2012/2013 Soccer/Football thread

Sad to know I'm the only one supporting him.

Also don't know if its a kid, on twitter he put pics of himself drinking some kind of alcohol or shit

how long was Cantona banned for for his kung-fu kick?
we all knew hazard was a bit of a tit already, if you remember his rediculous transfer showcase he made :P

Oh.. well.. i don't know anything about the teenagers in the UK. but i do NOT believe he kicked the ball boy on purpose as I am very positive he wanted to get the ball. This kind of reminded me about the Terry - Ferdinand incident. it was anton who provoked terry by telling something of his affair with wayne bridges ex and now the ball boy provoking hazard.

Cantona was banned for 6 months I think. Utd themselves banned him for the rest of the season.

Hazard could be looking at prison if the ballboy presses assault charges! I honestly don't think he went for the ballboy, but the media will lap it all up and make it as much of a story as possible!

In other news: Le Nouveau Chateau has confirmed the signing of Yoan Gouffran from Bordeaux. Monsieur Alain Pardeu will be pleased!

Bad performance tonight although the damage was done in the first leg.All of Chelsea's play came through the middle where Swansea easily handled it and whenever it went out wide the final ball was always poor.

About the ball boy kicking incident,I understand why Hazard did what he did.It wasn't right but I don't think Hazard was venting his frustration on that naughty little prick for timewasting;he was in too much of a hurry to get the ball and carry on with the game.I'm sure he just kicked the ball and that stupid kid rolled over clutching his side in the hopes of getting him in trouble/wasting more time.

He's not a kid. He's fucking 17. He's most likely older than 80% of the people in this thread calling him a kid.

Sky was showing footage of the cunt wasting time before the incident. Ballboys are there to try to limit time wasting. Instead the phaggot smothers the ball and acts like he was shot.

The red card was absolutely ridiculous and should be rescinded.

EDIT: He's OLDER than Luke Shaw (Southampton's first choice LB)

After watching about 15 minutes of the incident, I can say he (the ball boy) has learned well from Busquets.
Anyway the family said they're not taking it further to the police.

look at how he looks at the linesman and then complains to the referee when he sees that nothing's been given

he has what it takes to be a premier league footballer if he loses some weight

"A player who commits a cautionable or sending-off offence, either on or off the field of play, whether directed towards an opponent, a team-mate, the referee, an assistant referee or any other person, is disciplined according to the nature of the offence committed."

Yeah sorry but I think kicking someone deserves the card, whether or not he was trying to kick the ball or not, and no matter how much the kick actually hurt. You could say the same thing when someone commits a challenge when "they were trying to kick the ball".

^ no.

And of course he apologized in front of the cameras. That's damage control 101.

He's fine. Hazard is a god. Yes a prick even outside this incident. But a god.

Anybody have any idea how good all these French signings are irl? I've never even watched Ligue 1, so I'm in no position to comment. Hopefully they're half as good as they are on FIFA... then again, that's the game that'd have you believe that Agbonlahor is better than Messi, that 98% of all goals are scored in the 45th and 90th minutes, and that David Luiz is good.

lol'd hard

what Eden Hazard did was wrong but the ball boy is a cunt. no surprise though, he supports the same team as trash like akuchi after all.

fixed

the same team that knocked your shite out of the league cup and is now on the way to wembley

:doom:

Debuchy is France's first choice RB, hes solid and a good threat on the wing.

Sissoko is an up and coming player, hes been called to France lately and had a really good game vs Spain in what ended as a tie.

Havent seen much of Gouffran and no clue on Haidara, but M'Biwa is good and helped Montpellier win a championship.

Now look closely. Anybody who thinks Hazard didn't touch him needs an eye test.

Good man Hazard. He didn't kick him hard enough. I read about this before I saw it and thought it was just footballers being footballers, but that kid seriously deserved it. What a little shit.
