Alola Formes

Alright, let me just put a lid on submissions for now. Results are going to be a little while yet, because Eevee General said I should recruit a new judge. I can't think of anybody at the moment, but I'll try to find one as soon as I can.

Edit: We've got a new judge! Results later tonight, hopefully.
Edit 2: I can't believe I forgot to say that Eevee General gave the OK on signature moves and Gen 7 abilities. Schooling, Shields Down, and any other Forme-changing abilities are still off-limits, though.
Edit 3: Judging complete. Results posted sometime tomorrow.

Hi there guys I'm the new judge.

Double Posting because new slate starts now! It's a little smaller this time because we're still getting unopposed submissions, and we want to focus on quality instead of quantity.

Pokemon: Alolan Skorupi
New typing: Electric/Fairy
New abilities: Intimidate/Static/Iron Barbs (H)
New stats: 40/60(+10)/90/30/60(+5)/50(-15)
New/removed moves:

Removed: Toxic Spikes, Cross Poison, Fell Stinger, Infestation, Payback, Venoshock, Swagger, Whirlwind, Acupressure, Scary Face, Screech (11)

Added: Thunder Wave, Baby-Doll Eyes, Camouflage, Mirror Move, Sharpen, Draining Kiss, Sweet Kiss, Spark, Metal Claw, Slack Off, Bulk Up (11)

Flavor/Design: A light pink Skorupi with tiny wings on its back, no fangs, sharper claws and small holes all over its tail. It has evolved to be a herbivore in Alola that mainly survives by drinking coconut milk. It uses its sharp claws to cut coconuts in half, and then bends down to drink it. It has evolved claws designed to cut through leaves and coconuts, and its fangs have become small incisors to aid in chewing the occasional leaf. The holes in its tail can launch spikes full of electric pulses that make anything they touch briefly immobilised, helping it to get away from predators. It likes pretending it's a pink flower while it hides in tall grass, which also has the evolutionary benefit of avoiding any predators in said grass. They can make their electric stingers stick out of their tail holes to intimidate foes. They are quick to learn and are generally friendly. These Pokemon mostly tend to live in flower fields, but can be found in other rural areas.

Pokemon: Alolan Drapion
New typing: Electric/Dragon
New abilities: Intimidate/Sheer Force/Technician (H)
New stats: 70/110(+20)/110/60/80(+10)/65 (-30)
New/removed moves:

Removed: Toxic Spikes, Cross Poison, Fell Stinger, Infestation, Payback, Venoshock, Swagger, Whirlwind, Acupressure, Scary Face, Screech, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang (14)

Added: Thunder Wave, Baby-Doll Eyes, Camouflage, Mirror Move, Sharpen, Draining Kiss, Sweet Kiss, Spark, Metal Claw, Slack Off, Bulk Up, Discharge, Spark, Wild Charge (14)

Flavor/Design: Unlike the Alolan Skorupi, who is limited to producing small amounts of electricity in its tail and filling its stingers with it, Alolan Drapion is an electrical powerhouse. It has a heavy organ in its torso which scientists have named a "generator liver", a large energy converter that fills up with the food Drapion eats and transfers the energy from the food's chemical store into kinetic energy through rapid shaking, which it then converts into electricity through a mysterious process scientists call " electrification". It then opens up holes in its generator liver and skin and coats its sticky body with this electricity. It can then launch this electricity outwards or use it in its next attack.

Like its pre-evolution, it is primarily pink, although Alolan Drapion has blue tiger-like markings around its body. They are thought to have evolved these markings to look more intimidating and dragon-like. It is said that when Alolan Drapion gets angry, these spikes glow as electricity emanates from them, creating a sound similar to a Mega Charizard Y's cry.

They don't like flowers and are polar opposites of Alolan Skorupi. They tend to stay in warm caves, and are social with other dragon types, often living with Druddigon and Drampa. They hate humans entering their caves.

Purpose: 145 BP Wild Charge coming off 110 attack can deal some nice damage. Metal Claw adds to its already extensive coverage including Night Slash, Earthquake, Brick Break, Aerial Ace, Poison Jab and Knock Off. Good health and defence also allow it to eat up neutral physical attacks and live super effective ones. A positively amazing wallbreaker with bulk, power, coverage and a bit of utility.

