I feel like Beto's campaign was too focused on collecting S-K-A-T-E. If he was more concerned with locating the secret tapes, maybe it would have gone differently.

Way to introduce a bad bad regressive way to fund Medicare for All just for political convenience and then disable comments. Over half Dislikes for this "progressive" candidate is already hilarious, but even while Joe Biden was getting flogged with over 70% dislikes on his campaign launch ad, at least as a candidate for public office he had the guts to open himself up to the public flogging of the Youtube commentary.

Mayor Pete with strong showings in Iowa and NH polls. He was trending downwards but he’s blown up in a big way the past few weeks. Interesting how these things play out.

I think it's great that there is a rich media environment, and rich environment of political creators even on just Left YouTube. I used to follow David Pakman-- I don't anymore because I dislike his biases on Israel/Palestine and tendency to often just give facts without personal analysis. I don't watch MCSC anymore because the inability to deal with Tulsi's flaws is pretty ridiculous. I don't watch a whole lot of Tim Black despite that I think he's right on just about everything I hear him talk about because I'm just not too into his style. There's lots of options to choose from, and people who have audiences get those audiences because there is a demand for their style-- Krystal's personally works for me.

Yeah, it's actually pretty bothersome that he's doing so well in the early states right now... it's troubling. Fortunately, his support is a bit squishy (only 37%-ish supporters say they are DEFINITELY caucusing for him in Iowa compared to the strongest, 60% for Bernie) but those types of numbers definitely make any anti-Pete voter uncomfortable...

Anyway, the only candidate I can support is Bernie Sanders. I don't vote for politicians who sell out to the likes of Big Pharma or the Military-Industrial Complex (e.g. Biden, Booker, Buttigieg, Klobuchar), and I don't trust Elizabeth Warren to stay away from them. I could potentially vote for Tulsi Gabbard without wanting to drink a gallon of bleach afterward, but I still prefer Bernie over her (I think she'd be a great VP, at least). As for Andrew Yang... I like his UBI proposal, but I don't know what to make of him otherwise.

Whelp with Harris our the field grows narrower, and maybe other candidates will follow suit. At least this helps make things more interesting to see what candidates pull those who would have voted for her.
Warren's explosion began after kamala's toppling, so I would expect 99% of (remaining) supporters to go to either her or pete
That's what I would predict too, but didn't want to make any assumptions and wanted to allow for some fluctuation within that for voters.
My guess: by the time we get to Iowa we’ll be down to Biden, Sanders, Warren, Mayor Pete, Yang, Bloomberg, Steyer, Williamson and Gabbard actually on ballots as options. Basically, the top four (maybe too five if Klobuchur hangs in) politicians, the three outsiders, and the two self-funded guys will make it to the start of primary season.

Tulsi's policies on paper are some of the best in the field (Australia-care > Public Option + IOU to do M4All 3 years later Warren...), but I can't stand her willingness in front of right-wing audiences to belittle progressives, anti-imperialism, the coalitions of the left while making her message of service/patriotism sound like pure nationalism for conservative ears (Rave Dubin). I think she's disqualified herself from being, in Bernie's words regarding his VP: "A woman, younger than me, who can carry the progressive banner boldly and unapologetically across the country."
As a Tulsi Donor, I think I got my return on investment of $25 by seeing Kamala crash. I'd like to see her shoot down Buttegieg too, but anything she can do before going out is just gravy. If Bernie wants to add her to his cabinet somewhere I'd be cool with it, but wouldn't be egging him on to do so.
With Yang, I appreciate much of the spirit of his campaign, but don't appreciate that the guy has policies for getting Money out of Politics, but not PROMISES for no money in his politics. The only guy to have a super pac before Joe Biden, and zero promises about not taking lobbyist/special interest money. Yeah no, I don't care what your policies are (and spoiler, they aren't actually very progressive). While game recognizes game, we have fundamentally different politics.
As a Yang donor, I feel I've already got my return on investment-- people are more activated on automation and de-industrialization, know about UBI, and in general are thinking more about how government initiatives are actually a BOON to small business/entrapreneurship. He even put out a good argument on drugs. I've got what I wanted from my $15.
With Warren I understand very much the progressive disgust to what she's doing in the campaign and how she's playing with the party, and yes I'm glad to see her nosediving by screwing up Medicare for All-- but guys we got to remember the Super Delegates. It may very well be the case that going into the convention the only way to keep them out of the game is to form a Bernie-Warren or Warren-Bernie ticket. If that is the only way to keep the super delegates out, I think Progressives should take it... and Justice Dems/Brand New Congress/etc. should think about how to replace 2 Senators sooner rather than later.
Buttegieg is really the one we need to kill, and if he, Cory, Klobuchar, and Castro all follow him out the door, then we are looking at a potential situation where even if Biden survives and tops the field, Bernie + Warren can grab the majority and scoop this thing before it goes to a second round. I don’t trust Warren, but I trust that between the choice of losing to her nemesis Biden or letting super delegates decide, and forming a ticket with Bernie, she’ll choose Bernie.
Pretty much. Though again, I hope much of it goes to Warren-- and I think much of Kamala's feminist base, will. And I hope that for the reason mentioned above; that Bernie voters still have to keep in mind that a Bernie-Warren alliance might become our only out against super delegates, so we should still cheer Warren > Buttegieg.
Sounds right-- though Williamson is still in? I had no idea. Regardless, Yang, Gabbard, and Williamson will not get enough votes to win delegates. In the 2nd round of the Iowa Caucus, to be real, all those Caucusers are likely going to Bernie. Biden and Buttegieg split up Klobuchar/Steyer's, while Bloomberg really isn't even in this. I don't see any of those 3rd tier caucusers go to Warren.
Seeing HRC jump in would be amazing and hilarious. Hope it happens.

There is no candidate for Utopia in this race... but if you actually believe in "Imagine no more countries -> Living life in Peace." or "Imagine no Possessions -> A Brotherhood of Man, Sharing all the World."
Then you should believe in Medicare for All, A Jobs Guarantee, and most of all a Green New Deal that transforms the country and acknowledges the history of Colonialism/Imperialism in offering other countries so much foreign aid for Green Energy Industrialization that we eliminate 140% of our carbon footprint. Change your platform to agree with Bernie's policies, or drop out and endorse Bernie-- the real candidate of "Imagine," the song Lennon wrote to explain Socialism's ideals to working people.
