man city really need to stop qualifying for the CL. embarrassing

felt like watching barca vs almeria. barca almost coasted through the match, never bothered to step into high gear and still won 0-2 away

That's a bit harsh. City did well up until the penalty and the red card. Barca was always going to have the majority of the possession which was due to the world class combo of Busquets and Xavi.

On the PSG v Bayer match: Everyone is going to talk about Ibra(and rightly so) but Verratti should get a mention. He completely dominated the midfield.

Don't remember who it is but didn't someone in this thread say that Bale is better than Ibra. LoL.

this is the same bayer leverkuzen side that lost 0-5 at home to MOYES manchester united

still not convinced by ibra

In fairness it's all over, City played for the 0-0 and got unlucky. Barca don't have a big enough lead where they'll be complacent, they'll kill the game at home and City are out.

Bayern Munich record since they last played Arsenal:
WWWWWWWWWLWWWWWWWWWWWDWWWWWWWDWWWLWWWWWWWWWWWWDWWWWWWWWWW.

Oh this looks promising.

rage so much rage, cazorla should have been on that penalty. sanogo is amazing tho.

edit: lol ref, yellow plz

Özil needed to come off, not Cazorla.

Arsenal had the game, the huge opportunity, had the chances, but in the end..we are who we are.

Really disappointing.

and thats £25.35 won on my accumulator for Barca, Athletico and Munich, shame I didn't chuck PSG in.
nothing more pleasing then city losing and winning money from it.

If he is even half as smart as his on-field performances suggest, he will promptly reject any approach from Manchester United regardless of the wages Bayern are prepared to pay him.

No, dude, he wants to go from FC Bayern Munich managed by Pep Guardiola, first in the Bundesliga by 16 points to Manchester United, managed by David Moyes who lie in 7th spot.

Remind me to not watch Arsenal games, utter tripe. I hope Ozil never takes a penalty again, unbelievable.

And I still don't understand the last goalscoring chance rule, I mean if Robben hits that in the net and the goalie clatters him then he just gets up and celebrates his goal, if the ball doesn't hit the net then he rolls around and it's a red card and suspension for the keeper and it costs a substitution and most likely a goal from the penalty... And that rule was only brought in to stop cynical fouls like tugging back a player and making them fall when they've gone past you and are through on goal. I really do hope they change it, yellow and a penalty seems like decent enough punishment, and keep reds just for dangerous or cynical fouls.

And Wilshere is a shadow of his former self, his former 17 year old self that is. We've gone from having too much attack (RVP + Fabregas) and shit at the back (Djourou + Squillacci) to having a great back 2 and absolutely nothing up front. Ozil never shoots or runs now, lately he's like Berbatov but doesn't shoot!!! So what do you have then!!!!!

In fairness the Muller goal was unreal, Pizarro and Muller moved together perfectly and it was easy for Lahm to lift it in - impossible to defend and a perfect goal really. First one was a sweet strike but they're a dime a dozen these days.

ps: mandukic fouled koscielny AND was doing so from an offside position on the play culminating in szczesney's sending off.

.cryhard

Oh yes lets give the player all the power! If Kroos leaves then it is his loss for sure, fine he is great but Bayern will still be the best around with kroos there or not. Every team in the world is a step down right now.
Kroos has the power though. He is worth around 40 mil and earning 4.5 mil per year. He wants around 7-10 mil per year. If bayern get rid of him then they are going to have to spend a lot to bring in some close to kroos in quality and will have to pay more in wages.

I will just quote from an article that sums it up.
"Bayern will either submit to Kroos's demands or risk swapping a fan favorite and cornerstone of the club's future image for a replacement who simply could not offer the same qualities and abilities as Kroos, despite in all likelihood costing more."

It wasn't just the goal. It's the way he controls the tempo of the game. Retains possession and always in space to get the pass. He is one of the best Midfielders in the world atm and just 24.
There is a reason United, Chelsea, Juventus, along with other big clubs want him.

He made 150+ passes today and completed 97% of them.