Alolan Skorupi could be used as a Bulk Up defensive sweeper in LC. It also has the ability to check major LC threats such as Timburr, Spritzee, Staryu, and Fletchling!

New abilities: Intimidate / Water Absorb / Storm Drain (Hidden)
New stats: 55/60 (-10)/45/80 (+10)/50/60
New moves: Scald, Hydro Pump, Rain Dance, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, Waterfall, Aqua Tail, Aqua Jet

Pokemon: Arcanine
New typing: Water/Dragon
New abilities: Intimidate / Water Absorb / Storm Drain (Hidden)
New stats: 90/100 (-10)/80/110 (+10)/80/95
New moves: Scald, Hydro Pump, Rain Dance, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Waterfall, Aqua Tail, Aqua Jet
Removed moves: All Fire-type moves, Wild Charge, Thunder Fang, Solar Beam
Flavor/Design: A blue Arcanine with wave-like fur. Much like their counterparts Vulpix and Ninetales adapted to a cold environment, Growlithe and Arcanine have adapted to an aquatic environment. They are excellent swimmers, though Arcanine rarely swims, as it has the ability to walk and run on water.

Pokemon: Elgyem (Alolan)
New typing: Bug/Steel
New abilities: Honey Gather, Levitate (Heatproof)
New stats: 55/45(-10)/60(+5)/80(-5)/60(+5)/35(+5) (335 Total)
New/removed moves:
Removed: Confusion, Heal Block, Miracle Eye, Imprison, Zen Headbutt, Psych Up, Calm Mind, Guard Split, Power Split, Synchronoise, Trick Room, Dream Eater, Ally Switch, Barrier, Guard Swap, Power Swap, Skill Swap, Teleport, Magic Coat, Role Play, Trick, Wonder Room. (-22)
Added: Autotomize, Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball, Iron Defense, Metal Sound, Iron Head, Mirror Shot, Bug Buzz, Infestation, Leech Life, Signal Beam, Silver Wing, String Shot, Struggle Bug (+14).
Flavor/Design: It is now an olive color. It's head is a lot less tall and doesn't haves black markings; instead, it has three antenna. It is also now piloting a small honeycomb-like UFO with a laser cannon under it. These Elgyems came from another "Colony" then the one that went in Unova and thus adapted to Alola instead. They are usually seen floating above towns and mountains, although they avoid volcanoes because of how vulnerable they are to fire.

Pokemon: Beheeyem (Alolan)
New typing: Bug/Steel
New abilities: Honey Gather, Levitate (Heatproof)
New stats: 75/55(-20)/100(+25)/105(-20)/100(+5)/50(+10) (485 total)
New/removed moves:
Removed: Confusion, Heal Block, Miracle Eye, Imprison, Zen Headbutt, Psych Up, Calm Mind, Guard Split, Power Split, Synchronoise, Trick Room, Dream Eater, Ally Switch, Barrier, Guard Swap, Power Swap, Skill Swap, Teleport, Magic Coat, Role Play, Trick, Wonder Room. (-22)
Added: Autotomize, Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball, Iron Defense, Metal Sound, Iron Head, Mirror Shot, Bug Buzz, Infestation, Leech Life, Signal Beam, Silver Wing, String Shot, Struggle Bug (+14).
Flavor/Design: Unlike Elgyem who was olive, Beheeyem is a golden yellow similar to a bee's. Like Elgyem, it's head is much less tall and instead has three antenna on it. Instead of having "buttons" on it's torso, it has black stripes. It has a red marking on it's forehead; it seems to be trying (and failing) to pass for a Vespiquen. Just like Elgyem, they pilot an UFO, although this UFO is much bigger and more complex then Elgyem's. Alolan Beheeyem are considered scary by Alolan natives and the latters usually avoid encounters. Few of them are seen around the islands, but they're usually seen around certain stores. Some researchers found out all of these stores sold honey, and that Alolan Beheeyem are in fact attracted to honey!

They keep Psybeam, Psychic, Gravity and Cosmic Power because they're still aliens and it makes sense for aliens to use Psychic stuff. As with my previous submission, I'm open to any constructive comments!

