Loving the new shift, plenty of thoughts despite having maybe played a handful of games thanks to being forced to prep for non OM tiers (L).


Things I have tried though that I would love to see a placement for:

This is an underrated mon that's been long overlooked and I'm so happy it's getting use now. This set in particular feels easily deserving of A-, while also having solid potential for optimization in set variety because this mon has options. Bulky pivot wisp/stunner for a hex spam partner like Zoro-H? Doable. Attacking sets get so many moves to pick from that 4MSS is a hindrace, even more so with immunity so your set of choice needs support, but imo MGLO is a very good option for this mon even with non-full attack sets.

This is another set that while outclassed, is amazing if you can bluff it strongly. It has a hard reason to at least be considered, because being able to hit a regendark/dnite is immense while making people scared to click priority on it. Yes it needs more support to pull off, but in a meta where surprise factors are key to winning games this set can punch holes that you would have a tougher time with otherwise. Additionally, being able to run a different random dazzling is always nice for the salt inducing....


Can't think of any other changes I'd like to make atm, but will come back to this when I have some time to play a few games and maybe ladder for once instead of spectating

Mglo slither wing is capable of many things like swapping into garganacl and punishing non fluffy corviknights with brutally powerful close combats as well as ignoring hazard damage completely. With u-turn it can keep up momentum against corviknight, scream tail, and talonflame. First impression lets it threaten choice scarfers, meowscarada, greninja, etc and with morning sun any chip taken from opposing u-turns or salt cure is healed off. However slither wing without flare blitz loses to fluffy corviknight and without earthquake is stone walled by skeledirge. Priority users like hatterene and dragonite also give it issues. I believe slither wing is a great wallbreaker that deserves recognition.

I think it's the best lead in the format, hadron engine tbolt chunks literally everything that isn't immue to it, it's a good spike setter, it can switch in easily because of the abundance of electric moves as a result of corv being the best mon. its only real counters are other scarfers, regenvest moon and meowscarada. This speed + damage output I would say puts it on a similar level to meowscarada. Alternatively you can run a variation like no guard Zap Cannon, which can debilitate things like roaring moon trying to switch into it. Because of this, I'd add no guard to its list of abilities

I'm nominating Pawniard for S tier on the vr.



This is honestly the most slept on mon in the tier imo. Where Kingambit has actual stats, Pawniard is just so cute, you'd have to be a monster to attack it. While it has the enemy distracted it can secretly sabotage them and tear apart any core.

Cute Charm is necessary, as it boosts Pawniard's adorable rating to unprecedented levels. Swords Dance is a diversion: the enemy will think it's just a cute dance, but Pawniard is secretly plotting there demise. Once they realise this, they get hit with Thunder Wave and are left helpless. Iron Head does incredibly low damage, but for anything that is faster than Pawniard, which is... just about everything, Sucker Punch will be the attack of choice. The combination of the HP investment and Pawniard's cuteness make it nigh impossible to KO, but red card will punish anyone cruel enough to hit it.

Checks and Counters: Anything with a move that does damage will probably take Pawniard out pretty quick, but otherwise, it's completely busted.

This thing will definitely get quickbanned soon so use it while you can.

Belly Drum jacks up these priority moves to 11, making it capable of always 2HKOing Dragonite, with chip or Reflect needed to win the 1v1. Knock Off and Headlong Rush are high BP moves that hit its main other weakness, Skeledirge, well. Headlong is favoured to beat Dazzling Chien-Pao and Roaring Moon, while Knock Off hits Earth Eater / Levitate Skeledirge.

I nominate Glaceon (w/ Beads of Ruin) to move from unranked to C. It's super hard to use, crippled by rocks, and only really has one viable set, but its immense breaking power can punish the opponent for playing defensively, and its usable bulk can let it live one hit from some attackers and KO back.

Rises

The big 3

A+ to S-/S. I just don't see why a mon with more usage than Great Tusk in OU (70% vs 55%) isn't S so far? We can say it's not that great or anything but at the end of the day that's just the most splashable mon of the metagame for every team balanced-like. It provides a lot of defensive utility, a slowpivot and is by far the best and viable Defogger in the current metagame.

A to A+ or S-. Garchomp just cemented itself as one of the best mon in the metagame especially Regen one providing a lot of defensive utility while being extremely flexible. Regenvest doesn't offer momentum compared to Roaring Moon but has less exploitable weakness. Offensive one like Galvanize, Regen mixed LO, etc are also cool.

