Speaking of Dragons, the vocalist is amazing.
 
Fragrant World by Yeasayer is out in less than 10 days which is exiting, I have been impressed by both the tracks they released before the full album (Henrietta and Longevity), so I am very exited to listen to the full thing.

So am I. I only recently had my first listen to their 2010 album Odd Blood (listening to it right now, too!), and damn, it's good. My father found and early leak somewhere and said he didn't like it, but then again he couldn't sit through Odd Blood either.
 
i actually just listened to yo la tengo for the first time like a week ago and felt really sad about how many beautiful days i'd wasted by not spending them listening to yo la tengo
 
I had no internet for like a week but it's ok because I got it back in time for the new Why? EP which is pretty good but not stellar
the title track is the only real standout but some others (Shag Carpet and For Someone) are p. good
Looking forward to new album come fall

not very happy with the new why

but then again it took me a couple months to not hate eskimo snow and it's now my favourite album of his, so i'm not too worried

ahhh I sure hope it is good though. I have been in need of some new Yeasayer for a while now. Odd Blood is such an amazing album.

They featured Fragrant World on the radio over here in aus, but I lucked out and only got to hear a couple of tracks though
 
One album I've enjoyed released in 2012 is What We Saw From the Cheap Seats. Regina Spektor's still awesome. On the topic of Gossamer I thought it was alright. I really liked 2 or 3 of the songs but the rest were good but not memorable. Sounded like they sorta recycled the same sound after a few songs. Still pretty good though overall.

Also are there any K.Flay fans here?
