to be washed (hopefully this motivates you to play better). Then we got the lowkey shooters gorilla and AOPS who look to be the key additions that this squad will need if their SS can turn it around. Both 2-0 and AOPS looks to be a boomer god in 1v1. Joker is just Joker, an underappreciated player who will do well unless he starts to meme for no reason and can play multiple slots and can play SM if Radu wants to go back to his home in BW or switch to mg. Close is the best all-around player on the team and can virtually play anywhere and seems to always play against good opponents which kinda taints his record slightly but I have no doubt in my mind that Close will go positive. This team is underperforming right now, however, in all likelihood will turn it around become a contender.
3. Drive-By Dragapults
Ima ride with pults as my bold pick to do well the rest of the season. Godqs is going to go undefeated as I've been drinking the pqs hype juice forever and he finally will get his groove back after Kaif took his soul and made him lose his badge. HCTC is usually always solid and if dogknees learns the meta fast and is active, he should do well and not rot away like he did on the Poliwraths last year. They also have a ton of SS slave support on the bench who are good undervalued players like tenzhii, adam, and 413. They drafted the best SM duo IMO even if rumia still can't build she's a god clicker and Lancer is great player as long as he is active. pj is 0-2, but he proved that the oras pool is ass in wcup so who knows what his record will be when PL is over. Sansho to me is the best BW player rn, even if he doesn't talk a lot he'll get results and might only drop 1-2 series this PL. Mubs has taken the burden of playing multigen for this team and has started 0-2 with a gauntlet still to come. I helped mubs become a worldbeater in WCUP and saw a lot of growth from in that tour so it comes down to Mub's confidence for him to get a respectful record in the death tier. Very solid squad with the potential to get even better.
2. Big Baller Skewdas
Maybe a little biased since I have the most friends on this team and over half of the team was in the pedes cord from last year, but this team got that ring potential. Crucify knows how to draft teams with good synergy. This team has a lot of flexibility in terms of how they want to slot with 6/8 of their players being able to move around. The team's only weakness IMO is that there is no superstar player in SS slots with crucify probably playing multigen most weeks. Bird has improved a lot since last year when he was super raw and maybe has the potential to break out. Whoever they slot in the other SS slots should do really well due to the great building on this team and I'm excited for rellia to not be on trash SS building team for once. Nick is also good value for his price and can learn while being on the bench for now. In SM they got edgar who is ass at all OU gens should do well for the remainder of the szn. Bopher has surprised me with his SM prowess so far and I love seeing him do well in PL since he is one of my OGs. I expect blurb and leru to get switched around, but I expected Blurb's testosterone and ego to carry him to go undefeated after dogging potatochungus, but unfortunately, he got upset by Trashunny. It's key he doesn't break down like he did on RPS because he is key to this team. Maki is trash so I'll move on to Crucify who did in fact rob me when we did a friendly in multigen. However, he's undoubtedly the best multigen player in the pool and should redeem himself for his poor PL in his standards last year. The bench is kinda meh but there's no reason to sub any of the starters out so I hope to see this team in the finals vs the team I ranked 1st.
1. Metro Boomin Megarays
I think my bro DEG can finally get a ring with this team he assembled. I don't there's any real weakness on this team and were underrated like the porygons last year post draft. In an ideal world, Deg and Itchy should start SMB in SS3 and make this team unbeatable. People said zio washed but when my man is hot, he's top shotta, and my e-girlfriend smelly socks finally started a tour 2-0 and is defying the narrative that RO's are mid in 1v1 team tours. Despite all the hate boat gets for being bad, with Deg support he should have a pretty good tour and LBDC is automatic to go positive. You got the German powerhouse Ink in ORAS and I'm assuming that Fan is supporting him which makes Ink the favorite to have the best ORAS record this tour. Itchy is definitely the question mark of this team, but idk how you can go negative with Yami and Deg support in BW. Neomon has also returned after hiatus and looked good even though he beat arguably the 2 worst players in the stacked pool so that's another slot to watch. Championship favorite IMO, get yourself a trophy DEG.