A+ to S-. Goes to S- as well if Chomp goes too. Iron Moth just provides a lot as weather control, some speed control, defensive utility, power, pivot utility or Tspikes. It's pretty much never a burden to a team like Garchomp and Corviknight completing them so well. Offensive set like Hadron/SFLO/BoR are one of the scariest thing in the metagame but hopefully they are some drawback compensating the devastating potential they get to me, at this time.


A to A+. Far from falling, this mon continued its ascend competing with Garchomp as Regen Dragon. The best and almost only RegenVest able to pivot in the current metagame. You can find it to be easy to abuse but it doesn't change the fact it's able to answer a wide range of threats making it great at compressing defensive roles in more offensive teams while providing momentum.

A- to A/A+. The most problematic mon at this time. MGLO is so good at making progress over long games especially when paired with status spam. SFLO is still the same deadly breaker and able to break through things like Blissey, Florges or Clodsire sometimes thanks to Body Slam. Even RegenVest Garchomp isn't perfectly safe considering people tried Icy Wind for it lol. Overall much more versatile than Gengar.

B+ to A/A+. Big jump there but seems realistic to me. Scream Tail is one of the best mon in the metagame. Unaware CM/TW/Encore is a glue against many setup sweepers that can also autowin some MU without Iron Moth for instance. Far from just dealing with setup, it acts as Wisher for the team pairing well with Iron Treads for instance. Pixi can still does well especially the fully offensive one LO 3atk CM bypassing usual counterplay in Poison mon. Regen is also cool especially Scarf Trick. Doesn't seem that great on paper but really does the job in game.

A- to A. SoR Band is prob the best abusing Fluffy so well thanks to Icicle Crash. Put a lot of pressure on Intimi Corviknight requiring to stay full to avoid the 3HKO. Almost fastest mon in the metagame.

A- to A. Please nerf UT! Joking aside, this mon exerts a tremendous pressure in the builder because BU + WoW is able to bypass many counterplays such as Garganacl or WBB Corviknight (no BU)/Iron Treads. Provides WoW utility + speed and is a great wincon.

B+ to A-. Triage LO is just great and surprisingly just win so many games almost alone lol.

B+ to A-. Abuse so well Roaring Moon or Garchomp as special tank. BoR Specs can just break anything but Blissey really while Scarf still hits hard and provides a great speed control. Mega Launcher is still good too.

B+ to A-/A. Offensive sets are still great with variety from the classic Tinted to SoR, Scrappy or MGLO ones. However recent metagame changes lead to the WBB defensive set which is really good. Provide momentum and WoW utility often annoying to deal with considering Fire mons can't absorb it due to EQ threat.

B to B+. Even though it loses the busted Flip Turn under rain, Barraskewda is still a scary fast breaker benefiting from its large coverage. Quite underrated mon.

B to B+. If some think special threats are too many, then the anti-special threat should rise! Blissey usage increased past months and it deserves to be higher imo.

B to B+. Even though Garchomp is top tier, this mon remains scary with the busted Bitter Blade under sun backed by Close Combat and/or Solar Blade strong coverage. Desolate Land also provides some defensive utility against Quaquaval or Hatterene for instance.

B to B+/A-. This mon is way more scarier than it looks like tbh. MG and Natural Cure are pretty cool which decent staying power. Regen is harder to use because it requires the Regenslot but Regen SubCurse is a scary monster you should definitely not underestimate.

B to B+. One of the greatest fat/stall breaker in the current metagame. Quite difficult to enter because it's quite slow (as an offensive mon) and has almost 0 defensive utility but breaks usual defensive core so well tbh. One of the biggest winner of Gholdengo's departure. SFLO, Hadron Engine or BoR are all good and does similar thing.

B to A-. The rising star of wallbreaking nowadays. Should definitely be higher considering how great it is at breaking fat teams. MGLO is ofc the set that stands out abusing Steel Beam with mixed set. TCLO exists and can rapidly be out of control at +2 with Extreme Speed being able to OHKO mon like Sandy Shocks after SR damage. Adapta can also work considering Iron Moth dies from CC + BP. Easier to use than Gardevoir but you need a solid heart to deal with focus miss moment.

