2012/2013 Soccer/Football thread

Don't think Song is coming back. Wenger doesn't want him back and there is no buy back clause. There is for Fabregas though... And Wenger loved him like a son, went to watch him in every youth game, I think he'd take Fabregas back anyday and so would I!

Fabregas + Cazorla + Wilshere would be a dream midfield. And here's hoping Frimpong improves and impresses Wenger enough in pre-season to start easing into the team. It's been too long, I'd love to see him finally play.

@Dcae: What? Fabregas was one of the best players Arsenal ever had! And he's humble and not big headed.

I don't like the character Fabregas has become, and he really isn't that great. I don't know if I would weld me him back with open arms.

What if Madrid pulls the title out. Lead has been cut to 7 points with three games to go, and Barca is crumbling this second half of season. The 7-0 smashing really hurt their confidence, I see them dropping more points, though I can't honestly see them losing.

Huh? The lead is 11 points with 4 games to go lol. Don't know what table you've been looking at, but Barcelona basically have this title wrapped up already.

i swear every arsenal fan ive seen thinks jovetic will go to their club rofl

if jovetic leaves fiorentina: a) it will cost a fuckton and we know arsenal's way to use the market b) it will be to a team with better current situation, which means not arsenal, ESPECIALLY if they dont get UCL football

risqfy
lol

Lol Jovetic is definitely not coming to Arsenal. He's either going to City or staying at Fiorentina. I was only kidding with my last post, I wish Jovetic would come over, but let's be honest, defense is a bigger problem than attack for me with this Arsenal squad, not necessarily with the defenders, but with the midfielders.

Luiz needs to look in a mirror with that reaction though, pathetic.

Rafael was frustrated because they were losing and lashed out after he got tricked by a centre back...... That ,my friend, is pathetic. And the look on Luiz's face was justified. It's the same way I feel when some loser rage quits on me in FIFA when I score 2 goals in the opening ten minutes.

he was lay on the floor grinning like a cheshire cat, is this a normal reaction to being kicked, no
Rafael barely touched him. nothing to do with bias, its just pathetic behaviour doesnt matter who it is against who, my opinion would be the same.

no problem TML

hoping real sociedad win today, they deserve the last ucl spot so badly. also hoping arsenal arent asses and buyback vela, hes so happy right now and its clear he can only do well where hes happy

Rafael was obviously carded for intent, not for the seriousness of the injury. My guess is David Luiz was laughing because Rafael was stupid enough to foul him in front of a linesman.

I'd be laughing too if a teammate of mine fouled me during a club match in that situation.

We all know Luiz to be a funny and laughing type of character. Big deal.

can brentford stop throwing away 2 goal leads in the playoffs...i swear if this goes to penalties i will cry

No worries. Yeovil v Brentford in the final. Whichever ones goes up I can see them being strong favourites to go straight back down.

It pains me to say it but yeah, with one of the smallest budgets in league 1 already, the championship is probably a step too far. Who knows though, we may as well try!

Surprised those 2 teams got that far. tough opposition in that league.

Luiz reacton was about a jibe apparantly, something like this :P
