Hello, all! Welcome to the semifinals of the CAP 31 Playtest!

Pairings:

D2TheW  vs  Career Ended
adem  vs  Da Pizza Man

Rules:
  • This is a standard [Gen 8] CAP tournament.
  • The format is best of three, single elimination.
  • Changing teams in between matches is allowed.
  • You are required to post your replays.
  • All Smogon tournament rules apply.
  • Any change in tiering will not take effect until the following round.
  • Matches must be played on Pokemon Showdown or Smogtours.
  • Please use this guide while scheduling with your opponent.

3rd: 8
4-6: 6
7-12: 4
13-24: 2
25-48: 1

The deadline for Round 3 is Sunday, August 14th at 11:59pm GMT-4. Extensions from last week have a deadline of Tuesday, August 9nd at 11:59 PM GMT -4.

gonna get some predicts in cause I haven't done them in a long time!

crying vs. Amamama - Ama has had a better than usual run this tour, but crying is their strongest opponent yet, and I think crying takes it in two.
Dj Breloominati♬  vs  crying - definitely the highlight match of semis, I think this one is going to three no matter what way you look at it. I'll pull for best girl crying to win by a hair.
D2TheW  vs  Career Ended - D2 continues his streak of winning in individuals but never in team tours. Career Ended is no roll over, however, and I fully expect this one to go the distance.
adem  vs  Da Pizza Man - Definitely the two biggest surprises of the tour, neither adem nor DPM were expected to make it this far. adem has been on a hot streak as of late, so I think he'll pull ahead in this one.
 
Don't really wanna do this but I don't have all night
Calling act ig, it's been over 30 minutes since scheduled time and oppo is a no show. They said they might be a bit late which is fine but their acc shows they've been online within the last half hour and they've not communicated when they'll be able to play.