B to B+. Might be biased a bit there but Scarf Hadron Rotom-W is great. I find it easier and more effective than Hadron Scarf Sandy Shocks in many situation thanks to Hpump really threatening Grounds to more freely abuse boosted Vswich. Trick is also a valuable move to get an out against some bullshit setup. You can try to drop Tbolt sometimes for WoW to cripple things like Roaring or Garchomp.

B- to B. Rised recently it seems? This is prob due to Ghosts. Corrosion is good at spreading status for Hex based team.

B- to B+. Fluffy Taunt DD Gyarados is a monster that can autowin so easily and a great defensive value for Offense. You can finally remove Stone Edge because Dragonite is gone. Do not underestimate!

B- to B. A dumb and fishy mon but still annoying. Good players tend to not try priority against it because it's often Dazzling so you can try something else and bait. I often lost a Roaring Moon to Pixilate Terablast lol.

B- to B+. Ngl this mon is good. It has some rare qualities to compete the Regenslot and even without, WBB, EE and even the fancy Grassy Surge are good. Full SpD it's not 2HKO by Sball from SFLO Gengar. Knock Off and TW are both great moves.

C+ to B/B+. This has been criminally underrated lmao. TC/SoR is really scary with Tusk being gone considering Fighting + Elec + Ice coverage pretty much delete usual defensive cores but Scream Tail. You also get a prio, Revival Blessing, pivot or something else as last. Being faster than Chomp is great.

Drops

B+ to B. Didn't really take over from Tusk tbh. It's a decent mon ngl but there's a lot of competition for the Regenslot and Donphan isn't really worth. With Dragonite gone you can run Poison Jab which is great at spreading status giving it more utility but that's all.

C to UR. No need to argue.

Nominations

UR to idk. Beat Up is the only niche over Chien-Pao but damn, if you manage to abuse the move properly that's one of the scariest thing alive.

UR to C+/B-. Stupid dumb fishy mon reminding Kommo-o from last gen. Completely inconsistent but can just autowin MU sometimes by just clicking BD and spamming Drain Punch. Bullet Punch at +6 OHKO Gengar and H-Zoro btw.

UR to C+. Corv trapper or Knock Off + U-Turn is the niche of this mon over Bramble.

UR to C+. Regen offer defensive utility vs Meow, Chien-Pao and Kingambit and annoys things with WoW. Is that worth the Regenslot? Probably not. MGLO has some tools Cinderace doesn't get but is that worth? Idk. Still has tools to do something.

UR to C+. Knock Off + Spikes + Tspikes + Leech Seed + Toxic + Rapid Spin = should be ranked. Even Regenvest could be decent still using Knock Off and Rapid Spin with EP Giga Drain or Sludge Bomb.

UR to C+. Technician Shell Smash is extremely low cost Bax.

UR to C+/B-. I never thought I'll nom this mon somewhere lmao. Ice Beam + Freeze Dry with Mud Shot support for Iron Moth is a devastaring combination with BoR.

UR to C. Refrigerate Boomburst + Shift Gear with Throat Spray can still work even though extremely MU fishy (Garga and Iron Moth rip).

UR to C. Just click Final Gambit on chipped Corviknight.

Ok, I do legitimately think that Greninja should also have sheer force as a viable set, as it's one of the most successful abils that I've used on it.

setting up one sd basically wins you the game, assuming stuff that actually does wall this has been chipped down enough(like donBozo). It pairs especially well with stuff like meowscarada because of its walls almost completely being water type.

Reasoning

I feel like while yes, dland and moldy ceruledge are very good sets, there is also smth to be said for mglo. The added boost to shadow sneak and and close combat are big for breaking through walls for it such as regen Dondozo, which gaurenteed eats 2 cc from dland ceruledge but takes 47-55.3% from mglo, regen chomp, which can eat +2 dland cc and eq you back, wbb corv, which can potentially break through a weakened ceruledge after a defense drop from cc with brave bird, and skeledirge, which can eat a sneak fairly well and even potentially two from dland ceruledge even with adamant, whereas mglo two shots gaurenteed even the bulkiest of skeledirge with jolly. Negating things such as potential poison damage, rocks, spikes, helmet, and ofc, life orb, are also great properties of the set and I feel it is smth yet to be looked into enough and has some very strong potential.