the cool thing about the muthafuckin skewdas right now is that they're very reminiscent of the pl4 skewdas. their regular season has gone really fucking good, with LICHERALLY 3 3-0 players bro what??? kwucify, bofa, and god gronky are all 3-0 with some pretty dominant wins all around the bored. and even better than the pl4 skewdas is that you can't really count any slot out on this team. pl4 skewdas somehow fucking won a ring with an autoloss bw in like every week, playoff week, and every tb. granted, the stars fuckin aligned to make that happen but thats how u get rings fam. these muthafuckas have gotten 2 6-2 bodybag dubskis in a matter of 3 weeks, and only tied panchams cus panchams got bailed by all their good players winning + zeno winning too. that's kinda rare. they did fail to clutch a week win from 4-2 tho tbh if this becomes a repeating thing that do be bad.
looking later at da season the biggest thing for me is that their tb seems very crucify-centric. he is a good competitor in LICHERALLY every single muthafuckin tier but at the same time he prolly has to get bailed by leru and some other fed person right? tb bopher kinda sussy baka if we're keeping it a hundo i feel like he's never really had a super high stakes moment, and he could be nerfed by pressure.
overall good lookz for barras tbh also they played all the hard teams KEK. unfortuntately jerk teams are highkey cursed, so we'll see what happens. maybe they falter in tb later down the line?

the mrays before playing the skewdas has 5 (FIVE) players that were 2-0 which is pretty insane honestly, some of those ended last week but that happens the majority of the games in that series were super close. smely socks doing well is especially good for them bc lol smely socks and lol smely socks in pl and lol 15.5k smely socks, neomon and ink doing well despite being coffin to every non relevant armchair is unsurprising though they have 0 zard usage in oras, bad sign. zio has a good record so far but has been shaky at points, clutchwings has been having the tour of his life so far but we'll see if these two keep up. itchy is not good and negative rn but has had some close series but are just a deg slot so wutevs, the bad parts of this team rn is LBDC is mothafuckin 0-3 after being one of the most consistent sm players the past couple years showing sm is actual meme tier yet again, and their ss 3 has been dick and balls so far with them being 0-3 between scholar and smb.
overall their lu is all around good but their 0-3 slots gotta start winning for them to get over the top because they low key are lacking true star players besides zio whose been shaky when it comes to tense playoff series and tbs, like if he loses in semis if might just be season over for them and another deg semifinals exit

kek this team realistically only has 3.5 good players and then a bunch of the most inconsistent players oat but its been working. trashuny and xsc have been ice cold, mishlef has been solid, but nalei has been below her usual standard so far (would be 0-3 if didnt crit bird week 2), and the rest of their slots are superrr questionable but zen has been good with trashuny support. scraft low key saved their season by beating cryingg but we'll see if he can keep winning, their ss3 was looking like a disaster but maybe it still is, tol is somehow 2-1 after smoking jacobs pack in the coinflip that is multigen, and jab is 0-3 and has lost 6 games straight so theres that.
overall this team is super super top heavy and they need all their good players to win every week to be in it, but their questionable slots have been just good enough to be able to tie skewdas and win 6-2 vs thwackeys and make them be number 3. their tb is also super broken if nalei starts smoking everyone if they make it to playoffs

this team that a bunch of people were saying was the worst team finds themselves second in the standings right now but it probably wont stay that way. they've played the bottom two teams in the standings, and have a tough road ahead of them. nevertheless pqs has ascended and become a undefeated demigod with a strong win over close in mg saving their mg slot, dogknees and charm have been strong in ss, their ss3 is beatiful who is a massive questionmark idk, lancer has been good despite bringing some of the ugliest teams of all time as always, but rumia timed out week 1 and got turbowashed by radoat last week. mubs went 0-2 in mg into playing the worst oras series of recent memory but winning idk, this team being second feels like a fever dream right now oh also sansho is doing good as he normally does and would be 3-0 if aops didnt expertly scald burn him
overall this team has some shooters but god doesnt even know if pqs is gonna reverse his pl4 record or start losing af like hes done in the past, realistically though the other people that have been doing good on their team will probably keep rolling its just a matter of when it gets to later weeks and playoffs if they make it if they can clutch up because the clutch/tb players on this team are actually nowhere to be found

