Maybe also a quick mention of not using King's Shield vs Shadow Force, under usage tips. Ik it's mentioned in checks and counters but it doesn't hurt to reiterate this fact, and maybe add like Arceus and Ghost Arceus as potential users of this move as well.

Oh yeah one more thing under usage tips: status ie Will-O-Wisp also goes through King's Shield so be careful of that

Also in team options you want Ho-Oh checks as much as you want Primal Groudon checks, but mention nothing likes burns so Ho-Oh checks are all shaky to begin with

Also in usage tips I guess further note EQ /PBlades and Sacred Fire don't make contact so King's Shield doesn't lower their Attack, and against Ho-Oh you do want to still King's Shield to scout since CB is pretty common and Sub is less so, but be more wary vs PDon because it could set up.

Also lead into not using KShield too much because it can be predicted by saying somethjng like: KShield can be used for Lefties recovery, but don't use it too much because predictable etc.

Add SD+Shadow Sneak in OO, it is still kinda viable with the right support even with many top pokemon walling it, it is not that usable anymore but deserves a mention.

Despite this, Aegislash remains a solid choice to check Xerneas, Pursuit trap certain Pokemon for it's (don't mean to be offensive, but suggest you read up on the difference between 'it's' and 'its') team and be an all-around solid defensive wall.

King's Shield is definitely necessary, as it allows Aegislash to regain it's solid defensive stats, as well as help scout for moves. An added benefit is that it can drop an opposing Pokemon's attack if they use a contact move. Gyro Ball is the most powerful move Aegislash hascan use against offensive Xerneas; but Iron Head can be used for it's increased PP, and consistency without relying on speed, ands well as hits defensive Fairiy-types, such as Clefable harder. Toxic is used to spread consistent damage, as well as punish switch -ins. Pursuit is used to trap Pokemon such as Latias and Deoxys-aA, but can also help prevent team members from being sniped by Mega Gengar. If your team doesn't require Pursuit support, then Shadow Sneak can be used as priority, as well or as a method of killing weakened sweepers.

Set Details
========
A Sassy nature with 0 speed IVs is used so that Gyro Ball does maximum damage. Maximum Health Points and Special Defense are used so that Aegislash can fulfill it's primary purpose of checking Geomancy Xerneas. The remaining EvVs are thrown into Defense to help soften physical attacks. Leftovers are used so that Aegislash has a reliable method of recovering Health Points.

Usage Tips
========
Try not to switch in too aggressively against offensive Xerneas, as smart players will wear Aegislash down until it cannot check the Geomancy set.. (removed extra full stop) Liberally u Use Toxic liberally, as it is the only thing youmove Aegislash haves to punish switch-ins. Try not to take any hits in Blade forme, as it's defenses are very low. However, don't use King's Shield too often, as; if the opponent predicts it, then they receive a free turn. Also remember that kKing's sShield fails against sShadow fForce (capitalised move names), and its users of it will neither suffer the attack drop, nor willhave their attack be blocked. Status effects, especially burns, compromises Aegislash's ability to check Xerneas, and so it is best to avoided them. Try pursuit trapping the lLati twins, Mega Gengar and Deoxys-A, but be careful if the opponent has both a Xerneas and one or of the aforementioned threats.

Team Options
========
Clerics such as Xerneas and Clefable can help cure status effects for Aegislash, while Aegislash can pursuit trap threats like Mega Gengar for them. Clefable can also provide Wish support, while both Xerneas and Clefable can help check Yveltal for Aegislash. A solid Primal Groudon check is a must, as all Aegislash can do to punish it is to Toxic Primal Groudon on the switch in. Lugia and Ground Arceus can performboth take on this role, while Arceus-Ground can also do this, andalso being able to defog away hazards. Other options for hazard removal include Giratina-O and Tentacruel, while Mega Diancie's Magic Bounce ability can help prevent hazards going up altogether. Last but not least, remember that Aegislash is a utility Pokemon that should fit the needs of your team and so should not be built around.

Other Options
########
Aegislash is very specialized, and so does not have many alternative options that are viable .. (removed space before fullstop) Sacred Sword can be used to lure out Heatran and Ferrothorn, (RC) and 2HKO them. Head Smash can be used to lure and 1HKO hHo-oh, but has large recoil damage. Rock Slide is an alternative to Head Smash that comes without the recoil, but fails to OHKO Ho-Oh without rStealth Rocks up damage. A RestTalk set can be used,; however, the recovery is unreliable, and Aegislash sorely misses tToxic. Shadow Ball hits Mewtwo and Primal Groudon for decent damage. A Choice Specs set with Shadow Ball / Flash Cannon / Head Smash / Gyro Ball can be used for the surprise factor, as well as it's reasonable damage output.