Seems like the council is demeaning in their rankings especially considering those from standard tiers. A mon doesn't need about 10% usage to be at least B+ or higher... See Talonflame kek (conspiracy from UT we all know). Feel free to read this again to better understand what defines each rank and what fits in which de facto. Also yeah ladder stats are to take with a grain of salt for sure but are still a quite relevant paramater to mention to ensure a bit more your objectivity. Have a good day!

A to A-/B+ Do I need to point out the obvious UT bias? Talonflame is obviously good, Wisp BU sets are a menace in the right MU, and MGLO BB is pretty valuable as a revenge killer, but to put it in the same rank as top-tier offensive mons like Kingambit and Slither Wing, as well as higher than more common and viable picks like Iron Treads and Quaquaval is frankly absurd. Idk what council is cooking up with this one but it should've been left in the stove.

A to B This is quite drastic but I am a firm believer this mon sucks ass and is a general garbage pick all around on a team. With Corvid's omnipresence and the rise of defensive Slither Wing, Meow lacks presence both in builder and in play, because really what are you doing with Meow anyway? There are better Knock spammers in the tier that provide much more utility than Meow ever could while hitting the same targets it does. It also is immensely weak to hazards while being completely unable to pressure Corvid, so you're getting 5-8 opportunities on average to do anything, which sounds okay on paper...until you realize it hits about as well as paper on any given day, even with Band SoR. Scarf sets are admittedly cool anti-cheese techs that can deal with HO quite well thanks to 100% crits and a blazingly fast speed tier, but that's all it really is: a tech for an uncommon playstyle.

A- to A Very good breaker right now, self-sufficient thanks to its powerful dual STABs. combined with its reliable recovery and flexible movepool give it pretty much everything it needs. Reminds me of a diet Blace from last gen where it's able to wear down its checks quite well over a long match while also coming in on a sizable amount of Corvids, except it trades speed for better bulk. Generally also very easy to slap on a team since it provides hazards removal if you want it to while facing little ability competition, and BB sets are basically unblockable spinners since not even the Fluffy Ghosts can take 2 BBs after a bit of chip.

B to B+ I've found it very easy to accidentally build a team weak to diet Zapdos, and it's not hard to see why. Unless you spam Regen Tinkaton or VA Corvid EVed to live two Weather Balls, Hurricane is quite spammable since everything else is a tiny bit of chip away from a 2HKO, or in Iron Moth's case, a weighted coinflip. Beyond spamming Hurricane it's also a fast pivot that resists Fighting, letting it take on the Drummers not named Hariyama from full and come out on top. It's not impossible to play around should you forget about it, but it's definitely better than the VR gives it credit for.

Keep in B Someone is inevitably going to nom this down so I'd actually like to pivot, agree with the council, and defend Sylveon for a bit. It lacks the speed and physical bulk that Scream Tail has but makes up for it through its higher SpA stat, allowing it to actually put a dent into resisted foes at +6 (+6 4 SpA Sylveon Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Iron Moth: 102-120 (33.8 - 39.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO, doesn't seem like much but with Moonblast's higher PP you eventually beat non-Sludge Wave Iron Moth with PP to spare), and Moonblast's higher PP allowing it to always win stall wars with opposing Scream Tail, forcing your opponent on the back foot. It also lacks that annoying Dark and Bug neutrality that Scream Tail has, messing with breakers like Hydreigon and Scream Tail who just wanna click their STABs. It's obviously worse than Scream Tail in other aspects, such as its inability to 1v1 defensive Kingambit as well as Scream Tail's flexible and fast speed tier, but for its unique qualities it's a pretty solid mon I feel people overlook.

C+ to UR I feel like Altaria's niche is more theoretical than anything. I liked it a lot more before Dragonite was banned, since you could bait that in and Wisp it, but now it kinda feels Altaria is just lacking in Wisp targets, which is what really sets in apart from Corvid beyond its typing. The stuff that's fine with coming in on Altaria (Skeledirge, Kingambit) don't care about Wisps in the first place, and it forces very little out. Compare that to Corvid, which forces tier staples like Kingambit, Slither Wing, and Quaquaval out at least once thanks fear of BB vs BP + ability to slow pivot out. Pretty much everything that Altaria checks, Corvid checks as well, and in some cases, a fringe coverage move can fuck Altaria over harder than Corvid on the few things it does check, like Ice Spinner Quaquaval. I really don't see any reason using it unless you really like the cloud bird dragon.

