5th Gen PRNG Help / Info - Latest: RNG Reporter 9.96.5, PPRNG 1.15.0

Aw shit! Damn, I was really looking forward to getting a Shiny one.

Ah well, thanks for the help anyway.

You can knock it out and then RNG it at the E4 for shininess, I know that is possible, though I don't know exactly when you need to do it.

yes i did it in elite 4.but you cant rng IVs there only pid.(cuz the battle with the champion advance the IV frames)
kill it and save near the champion and then rng.use chatot pitches to verify ur seed.also the roamer pid frame automatically advance by 6 when battling the champ.so do 6 less than ur target frame
Roamer Information
    • Although it is possible to RNG a shiny Roamer with the Elite Four, it will not let you get IVs
      • Battling with the Champion increases the PIDRNG frame by 6, the Roamer is then generated at the Hall of Fame Machine.

(well in my case it was a different number ,not 6.maybe it was and i miscount ,cant remember it)

try it and if you didnt get ur target frame, catch it with master ball or something and check which frame was that.reset without saving, kill it then repeat.this time adjusting the number of advancements.

i recommend getting a higher frame like 115 or something so you can verify the seed correctly using chatot pitches without over advancing.(well thats me,if you are very good with pitch identifying choose a lower frame)
good luck... :D

Would it be a good idea to run around until empty hollows are filled, in case they fill while you're checking hollows if they're open? I forgot and picked up the item in Sangi Ranch.

Edit: it refilled while I was checking. There's 0 before my target hollow. Is the number of open hollows counting your target hollow?

I guess a bunch of people just go check out other hollows, then come back and check the first one, and so on, until they fill up. Bond697 also made an AR code for filling the hollows.

Yes. If you haven't been to Abundant Shrine yet do not battle any of the trainers until you go to RNG it. That will stop them from advancing the PIDRNG. I believe you can call down Landorus with the two roamers, leave, then come back without them and he will still be there.

Yes you can. And there is only one NPC who advances the PID anyway, so it's easy to adjust if you've already gone and battled them.

Yes it is. I'm assuming you plan on RNGing it?

Indeed I am.

Good to know. I am at the shrine as we speak. I haven't battled anyone in the shrine yet.

Which one is that? Is that trainer with orange clothing? Do I battle him or not?

The last trainer of you're heading in, I don't recall what he's wearing. But he's the only one that advances the PIDRNG. Don't battle him until you're ready to RNG Landorus.

I am fully ready to Battle(RNG Landorus). Landorus is patiently waiting infront of the shrine right now.

After I battle the trainer, I do my Chatot Chatters, then talk to Landorus, right?

Precisely. Save after you battle the trainer, though.

Alright, thanks, hope this works. My starting frame is 43 and my shiny frame is 70, so I'll need 27 chatot pitches.

How much does he advance the frame by though?

The kid? Depends on how long you wait to go into your bag, but generally it'll be plus two or four. If you battle him before you go to RNG Landorus, it doesn't matter, because until you leave the area he is effectively frozen in place, and cannot advance the PIDRNG.

Alright, battled the kid, saved infront of Landorus, now going to re-do the calibration process, and will add two when I start up the game.

Hope this works, thanks for your help!

Why are you adding two? There isn't anything that advances the PIDRNG now that you've battled him. When I said two or four I assumed you were asking in the case that he'd already been battled at a previous point, and you had to deal with him. If you battled him just do twenty-seven chatters.

There is a woman just out of screen who advances it, and there are also two girls further down the route who are WNPCs, but I don't recall if they advance it or not. The Pokemon in the fenced in area don't advance your frame. As for how many frames get advanced by the NPCs, it varies, and depends on fast you load your menu. On my game it's almost always a +2 advance, but for other people it'll vary.

So assuming it advances twice on mine I do two less Chatters right?

Also when RNGing eggs; Can we only create Eggs that have three IV stats inherited from their Parents? I was hoping to hatch a Gastly with 31/xx/31/31/31/31.

Yes. I suggest doing 1 chatter after you hit your seed to figure out your shifted starting frame. Then collect the egg. Go to victory road and immediately catch a wild pokemon. Check its iv range using pokedex iv checker, and on the main window of rng reporter on the dropdown, select GEN V IVs standard seed. Set starting frame to 14. Look at frames 14-20 and compare. Did your caught pokemon in victory road match any of the frames generated? If yes, proceed to hatch the egg. Determine the nature, and/or gender. Go back to rng reporter set to Breeding BW on the dropdown. Look for the nature you hit, it is recommended you look at pidrng frames 50-60 (but it can be lower). Did you find your nature? Then use this formula [(Target frame - Shifted starting frame)+1]. We add 1 since we did 1 chatter last time.

Yes, iirc. As i've been told, 3 come from ivrng, while the 3 come from parents. I recommend you breed a parent with 3 31 ivs first if they [the parents] don't have hexflawless stats. Then just proceed to breed another parent with 6 31 ivs. Do the process to the other parent if you're not using ditto or if you're going for a shiny dream world pokemon to make seed searching much easier to generate results.

Hey, I would like some help on mystery card seeds with PPRNG, I'm having a little bit of trouble.

I also have no idea how to start trying to find a seed for my Tornadus on my Black game with PPRNG, if someone could help me out with these things that would be awesome.
