No i mean how ashley young's cross/strike/shot hit two WBA defenders before going in. C'mon everyone knows how lucky Man utd get (especially in Fergie time), it's just a matter of time before somehow the ball gets stuck between Rooney's butt cheeks and he farts it into the net

also, mourinho finally realised that with the wealth of attacking talent he has, he would be better off pressing high up the pitch rather than defending deep. Very good game that i enjoyed a lot. just disappointed that the better team didn't get the result it deserves.
 
yes well when shots are fired across the box, they are hard to defend... that is sort of the point
and i dont see how united got luck when we lost ferdinand and vidic
 
speaking of barca, fabregas is finally a done deal it looks like. man, im almost glad that from now on it wont be every other article on every football site is about him leaving, 2 years of this shit and i think we all get tired of it. right now im just stalking fabregas twitter to see if he has anything to say

agree that its good to see mourinho be more aggressive, his attacking players are way too talented to be all reined in. el clasico suddenly looks a lot more entertaining like this.

Agreed.Plus in our game at britannia it looked as if the referee had been hired by Man Utd.Two penalties and two fouls and he's like 'play on.'
 
You're joking right? Lampard dived as usual and Torres airshot before falling over to cover the embarrassment. Terry was all over Shawcross every time they had a a set piece, so 6 of one half a dozen of the other........
 
Of the 4? penalty shouts the only totally legitimate one was when one of the Stoke defenders took out Torres' back leg just inside the area without getting the ball at all, although I've seen ones like the Lampard one given as well.
 
the officals at the united game wern't much better.. ammount of play ons for fouls on da gea and the ammount of wrong throw ins and corners/goal kicks was sort of funny

another funny stat. Man Utd had one shot on target against West Brom and 2 goals! Yes, they're THAT good.
and tbh, the only foul on de gea I've seen was when Shane Long used his elbow. other than that, he looked very timid when he came out to clear the ball.

They tried pressing high up the pitch in the first league 'el clasico' last season, and we all know how that turned out...

Aguero is fucking OP
He was great at Atletico, but fucking hell I didn't expect him to do this in his 30 min runout.
 
Aguero has an outstanding debut for Manchester City. Two goals and an assist in 30 minutes against Swansea. Maybe I'll buy him for Fantasy Football next.

Swansea gave it a go, but Man City were too good. Impressed with Swansea's goalkeeper despite them shipping four goals.
 
swansea have a solid keeper, holland #2 i believe. good start for the rich kids on the block. dzeko seems to have found his touch, he scored at the end of last season and has come out firing so far.

mancini started clichy over kolarov hmm.....neither are particularly reliable at the back so its a bit of a crapshoot. kolarov's free kicks, or clichy's pace?

I didn't know you got points for playing for a minute (Djourou)

I got 44 points this week (it says 35, but Suarez' bonus and Dzeko haven't been added yet); I don't actually know if it's good, but I'm kinda happy about that.
 
I'm on 62 atm, hopefully Yaya gets the bonus he deserves. Solid week though, except fucking kuyt and vidic sucking major ass. 0/1 compared to everyone else on my team getting 4/5/6+
 
I have 64 Points so far, but I could get a bit more than that if De Jong gets a point for the clean sheet, and maybe if Hart gets a bonus.