Checks & Counters
########
**Fire Types**: Heatran is at the top of the list, as it only fears the rare Sacred Sword, but still can still outspeed and force out Aegislash. Primal Groudon hates Toxic, but takes Gyro GBalls very well, forces Aegislash out, and can set up Stealth Rock or Rock Polish and proceed to sweep. Ho-Oh is very similar to Primal Groudon, but has Regenerator and Roost to heal off Toxic damage, and cans well as being able to set up a Substitute as it forces Aegislash out. However, it needs to be wary of Rock Slide or Head Smash. (added fullstop)

**Poison Types**: Pokemon such as Poison Arceus and Tentacruel can burn you with Will-O-Wisp and Scald respectively. As these pPokemon are immune to tToxic, they can switch in and out without fearing any of Aegislash's moves. Poison Arceus can also burn throughAegislash while not being affected by King's Shield, due to Will-O-Wisp being a status move.

**Gliscor**: Gliscor doesn't mind Toxic due to it's ability Poison Heal, and has aits STAB Earthquake to force Aegislash out. Once Aegislash is forced out, Gliscor can use U-turn to gain momentum, or set up Stealth Rock. Gliscor has to be careful of U-turning, however, as it can receive an Attack drop from Kings's Shield.

**Dark Types**: Most Dark-types fear Toxic,; however, Dark Arceus can Refresh it off, and set up Calm Minds as it forces out Aegislash with the threat of a super effective
Judgement. Yveltal doesn't like Toxic either, but has Oblivion Wing to recover Health Points, and can Taunt Aegislash to prevent it using King's Shield again, or fire off a super effective Dark Pulse. Darkrai can take a Toxic if need be, but it's high speed means that it won't appreciate coming in on a gGyro bBall or a sSacred sSword. It does force Aegislash out, however, and can set up a Nasty Plot or a Substitute on the switch.

**Steel Types**: Ferrothorn is immune to Toxic, and only fears the rare Sacred Sword. It can set up hazards or sap away Aegislash's health with Leech Seed. Dialga also only fears nothing but Sacred Sword, and can force Aegislash out with the threat of a Fire Blast, anthen proceed theno set up Stealth Rock on the switch.

**Giratina-O**: Giratina-O doesn't like coming in on Toxic or Shadow bBall, but can hit Aegislash with aits super effective STAB Shadow Force, which can't be blocked by King's Shield.

i didnt see this in the GP queue when i was posting dialga, if you want GP checks post the analysis here and gp members will a) know its ready and b) check it when they get the time. it wont be noticed otherwise.
if its already there and its just not updated yet then mb.

I'm a bit crusty and old and out of the loop Ubers wise (especially on ORAS matters), but I think an important topic needs to be added to the overview.

I think the overview needs to emphasize that Aegislash is a defensive Pokemon in Ubers, not really a good offensive Pokemon.

It's SO tempting for most new people to go "omg look at those base 150 offenses, IM GONNA SWORDS DANCE / USE CRUMBLER!". As far as I know, this doesn't really work too well in Ubers. I know Swords Dance Aegislash is sorta a bust here due to Speed issues and nasty stuff like Primal Groudon, while Specially offensive suffers from being a worse Xerneas check.

So basically, in the overview, I think you should explain why Aegislash is better off going defensive in Ubers rather than offensive.

However, it needs to be wary of Rock Slide or Head Smash.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types such as Poison Arceus and Tentacruel can burn Aegislash with Will-O-Wisp and Scald respectively. As these Pokemon are immune to Toxic, they can switch in and out without fearing any of Aegislash's moves. Poison Arceus can also burn Aegislash while not being affected by King's Shield, due to Will-O-Wisp being a status move.

**Gliscor**: Gliscor doesn't mind Toxic due to its ability Poison Heal and has its STAB Earthquake to force Aegislash out. Once Aegislash is forced out, Gliscor can use U-turn to gain momentum or set up Stealth Rock. Gliscor has to be careful of U-turning right away, however, as it can receive an Attack drop from Kings's Shield.

**Dark-types**: Most Dark-types fear Toxic, (comma) but however, (RC) Dark Arceus can Refresh it off and set up Calm Mind as it forces out Aegislash with the threat of a super effective Judgement. Yveltal doesn't like Toxic either, but has Oblivion Wing to recover HP can Taunt Aegislash to prevent it from using King's Shield again, or fire off a super effective Dark Pulse. Darkrai can take a Toxic if need be, but its high Speed means that it won't appreciate coming in on a Gyro Ball or a Sacred Sword. It does force Aegislash out, however, and can set up a Nasty Plot or a Substitute on the switch.

**Steel-types**: Ferrothorn is immune to Toxic and only fears the rare Sacred Sword. It can set up entry hazards or sap Aegislash's health with Leech Seed. Dialga also fears nothing but Sacred Sword and can force Aegislash out with the threat of a Fire Blast, then proceed to set up Stealth Rock on the switch.

**Giratina-O**: Giratina-O doesn't like coming in on Toxic or Shadow Ball, but can hit Aegislash with its super effective STAB Shadow Force, which can't be blocked by King's Shield.
