While Alder ST did call for activity, they attempted to schedule times not in LpZ's availability; however, LpZ failed to respond further on Friday, so this matchup has been coinflipped.
???????
What? Why did they give the victory to LpZ? I offered to make an extension, but he didn't answer me, and I was the one who wrote on his wall, if I didn't have time, I could have offered him a solution as I told him or he would have written to me before

There is no way to flip a coin, for someone who does not want to answer or is interested in giving solutions, he could even give me options for an extension that is not necessarily on Monday :/

I'm going to be honest, this is an extremely sketchy flip call. There was an extension request after Alder called act, which implies there was some kind of off smogon scheduling (which I could very well be wrong about). Both parties clearly made an attempt at scheduling but it looks like there was not a ton of shared free time between when they were scheduling and the deadline. Again, could be wrong about this, but from an outsiders perspective the flip feels weird.

Coinflip was not the call here. If anything, I would've taken Alder asking for the extension in the conversation as asking for it here. They couldn't find a time to play and LpZ didn't respond to the extension match time. More than anything, we'd want games to be played and attempts were made to play and an extension was tried for.

re: Alder ST vs. LpZ

There wasn't any real agreement on when to play, and a player is not technically required to agree an extension. While an extension would have been an appropriate decision, a flip is also appropriate, and we are sticking to the host decision on flip. An act call would not have been appropriate, and it is too late to backtrack the flip decision. Any further questions you can DM me.
