5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

That only shows other frames on the same seed, not other seeds. Are you catching or breeding?

I'm aiming for a near-flawless shiny snivy with the eggmove glare and HP fire. The parents include:

Snivy (male, with everstone): 31/17/30/30/31/30
Ditto (Japanese): 31/31/31/31/31/31/

The seed I'm trying to hit is:

Seed: 9C1444B432A69378 Frame: 267 PID: 00EAEC5A (2nd window)
Frame: 19509 IVs: 31/30/27/30/31/30 (first window)

The seed I keep hitting is:

Male, timid with perfect IVs in HP/ Atk & Spe

ok so to do this I c&ping the full seed into the main window and having the method set to Gen 5 PIDRING then clicking "Calculate Initial PIDRING Frame" or do I click Generate?

You can't see adjacent seeds for breeding, so you'll just have to keep trying to hit it. If you consistently hit the wrong seed, you might want to try redoing your parameters.

Also, where exactly is that frame 19509 coming from? That seems a little strange.

Calculate initial PIDRNG frame. Generate will show you the individual frames in case you need to find it manually, but there's no moving NPCs in Volcarona's room so you shouldn't need to worry about that right now. Anyway, say it tells you that your starting frame is 53. Then you would need to do 102-53=49 Chatot advances.

Ok so I did that I have to do 56 chatot advances so I used 2 chatots and scrolled between them so I could make it go a bit faster, but when I did it still wasn't shiny and it's nature was still randomised so what could I be wrong?

Did you record a custom Chatter? And was it the same nature and gender as before?

Yep, the chatter was custom and it was a different nature and gender than before

I already recently redone my parameters. Here are screen shots showing the seed etc:

All right, that second image is just coincidence, you can ignore it. Also, you shouldn't get 0 or 2 actual seconds, so something else must have gone wrong.

What do you mean by coincidence? Anyway, that's what I got when I did my parameters. I suppose it won't hurt to do my parameters for a 3rd, 4th or even a 5th time.

I mean, your filters were broad enough that it matched all of them, but you didn't actually hit that frame.

wish I knew, since I've just done it twice now and the IV's were correct, but the nature was Timid once (that's the nature I'm after) and the othe rtime it was Naughty, both times it was male and both time's it was non-shiny, the one I'm trying to generate is a Shiny Female Timid Volcarona with 30, 14, 26, 30, 31, 30 IV's, the initial frame accoridng to the "Calculate Initial PIDRNG Frame" is 46 and the Nearby Shiny is 102, so that's 56 Chatot advances I need to do , and even though I do 56 Chatot Advances I'm still not getting the shinyness, gender and nature I'm trying to get

I think I have hit it a couple of times now although I'd be more sure if I could hit my seed more often to check

The filters, the ones on the main window of RNG Reporter where you plugged in the IVs you were searching for.

But you don't have to worry about your IV frame, since you don't need to advance it. Basically what you do now is deposit the parents, generate the egg, save in front of the man, and hit your seed. Then you need to find your Shifted Starting frame (because of the NPCs). Once you find it, advance the PID frame accordingly and you should have your shiny egg.

The main window is the only window that is open when you first start the program.
