For me, Chris Foy was excellent. He set the tone in the opening four minutes by giving Baker a yellow card for a foul that really did not deserve a booking. From that moment on, there was no turning back, every mistimed tackle similar to the Baker one had to be booked in order for Chris Foy to be consistent throughout the whole match. The Matic handball goal was correctly chalked off and very impressively by the linesman. Looked like a very difficult handball to spot but he managed to get the decision right. The Willian foul that led to his second yellow card would not really merit a booking usually, but again, Chris Foy was very consistent with his decisions and yellow carded Willian just like any other player that would have committed a similar foul.
Overall, the match wasn't very enjoyable because the referee blew his whistle too many times to stop the play but he was very consistent and got all the big decisions right.
SuperScizor, I'm glad you feel hard done by the referee. This way you know how every team that Chelsea face feel at the final whistle.