C+ to UR
I would like to bring this back up.

In hundreds of AAA matches I have seen a grand total of 5 Glimmora, 3 within the first week of the game, and none of them won a match. It just kinda sucks all around: too trail to be a consistent Rocker, lacks the moves to be a strong special attacker, and is constantly outclassed but other TSpikers. Why even use it? Just end its misery and unrank it.

Some other thoughts:
-I think C Rank should just be shrunken into one massive C Rank. I don't really see the point in highlighting the distinction between various ultra niche picks. There's obviously a gap between the best (Chi-Yu) and worst (Brambleghast) mons in those 3 ranks, but is anyone gonna care if you say that Decidueye is better than Tastugiri, for instance? At some point they just all blend together.
-B Rank is huge but I don't feel like most of the mons belong elsewhere. I guess you could move Lucario up to B+ but I do not feel super impassioned enough to make that argument. We're just gonna have to deal with it for the time being.
-I also think Garg, Treads, and Palafin should move up to A, A, and B- respectively, but again, don't care too much to make that argument.

This is indeed too drastic. Meowscarada has quite an easy time clicking moves, outspeeding and threatening out 90% of the tier, and Corv doesn't like switching in at all. Knock Off forces Corv to Roost every time, otherwise it will be in range next time (if rocks are up) ; that puts a lot of pressure even on teams with Intimidate Corviknight. Not mentioning that a well built Meowscarada team has other mons that put pressure on Corviknight. I could maybe see it going to A- but nothing below that.

A- to A Very good breaker right now, self-sufficient thanks to its powerful dual STABs. combined with its reliable recovery and flexible movepool give it pretty much everything it needs. Reminds me of a diet Blace from last gen where it's able to wear down its checks quite well over a long match while also coming in on a sizable amount of Corvids, except it trades speed for better bulk. Generally also very easy to slap on a team since it provides hazards removal if you want it to while facing little ability competition, and BB sets are basically unblockable spinners since not even the Fluffy Ghosts can take 2 BBs after a bit of chip.

Why not. I feel like Quaquaval is either at the top of A- or the bottom of A. I'd still put it in A- because of its lack of bulk (for a mon that's supposed to have a ton of defensive utility).

B to B+ I've found it very easy to accidentally build a team weak to diet Zapdos, and it's not hard to see why. Unless you spam Regen Tinkaton or VA Corvid EVed to live two Weather Balls, Hurricane is quite spammable since everything else is a tiny bit of chip away from a 2HKO, or in Iron Moth's case, a weighted coinflip. Beyond spamming Hurricane it's also a fast pivot that resists Fighting, letting it take on the Drummers not named Hariyama from full and come out on top. It's not impossible to play around should you forget about it, but it's definitely better than the VR gives it credit for.

A lot of teams tend to be weak to Kilowattrel that's true, but the mon isn't as strong in practice as it is in the builder. Either it's Boots and surprisingly weak, missing a lot of key ohkoes or even 2hkoes (on Regen Tinglu, physically bulky Garchomp, Iron Moth, Protect Garganacl, ...), or it's Specs and has a hard time with rocks (also missing key ohkoes). Also it's only a Talonflame check as long as it's at full, otherwise +1 Brave Bird will kill. If I had to raise a Primordial Sea user from B to B+, it would definitely be Inteleon, a mon that actually ohkoes stuff ; or Rotom-Wash for an Electric type, which is more annoying in practice.

C+ to UR I feel like Altaria's niche is more theoretical than anything. I liked it a lot more before Dragonite was banned, since you could bait that in and Wisp it, but now it kinda feels Altaria is just lacking in Wisp targets, which is what really sets in apart from Corvid beyond its typing. The stuff that's fine with coming in on Altaria (Skeledirge, Kingambit) don't care about Wisps in the first place, and it forces very little out. Compare that to Corvid, which forces tier staples like Kingambit, Slither Wing, and Quaquaval out at least once thanks fear of BB vs BP + ability to slow pivot out. Pretty much everything that Altaria checks, Corvid checks as well, and in some cases, a fringe coverage move can fuck Altaria over harder than Corvid on the few things it does check, like Ice Spinner Quaquaval. I really don't see any reason using it unless you really like the cloud bird dragon.

