liverpool are naturally set up to beat the big teams provided gerrard plays well. you guys have man city and chelsea still to play at home right? i think those results will determine the title to be honest, and if either city or chelsea can get a win there then i'd make them favourites. could have swapped arsenal for hull and man u for west ham and i wouldn't have noticed anything. a very dour match.

newcastle's season ended at the end of january so it is great to see all the players on holiday and taking it easy. ps tottenham were not good. three of their goals were assisted by krul due to his terrible parrying and two donkey center backs

Man u vs Arseanl was a tense game all the way through, what about the schezney save off the RVP header tho. That was amazing reflex keeping.

Kinda sad that 2 games were called off, but I understand the weather in the UK is awful atm.

GERRARRRRRRD!!!!!!!!! I tuned in at school at 78 minutes to a depressing story, but I absolutely marked out at 89 minutes when the penalty was given. Almost as intense as the Shield vs Wyatts thing going on :O

I really hope Kagawa leaves United in the summer. The guy is way too good to be behind the likes of Young and Valencia and he is a much better #10 than rooney.
Mata might have 3 assist since joining United but haven't played anywhere close to his standards he has set over the last two years, and now with rooney back in the squad Moyes is now playing him out wide.

United need to get rid of either moyes or rooney.

Arsenal really need someone like Mandzukic or Hernandez who can compliment Ozil. At the moment the Ozil and Giroud partnership reminds me of the Gomez-Ozil partnership in Euro12. Gomez scored goals but ozil was poor and then Loew decided to use Klose and then all of a sudden Ozil showed why he was one of the best in his position.

Winning the title would be an overachievement for us. Top 3 is much more realistic.
In the summer, I hope we go for Luke Shaw and 2 strikers, providing Eto'o, Ba and possibly Lukaku leave. (Many rumours that he will)

Arsene Wenger is going to really regret not bringing in reinforcements. It's pretty sad how his only signing was someone who he can't even use immediately. You can tell on the pitch that the team just isn't as sharp as they were in the beginning of the season. I feel as though there is gonna be a run of poor showings from Arsenal.

Stamina man. Stamina. It was obvious that it would show up. No one wants to slash in and make something happen except for a few, and at random moments.

Ramsey is the key. He's feisty.

i know this is a complete 360 (i know it's 180 *troll face*) over what i've been posting over the last couple of pages but i've been enjoying mourinho's comments over the last week

no moaning about referees after the west brom draw and his winding up of pelligrini was hilarious. and now he says that arsene wenger is a specialist in failure LOL

All of my friends who support united are praying that moyes gets sacked at the end of this season, which really he should is he doesn't get even in the top 5. I also agree kagawa (and nani) are far too skilled to be sitting on the bench all year and would really shine at another club. And I hope to god that Rooney doesn't come to chelsea (as a chelsea fan). Idc if we need another striker, just not rooney PLEASE.

Also I'm concerned for Arsenal that when Ramsey comes back he will no longer be in form. I mean that'll be 2 months out, that's a bloody long time. He was in the form of his life before, who knows what he'll be like in a few weeks when he comes back.

When Chelsea tried to sign Rooney, I too was against it. But when Mata was sold, all the Manchester United fans were teasing me about it as if they had stolen Messi from Barcelona by activating his release clause. They were so excited about acquiring him that they conveniently ignored the fact that unlike in the past two seasons, he hadn't been a regular starter and rightly so because ( in Mourinho's defense, ) he hadn't performed very well. So, signing Rooney would be real a kick to the balls for them since he is much more central to the success of their campaign than Mata was to that of ours. That being said, I don't think it'll happen.

I feel as though although Mata was quite a good signing, there seems to be a problem (in my opinion). Where are you gonna play him? His favorite position is obviously sitting behind the striker, but Rooney likes that position as well. Mata really doesn't want to spread out, and Rooney isn't going to either. You could play like a 4-4-2 (which is what I think they used against Arsenal) but really, I don't think it is really gonna work for them. So yes, Mata is a great player and all, but is he REALLY what they needed?

Rooney would not be worth the amount of money we would have to pay for him, never mind the amount of wages he is on atm and what he is going to be on(If he signs this reported contract).

I would prefer if we went and got a good striker like Costa or Martinez(Porto) along with Lukaku for next season.

Yes I would really like costa. Then we pray to god that he doesn't hit the kind of form torres is in. Especially if eto is spending one season only at chelsea. PLEASE mourinho give lukaku one more chance tho, that guy is actually really good.

Also Kinneas that's a bit scary am I missing something?

try reading the FM forums United thread, they think Nani is our best winger.... no wonder we cant win with wingers if that is the case.

Chelsea's performance was as poor as they get but city stepped up and played better in every aspect.

Ramires and Luiz should get a special mention in regards to their performances.

What else did you expect ? Mikel was playing and Lampard was rested. As if we came with an intention to take it to penalties....

man city would look really better if they had aguero and fernandinho

dzeko and javi garcia are not good enough to paly for a team with 'quadruple' aspirations

Nani is abysmal, that is what he is telling you.
He's really not. He's got a lot of skill, and seriously he's better than ashley young whose only redeemable talent is his diving skills :P

And yes Man City really need aguero, they have like 3 good replacement strikers, but none of them even compare to aguero.