Pokemon: Growlithe-A
New typing: Grass/Steel
New abilities: Flash Fire, Intimidate Infiltrator, Justified Rock Head
New stats: 80 (+25)/100 (+30)/45/40 (-30)/50/35 (-25)
New/removed moves:-
Removed Moves: Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Fire Spin, Overheat, Incinerate, Fire Fang, Heat Wave, Ember, Aerial Ace, Safeguard (11)
Added Moves: Horn Leech, Wood Hammer, Needle Arm, Bullet Punch, Ice Fang, Aromatherapy, Head Smash, Zen Headbutt, Leaf Blade, Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force, Psycho Cut, Fury Cutter, Night Slash, Skull Bash (15)
Flavor/Design: Growlithe are working dogs wherever they go, and the ones in Alola are no exception. However, in this strange new world, they bear much less resemblance to their conventional cousins and now look more like a fearsome critter of our world's lumberjack lore: the axehandle hound. Though its stumpy legs, dark green coloration, and elongated, almost ferret-like profile are quick ways to tell an Alolan Growlithe from its fellows, the biggest difference by far is the fact that it has what looks like an axe blade for a head. The weight of it accounts for its more, er, ponderous turn of speed than other Growlithe, but it also means that its attacking prowess is greatly increased; when it hits, it hits hard. This is why they are used in the logging industries; their powerful heads can easily fell a tree should the mood take them.

Pokemon: Arcanine-A
New typing: Grass/Steel
New abilities: Flash Fire, Intimidate Infiltrator, Justified Rock Head
New stats: 120 (+30)/140 (+30)/60 (-20)/70 (-30)/60 (-20)/105 (+10)
New/removed moves:-
Removed Moves: Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Fire Spin, Overheat, Incinerate, Fire Fang, Heat Wave, Ember, Aerial Ace, Safeguard (11)
Added Moves: Horn Leech, Wood Hammer, Needle Arm, Bullet Punch, Ice Fang, Aromatherapy, Head Smash, Zen Headbutt, Leaf Blade, Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force, Psycho Cut, Fury Cutter, Night Slash, Skull Bash, High Jump Kick (16)
Flavor/Design: While Growlithe-A might be strong, Arcanine-A is far more powerful and faster with it. Its much bigger body and longer, sturdier legs allow it to move at incredible pace through the forests they call home and hold up its axe head - now in the style of a double-bit battleaxe of which Gimli would be proud - with consummate ease. It can outspeed Base 100 Speed Pokémon, which is always a plus, and it can also deliver considerable damage while doing so, whether with priority moves or not. Indeed, Normal/Ghost priority is a serious boon for any aspiring sweeper, but it can also run moves like Flare Blitz and Head Smash to make use of its potent ability Rock Head. Horn Leech is also immensely potent on that set, granting it a little STAB healing to round out its coverage. There's a lot that this Arcanine-A can do... and at least some of it is not get burned. =]

If you're wondering: yes, I did look up the hexcodes for what colour each type is in the Pokémon games. To answer your next question, I have been outside, and it was rubbish. =]

Cookie Butter

formerly the someone
Pokemon: Nincada
New typing: Dark/Normal
New abilities: Compound Eyes (Arena Trap)
New stats: 31/35(-10)/70(-20)/30/50(+20)/60(+10)
New moves: Assurance, Reflect Type, Knock Off, Snatch, Dream Eater, Parting Shot, Disable, Water Shuriken, Quick Attack, Fake Out, Extreme Speed, Sucker Punch (12)
Removed moves: Sand Attack, Mud-Slap, Solar Beam, Sunny Day, Snore, Struggle Bug, Final Gambit, X-Scissor, Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Silver Wind, Gust (12)
Flavor/Design: Nincada's life in the complete darkness made it camouflage in it. It loses many of its Bug characteristics and becomes a more normal shadowy figure. This subspecies of Nincada would be found in the Underground of the Eterna Forest.

Pokemon: Ninjask
New typing: Dark/Flying
New abilities: Speed Boost (Aerilate)
New stats: 61/100(+10)/45/50/50/150(-10)
New moves: Boomburst (1)
Removed moves: Fury Cutter (1)
Flavor/Design: The more stealthy and deadly subspecies of Ninjask evolves from completely darkness of digging in the underground to complete darkness of flying in the forest. It controls its distinct and annoying cries, being quiet or releasing powerful booms depending on the situation. Different shades of black covers its entire body, except its eyes, like a ninja. This Ninjask would be found in the Eterna Forest, probably during the night.