you honestly love to see it, the jacob team in the bottom half of teams? amazing. pure bliss. to elaborate, they have gotten 6-2ed TWICE IN THREE WEEKS. and their win is from the heatrans yeah good job dude. jacob himself is negative, but the sample size is low and he licherally inted while slotting week 1 multiple times. the cone boys have been horrible kek muthafuckin jacob 1-2 om 0-3 freddy 0-3, maybe pacific being broken was all a fever dream. a big deal is that a team like jacob that dropped absolute racks for their captain is that none of their cheap/steal players have done literally anything breh. nolenot 0-1, fakee 1-2, crying 1-1, and muthafuckin explodingdonkey coming off the bench to save the season. all of their positive players were above 10k jacob putting himself in oras probably farms tbh so he should turn his record around prollE but that also means the 10k on om goes on the drain. also freddy in this very competitive mg pool is sussy baka. overall, this team needs the cheap muthafuckas to WIN GAMES! they like, haven't, and they need to breh. d2 and rosa have been fine, but for example looking into the future you probably want your 17k player to do better than fine. i highkey don't think 17k for a ss bo5 player who builds for themselves and themselves only is just not a good decision jacob should have made unless he ascends and is a tb weapon. the good thing tho is that these muthafuckas play pults/mrays/rhyps/horrors which is not particularly hard. can jacob prove that he's muthafuckin jacob?

overall this lineup is a mess LOL and their clutch factor is rivaling the pults for least in the tour they got blanched tsc urf which isnt the worst but ye, this team is super mickey mouse but they make up for lack of superstar talent with team spirit and prep and shit so they have hella playoff potential

ok so the horrors find themselves in a pretty bad place after losing to both the pults and rhyperiors. these mfs couldnt even send lineup in on time man LOL thats what happens with ur low key being handheld by banned deucers but anyways their slotting decisions have been a little sus like return to monkey best of seven and doctor numbers actually starting lol without getting ghosted by solar or jamez like they keep saying they are gonna do. on top of that jamez lost to gym socks, dez lost to bird poop last week, elo bandit tour goat torterra is 0-3, and their bw slot is winless (got called out by berryalcremie even). also how their slotting ipf is an actual joke dude bro what the cock balls dude, manager incompetence bruh. at fucking least they have the spring queen winning games, and i guess they do have a bright spot in sm with squirtell doin well and toastedbunzzz winning with help from lrxc spamming the chat. idk it hasn't been a good start for the horrors and it only gets harder from here, this week vs barras is a huge test for them and if things go bad its season over a f, but if they can put a week together here with the talent they have on their lineup they have a shot at making playoffs

WITH DENIS??? dood what? also some people thought highly of the frag buy, but DUDE YOU NEED TO FEED HIM. radu ss teams are fuckin dubious and pretty much were the rise and fall (emphasis on fall) of thwackeys. the one fortunate thing for heatrans is aops completely ascending, even if it needed a game 5 scald burn. if he can theoreitcally flex into random slots and win that's a good thing to have on your team. but the big deal here is ss, not really much more to say brutha. their sm has looked solid, radu figured that tier out, and joker is currently negative and fresh off a series of chokes. currently, this team is trying to get a hero's destiny to win games in bw, not the worst strat in the world considering feeding is pretty much the standard for bw. close is also currently sporting a 1-2 record, meaning their like 40k duo is currently 1-5. this team probably has a bad mental right now, which sucks. that's why i think this team will go nowhere. their mentality is definitely not good and their weaknesses are not easy to fix. teams with assdong ss (cg if you want to be specific) a lot of the time don't fix themselves. it's the reason west is a complete fucking meme.

