Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Either there is a big bloody failure in the formula, or it doesn't need the 100 on the front. Losing 50% of your HP should really count for something and evidently it doesn't.
And I'm rather annoyed that you decided to forget the arena effect entirely until I reminded you, Dan.
@Alch, you also lost more than half your energy that round, which would have a similar impact as Honch losing half its health. Anyways, I haven't "decided to forget" the arena effect. That was the one round I had forgotten the arena affect, with the exception of one previous round, which I had fixed in minutes.
EDIT: I already had this full round reffed, but was unable to post it, before you had changed your actions.
Not wanting to leave Alexander in that tough position, Alch switches him out and decides to send out Christopher the Metagross. Brandon knows that this isn't a favourable match-up and decides to switch Nightstrike out for Flamestrike the Magmortar. Fearing the damage that Chris can do, Flamestrike decides to burn it with a Will-o-Wisp. It looks like his aim was off, as the flames drift off to Chris' side. Chris takes this time to unleash a Super Psychic attack, that deals some heavy damage to Flamestrike, but Chris used a lot of energy for that attack and is now needing to rest. Flamestrike takes this opportunity to take his time and aim carefully as he burns Chris with a second Will-o-Wisp. Now that his opponent is burned, Flamestrike begins to roast his steely foe with a powerful Flamethrower. Finally getting back to energy to move, Chris stays in exactly the same position and attacks with another Psychic, but Flamestrike is able to take the hit and prepares for some more action.
"Alright Flamestrike, this is going to be a rough ride, but let's take advantage of that Gravity! Endure to take that Earthquake, then Fire Blast twice to inflict some massive damage before you go down!"
Ready to Endure all of Christopher's attacks, Flamestrike braces himself as he gets rocked by an Earthquake. Flamestrike rises back up, only to be knocked back over by a second Earthquake. Flamestrike has had enough of this and he gets up and Blasts Chris with a wall of Fire, that engulfs the Metagross. Chris retaliates with a mental Confusion attack, before Flamestrike shrugs it off and launches a second Fire Blast at Chris.
"You've done great Flamestrike, just Mach Punch it for a teeny bit of extra damage before you go down. If he tries to chill then Flamethrower to finish it off!"
Summary: Mach Punch x3 If he uses chill replace action with Flamethrower
Knowing that Flamestrike is on the verge of collapsing, Christopher begins another mental assault, but Flamestrike is able to land a Mach Punch, just before fainting from the Confusion.
Brandon recalled his Magmortar, thanking him for yet another amazing performance. Then he grabbed another Pokeball, ready to release his newest fully-evolved Pokemon. "Alright, you're up Vinestrike!" A flash of red light, and a massive Venusaur stood in front of Brandon, ready to prove herself worthy.
Brandon calls back the KOed Flamestrike and decides that Vinestrike will battle with Chris. Not wasting any time, Brandon orders Vinestrike to channel his Hidden Power, as rings begin to form around Vinestrike, then launch towards Chris, knocking him out. The score is now tied at 4 apiece, as Alchemator sends out his next Pokemon.
Hidden Power - [7+(5-4)x1.5]x1.5 = [13 Damage] [5 Energy]
"Great start Vinestrike, now here comes the real challenge! Start with a Toxic for that extra damage, then follow up with a Venoshock to really lay the hurt on her! Finish off with a SolarBeam for good measure! If she isn't poisoned action two, use SolarBeam there instead and finish up with a second Toxic!"
Summary: Toxic -> Venoshock -> SolarBeam If Girafarig isn't poisoned A2 actions 2 and 3 become SolarBeam -> Toxic
Alchemator sends out Anna the Girafirig to battle Vinestrike. Vinestrike kicks things off by release a cloud of Toxic gas that floats towards Anna, but Anna is prepared and the gas simply bounces off her Magic Coat, back towards Vinestrike, who absorbs the gas. Since that didn't work Vinestrike decides to go on the offensive and begins to absorb the suns rays for a SolarBeam. The only problem is, we're inside and can't see the sun! Anna takes advantage of this mistake and attacks with a Psychic. Vinestrike is looking confused and doesn't know what strategy to use, so she again tries to poison Anna with Toxic, only to have it bounce off of her Magic Coat and to be reabsorbed.
Psychic ~ Psybeam ~ Psychic. If he ever uses Sleep Powder, replace the current action with Magic Coat. Note that this isn't if he only orders the move.
Brandon cursed at himself for his stupidity, trying to use SolarBeam indoors. "Well Vinestrike, we need to catch up. Start with a Toxic, then Venoshock! Finish off with a Leech Seed to help get some health back!"
Not wanting to make any more mistakes like last round, Vinestrike unleashes another cloud of Toxic gas. This time is engulfs Anna, badly poisoning her. Vinestrike takes this opportunity to amplify the toxins with a Venoshock! Anna retaliates with a powerful Psychic attack followed by a Psybeam. Vinestrike shrugs off the attacks and she flings Seeds onto Anna, and they begin to Leech away her life. Anna won't stop now though, and she unleashes another Psychic that rocks Vinestrike.
You're doing great Vinestrike, keep it up! Venoshock, follow that up with a Giga Drain, and finish off with another Venoshock! If he tries to use Psychic, put him to sleep with a Sleep Powder that is guaranteed to hit with the Gravity and his -Speed nature!
Summary: Venoshock -> Giga Drain -> Venoshock Replace action with Sleep Powder if he uses Psychic
Vinestrike continues to amplify the toxins in Anna's body, as she attacks with a Venoshock. Anna doesn't let up, as she retaliates with a ConfuseBeam, but Vinestrike doesn't seem to bothered as her Leech Seed continues to restore her health. While Anna is cooling down from the effort of her last attack, Vinestrike attacks with a Giga Drain to regain some more health. Anna is looking weak now! Vinestrike rushes into to prepare for another attack, only to have Anna turn around and smacks her with a Sucker Punch. I don't approve of those dirty tactics, and neither does Vinestrike, who retaliates with another Venoshock that sends Anna reeling backwards.
