2012 music

The French electronic music producer Uppermost released a free album today, and I would definitely suggest it if you are into chill electronic music. The album has few stand-out tracks, but on the whole is a very pleasant listen that flows nicely. Uppermost makes great use of samples, too.

My favourite song from the album is Beautiful Light, it has a great vibe, cool samples, and the vocals are really neat as well.

spaceghostpurrp's new mixtape dropped last night and it's one of the best hiphop releases this year

New Liquicity Yearmix just in, listen to it if you even remotely enjoy DnB and all its related genres, it's fantastic.

Unsurprisingly, LONG.LIVE.A$AP is garbage. He blew all his good material prior to the release. Ghetto Symphony and Angels are good tracks but overall its just weak lyrics over weak beats.

He is also name dropping designer brands like niggas in the hood give a fuck about Maison Martin Margiela or Raf Simmons.

Whoever was behind this album didn't know in which direction to take it. Instead of drawing on Rocky's alleged influences and making them his own, they just had him jack other people's flows and drop them on the shitty ambient beats.

Hopefully Ferg's release wont be as bad...

Banned deucer.
hes been namedropping raf simons, rick owens, maison martin margiela, jeremy scott, ETC in all of his previous works. I dont think this was a strong release, closer to mediocre, but i absolutely love 1 train and ghetto symphony. to say it was far off from anything hes released earlier is silly though.. its pretty much the same stuff

Not usually huge into pop but just listened to some songs by Cover Drive and really enjoying it... She has an amazing voice, put over some agreeable chord progressions and a half decent beat and I can already see a nice guilty pleasure of an album!

cant say