ok so the horrors find themselves in a pretty bad place after losing to both the pults and rhyperiors. these mfs couldnt even send lineup in on time man LOL thats what happens with ur low key being handheld by banned deucers but anyways their slotting decisions have been a little sus like return to monkey best of seven and doctor numbers actually starting lol without getting ghosted by solar or jamez like they keep saying they are gonna do. on top of that jamez lost to gym socks, dez lost to bird poop last week, elo bandit tour goat torterra is 0-3, and their bw slot is winless (got called out by berryalcremie even). also how their slotting ipf is an actual joke dude bro what the cock balls dude, manager incompetence bruh. at fucking least they have the spring queen winning games, and i guess they do have a bright spot in sm with squirtell doin well and toastedbunzzz winning with help from lrxc spamming the chat. idk it hasn't been a good start for the horrors and it only gets harder from here, this week vs barras is a huge test for them and if things go bad its season over a f, but if they can put a week together here with the talent they have on their lineup they have a shot at making playoffs

WITH DENIS??? dood what? also some people thought highly of the frag buy, but DUDE YOU NEED TO FEED HIM. radu ss teams are fuckin dubious and pretty much were the rise and fall (emphasis on fall) of thwackeys. the one fortunate thing for heatrans is aops completely ascending, even if it needed a game 5 scald burn. if he can theoreitcally flex into random slots and win that's a good thing to have on your team. but the big deal here is ss, not really much more to say brutha. their sm has looked solid, radu figured that tier out, and joker is currently negative and fresh off a series of chokes. currently, this team is trying to get a hero's destiny to win games in bw, not the worst strat in the world considering feeding is pretty much the standard for bw. close is also currently sporting a 1-2 record, meaning their like 40k duo is currently 1-5. this team probably has a bad mental right now, which sucks. that's why i think this team will go nowhere. their mentality is definitely not good and their weaknesses are not easy to fix. teams with assdong ss (cg if you want to be specific) a lot of the time don't fix themselves. it's the reason west is a complete fucking meme.