Pokemon: Shedinja
New typing: Dark/Ghost
New abilities: Pure Power
New stats: 1/90/30(-15)/30/30/55(+15)
New moves: Shell Smash (1)
Removed moves: Grudge (1)
Flavor/Design: When Nincada evolves, its camouflaged husk that resembles shadows becomes a complete spirit of shadows. It is said that the spirit inside of it also sheds, changing and breaking the shadow husk every so often. This Pokemon would be found in the depths of the Old Chateau.

Pokemon: Elgyem
New typing: Fairy/Ground
New abilities: Levitate, Illuminate (Pixilate)
New stats: 55/65(+10)/45(-10)/65(-20)/45(-10)/60(+30)
New/removed moves:Removed: Confusion, Psybeam, Miracle Eye, Heal Block, Imprison, Zen Headbutt, Psychic, Psych Up, Guard Split, Power Split, Synchronoise, Wonder Room, Psyshock, Dream Eater, Trick Room, Cosmic Power, Teleport (-17)
New moves: Mud Slap, Dig, Sand Tomb, Mud Shot, Bulldoze, Mud Bomb, Disarming Voice, Fairy Wind, Draining Kiss, Hyper Voice, Tackle, Entrainment, Moonblast, Helping Hand, Nasty Plot, Baton Pass, Heal Bell (+17)
Flavor/Design: These are Elgyem that rapidly adapted to the Earth's surface after being transported to Alola. They are now all brown, and float a few feet off the ground, and the colors of their hand things are now pink, blue, and orange, and its eyes are now orange. Its head is also notably smaller, and proportionate to its body. It no longer needs its psychic abilities, as its connection with nature has resulted in it becoming very fairy-like.

Pokemon: Beheeyem
New typing: Fairy/Grass
New abilities: Levitate, Illuminate (Pixilate)
New stats: 75/105(+30)/65(-10)/105(-20)/65(-30)/70(+30)
New/removed moves:
Removed: Confusion, Psybeam, Miracle Eye, Heal Block, Imprison, Zen Headbutt, Psychic, Psych Up, Guard Split, Power Split, Synchronoise, Wonder Room, Psyshock, Dream Eater, Trick Room, Cosmic Power, Teleport, Psybeam (-18)
New moves: Mud Slap, Sand Tomb, Mud Shot, Bulldoze, Mud Bomb, Disarming Voice, Fairy Wind, Draining Kiss, Hyper Voice, Tackle, Entrainment, Moonblast, Helping Hand, Nasty Plot, Baton Pass, Heal Bell, Earthquake, Absorb, Grass Whistle, Worry Seed, Mega Drain, Giga Drain, Bullet Seed, Vine Whip, Magical Leaf, Seed Flare, Solar Beam(+26)
Flavor/Design: Beheeyem is now pink and light green, and its head is much smaller. It now appears to be in some kind of mossy robe, that touches the ground it floats at least a foot above, and their hand things and eyes are almost the same colors as Elgyem's, except the pink is now dark blue. These Beheeyem are treated as signs of good luck and are incredibly rare in the wild, as there is usually only one per group of Elgyem. It is rather tranquil and peaceful, and would rather play with the small Pokemon of Alola than fight most of the time, and would only come to violence if the situation demanded it, like if it feared for its life or the lives of other creatures, though it only does if the situation is dire, otherwise it just causes grass to flare up and makes it incredibly hard to see, and if that fails, it puts the enemy to sleep and carries it a relatively far distance away.

Flavor/Design:
It is not necessary right? I am going to work on it, but without it, My submission would still be "acceptable", right? I will try to finish it, but the general idea is that:
Growlithe in the Alola region love doing pranks especially at Dogs and Canine-Pokemon, And therefor they search for bones that Dogs hide and when they found them, They wear it and hide waiting for the dog to come back and not find the bone and to see his expression, then they walk away with the bones using them for other kinds of pranks like making a line of bones that human would follow and then fall into a hole of mud due to focusing on the bones, that caused some humans to hate them, When they evolved they realized how humans hate them, and began making really harmful pranks which sometimes led the poor people who get inside these pranks into hospital, They therefor became hated and considered villains everywhere in the Alola, And they trainers use their pokemon to defend themselves and attack any arcanine they saw, which caused the Arcanine to head into the place where not a lot of humans visit, Graveyards, Scaring whoever went near and collecting bones as it's new hobby, which confuses a lot of humans

