in fairness he was one of our best players towards the end of last season and the beginning of this season but all these injuries seem to have taken their toll. hopefully he'll pull through it because the combination of him, Colloccini and Krul were looking like an incredibly potent defensive unit, probably the best I've seen at this club in over a decade.
always disappointing to lose a game when you're 2-0 up, but if there's a positive to be taken from it it's that Cisse is having no difficulties adjusting to the premiership. 2 goals in his first 2 games thank you very much.
biggest game of the season for us next week so i'm hoping we can pick ourselves up. we're actually still looking pretty darn good for that top 6 finish when you look at our run-in...with all due respect, Norwich, West Brom, Swansea, Bolton and Wigan are all winnable games and if we can nick some points against the clubs around us (Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool) then anything's possible.