Before the draft, Close and Denis looked like one of the strongest manager pairs. Both had a veteran history of strong tour performance and were fresh off a worldcup victory, but, there were skeptics of the Italian duo. The duo is not particularly known as strong builders. They can build but they need assistance to do so, this lack of self-sufficiency also led some to worry about their price. Near-40k is a fuck ton to pay on two players let alone two players who are not going to be building for other slots. That being said, the pair covered bo7/mg which did justify the price somewhat.
DRAFT DAY! Many managers were uncertain who exactly heatrans were aiming for. Covering their building issue with 60k in the auction was going to be annoying. Heatrans attempted to patch this issue by completing the legendary Italian trio, 19.5k radu. Which LOL. Before the first round of noms had even lapsed heatrans were down to nearly 40k. stable is fresh off two pretty underwhelming tours with wcup and the end of pl but he'll still probably be able to go positive surely. He can also play w/e the fuck so it opens them up for a lot of options. they then decided immediately after buying RADUOAT that buying players who can build for themselves is very cringe. frag wesley ballfire are all completely incapable with denis close ncal gorilaa aops all needing help to build. Many were confident that this lu would be powerful tho due to the massive amount of talent on the lu.
week 1 rolls around and it's already looking like disastro. raduot has to luck squirtell because he's radu then their ss goes fuckin 0-3. all it takes is a loss from joker to secure the tie for horrors. this is pretty fucking obvious but ss going 0-3 is horrendous and really bad tidings for the future weeks.
week 2 trans gets tossed on their neck. somehow the only 2-0 players are aops and gorilla with the ss still being winless, including DenisDamenace.
week 3 goes worse with an adrimable 0-9 ss. trans prep has been incredibly standard and boring leaning on the players to outplay but unfortunately, everyone on the lu has a contest to see who can throw more games. I cannot say exactly why as I am was not in the cord but holy shit everyone is just playing ass. they lose way more games to choking or 0-3 clicking than getting 3-0d/luck.
week 4 yet another loss. in somewhat dubious fashion the ss goes 0-12. ZERO FUCKING TWELVE. SMBOAT HAS MORE SS WINS THAN THE ENTIRETY OF THEIR TEAM!!!! aops fails his win in every gen run, joker loses gard vs serp, denis gets murmdogged :Skull:
I think while on paper this team was fine I have zero fucking clue what the plan was to keep up activity and get good teams built. The support core is literally just radu. He has to build for every slot including his own which 1) is not sustainable at all 2) radu secretly is ass at the game. Horrors is the newest pl team made for pl6. The pair selected for carving out a new legacy was James+PA and hoo boy did they leave an impression. Before the discussion of the actual draft, let's discuss how this pair looked on paper. 23k for both managers is reasonable albeit PA did not exactly have the strongest history. Both specialize in old gens which from the get-go posed a pretty large issue. A team simply needs strong CG if it wishes to perform. It's forced in tb, bo7 is generally one of the more competitive slots, and it can almost win/lose a week on its own. In previous pls this may not have been a huge issue, but, the year is 2022. No one builds for themselves and the number of players that can supply a team with good SS teams is even lower. You stack this with the fact that DPP just got axed and it looked like James was going to have a rough time fielding slots.
Judgment day. James has an innovative strategy for auction: just upbid the shit out of everyone who you think is decent and hope you bag some for less than expected along the way. This did not work in practice. While it certainly did help drain other teams' credits, this bold strategy led to one of the most random LUs in pl history. What shall the horrors do to patch their weak ss? RTM alice IPF torterrax of course! While individually every player on that list is pretty strong, the ability to push teams and activity is very dubious. RTM is the only player on that list known to tryhard the tier and expecting someone to carry your SS their first outing was a pretty dubious call. They got fairly good SM in Squirtell ToastedBunzzzzz and dez for ORAS. BW was between doc numbers or pa which Dire but who knows! (Everyone, everyone knew this would not pan out)

It is pretty concerning tho that on a team whose strongsuit is supposed to be oldgens that they only pick up one win, albeit, raduoat did luck squirtell.
week 2 wuh oh. That ss promise? Gone. They lose all 3 games but at least their old gens were able to pick up 3 wins. Maybe still doable??? The cracks really begin to show this week. Their oldgens are far from what they need to be to account for the ss and it's looking like bw is just gonna be an auto-loss tier.
week 3 and whoops they got punched in the mouth again. for some reason they decided to put rtm bo7 over alice at least they finally slotted toasted. I don't feel much need to say anything other than this screen. TEAM WAS NOT WORKIN BROS.
week 4 is LOL. Neither james nor pa were capable of private messaging arai to send lu so they end up having to do a bunch of sub clownery. IPF gets act'd which is totally his fault but his team should've 100% made sure when he was scheduled for, the fact that james did not know IPF pushed back an hour until reading PB chat is fucking hilarious. pa finally wins a game, rtm beats crow in bo7 which is pretty quirky, and james defeats william leading him to mald about coinflip tier for the 13th time that afternoon. Outside of those 3 wins tho it's a blowout. It's pretty clear that horrors simply did not have the support core of the 3 teams they just played.
I think horrors ultimately was not drafted with a lot of foresight. James+PA just drafted whatever decent players they could get their hands on without addressing the issues they had as a pair. The ss unsurprisingly did not come together. The cope is that they had a pretty rough schedule but you shouldn't bank on having an easy schedule to train up the squad. The cord was supposedly fairly dead which is not shocking considering many on the LU are not known as the talkative type. Also, they ended up banking on 2022 romanian prep which is pretty hilarious.
