Marcellus snatches back some health from Vexen with a Mega Drain, but grass-on-grass cannibalism is not a lucrative business. The Cottonee isn’t the only one with a terrible offensive movepool, though, and Marluxia counters with an Energy Ball that tickles Snorri’s nonexistent nose. Snorri, blessed with an actually useful STAB, freezes the offending vegetables with an Icy Wind, lowering their speed, but Vexen does The Exact Same Thing, making the speed drops fairly pointless.
Marcellus and Marluxia Razor Leaf their foes, doing absolutely jack shit, except I still have to calculate it. This is somewhat alleviated by the fact that Snorri’s Frost Breath on Marcellus has already been mostly calculated, so I don’t have to do it again, or even roll for random crits. That’s cool. Too bad I have to ref a combo, but the good thing is that a massive Blizzard + Blizzard combo just wrecked both pokemon for a double Ko, letting me end this one action faster.
Oh yeah. Hail damage also KO’d Marcellus. So much for friendship, Snorri, you jerk.