C tier is mostly for subpar but usable mons, which is the case of Altaria (it has seen some successful use in Money Tour). If anything I'd be more in favor of extending it and merge C-, C and C+ cause the differences seem blurry to me.

C+ to UR
I would like to bring this back up.

On the contrary I think Glimmora deserves a solid B- or B ranking. Beads of Ruin Glimmora is a strong wallbreaker with a solid speed tier, the ability to poison any non-steel check, and hazards utility (as well as checking Talonflame and absorbing T-Spikes which is valuable). Bulkier sets with Earth Eater, while more niche, can also be annoying to deal with.

Honestly, I’ve never seen the hype behind wbb gambit.

Reasoning: volcarona bug buzzes, moth discharges, ceru ccs, ace hjks, tflame I’ll give you but who tf runs blitz on that thing anyway , arma clicks aura sphere, tauros has stab cc, seems like you’re just fishing for chi-yu and skeledirge, but geuss what dirge can run, earth power , oh and chi-yu dark pulse still chunks so that ones even a lil iffy tbh. I’m not saying it’s not a kinda sorta ok set if you squint extra extra hard, I just don’t agree with it being listed as an ability for it as I’ve never run into a wbb gambit and said “well now my fire type is useless ” because it has no recovery and loses to too many fires, I have the same feeling about treads, feels like it’s just the biggest moth fish ever, AND MOTH CHUNKS WITH E BALL.

Reasoning

I feel like while yes, dland and moldy ceruledge are very good sets, there is also smth to be said for mglo. The added boost to shadow sneak and and close combat are big for breaking through walls for it such as regen Dondozo, which gaurenteed eats 2 cc from dland ceruledge but takes 47-55.3% from mglo, regen chomp, which can eat +2 dland cc and eq you back, wbb corv, which can potentially break through a weakened ceruledge after a defense drop from cc with brave bird, and skeledirge, which can eat a sneak fairly well and even potentially two from dland ceruledge even with adamant, whereas mglo two shots gaurenteed even the bulkiest of skeledirge with jolly. Negating things such as potential poison damage, rocks, spikes, helmet, and ofc, life orb, are also great properties of the set and I feel it is smth yet to be looked into enough and has some very strong potential.

Overall, crazy set, do recommend, pls add to list of ceruledge abilities .

Team I used for the latest suspect and also have reached top 10 with. Choice Scarf Meowscarada is a potent cleaner with choice scarf sword of ruin that is paired two strong special attackers in Kilo and Hydra. Defensive backbone of Unaware Tail, Chomp and Corv can cover most of the meta pretty well and is a pretty basic team structure in the current meta.

Now onto some VR things


/ B ~> B+: Im actually quite shocked they both weren't already here to begin with, as they're very strong special special attackers that can get past a good amount of the special walls present. Gardevoir has spammable stabs that beat the dragons and psyshock to get pass moth. Tinted blows through steels that would check it like treads/tinkaton or can run hadron and be an effective breaker there too. Rotom-W meanwhile is a great scarfer and can provide trick that can get annoy assault vest users if paired with other special attackers.

B ~> B+: I think the regen set is still very good with AV, but recently I've been trying some teams with immunities Tink (Well Baked Body/ Earth Eater) and it has been putting in work. It's a rocker that can really annoy Corviknight with Knock Off and Thunder-Wave and having these abilities allow it to be a great switch in to things like Garchomp or Iron Moth (depending on which ability) and be able to click knock. It's special defense while not as strong with AV is still able to take a strong hit or two and can be a threat back with Gigaton Hammer.

A ~> A-: The utility sets with Wisp and breaker with Bulk Up are nice but frankly I don't think its consistent enough to be A as of right now. A lot of teams run Well-Baked Body Steels that Talon can't really touch unless it gets a good amount of Bulk Ups, and then can just pivot into something that can revenge it. It's still good and can win some matchups very heavily (hell I've beaten unaware Tails) but I just don't think A is really indicative of where it's at, especially when you compare it to the other mons in the rank that are much more consistent on a game to game basis.

UR ~> C/C+: Lets just accept that this will be the hariyama replacement on HO's (even if I think its significantly worse lol).

The justification with using Hoopa is in return for a slow, frail teamslot, you get a very strong breaker that can help clean teams. Hence, Hoopa also finds a home in Sticky Web teams.