Alolan Skarmory
New Typing
: Flying
New Abilities: Tough Claws / Rattled (Unburden)
New Stats: 65 / 110 / 110 / 40 / 40 / 100
Removed Moves: Autotomize , Iron Head , Flash Cannon, Spikes , Stealth Rock , Iron Defense , Metal Sound , Assurance, Guard Swap, (-8)
New Moves: Acrobatics, Knock Off , Play Rough, Superpower, U-Turn, Wild Charge , Shadow Claw , Crush Claw , Hone Claws (+9)
Flavor: In the Alola region Skarmory are much more aggressive, this has caused them to shed their rough steely exterior in order to gain more speed. Their powerful claws can crush steel making Skarmory from other regions easy pickings.

Other : Skarmory's role does a 180 and becomes an offensive power-house, it loses the ability to set hazards and the majority of its steel moves. In return it gets some much need coverage options that still make sense. Acrobatics as without the steel coat they would be much more agile, Play Rough because my rationale for adaptation is them competing aggressively with each other. Superpower because of the increased strength. U-Turn for a meta-joke because we like Meta jokes and Wild Charge because well it can charge wildly.

It's pure flying because Normal / Flying has been done to death and this sets it apart from the likes of Staraptor and Swellow that have similar sort design mold.

Pokemon: Alolan Drifloon
New typing: Electric/Fire
New abilities: Levitate/Chlorophyll (Volt Absorb)
New stats: 90/40/30/68/40/80 (-10 Atk, -4 Def, +8 SpA, -4 SpD, +10 Spe)

New Moves: Volt Switch, Thunder Shock, Electro Ball, Discharge, Spark, Ember, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Fire Blast, Solar Beam, Morning Sun, Flame Charge (12 Total)
Flavor/Design: The winds of Sinnoh has caused Drifloon and Drifblim to float out of the region and into Alolan region After seeing many natives, tourists, and especially children paragliding, the Drifloon and Drifblim, decide to use their ghostly power to shift their bodies to make them longer and larger, to make sure that they passed as a paraglider. They live at the top of mountains at popular paragliding spots. Once people started to glide using Drifloon and Drifblim, it was having so much fun that it forgot about it's ghostly kidnapping ways, and became well known because of their ability to make people have more fun while gliding by taking unexpected turns, speeding up and slowing down. While doing this, they adapted based on other paragliders, and changed their color to be more similar to other paragliders. They are now a combination of yellow (Electric Typing), red, and light blue. Due to increased exposure to the sun, they now become a fire type, and they gain chlorophyllic cells, allowing them to glide faster in sunlight. And if it rains, they will absorb any lightning bolts that strike them, leaving it and the rider totally unharmed.

I would like to reserve Bug/Psychic Shedinja (with Bug/Fighting Nincada), please.

If I can't make reservations (because I'm assuming repeat type combinations are allowed, so then this would be an exercise in futility), then this is code for "I'm finishing up flavor on Bug/Psychic Shedinja, Bug/Dark Ninjask, and Bug/Fighting Nincada".

Pokemon: Shuckle
New typing: Grass/Poison (original, right?)
New abilities: Sturdy/Harvest (Prankster)
New stats: 20/10/230/10/230/5
Removed moves: Ancient Power, Bulldoze, Dig, Earth Power, Earthquake, Infestation, Mud Slap, Rock Blast, Rock Polish, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Sandstorm, Sand Tomb, Shell Smash, Smack Down, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Stone Edge, String Shot, Struggle Bug (-21)
New moves: Absorb, Acid Armor, Acid Spray, Aromatherapy, Belch, Bullet Seed, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Gunk Shot, Leech Seed, Mega Drain, Milk Drink, Poison Jab, Poison Powder, Poison Sting, Seed Bomb, Sleep Powder, Sludge, Solar Beam, Stun Spore, Toxic Spikes (+21)
Flavor/Design: Alolan Shuckle, while still recognizable as Shuckle due to sharing the same yellow, worm-like body, varies from the more known form Shuckle in a variety of ways. While the common Shuckle is famous for it's rock-like shell, Alolan Shuckle uses a coconut shell! This coconut shell is actually responsible for most of the differences between Shuckle forms. For example, while normal Shuckle is famous for producing berry juice, Alolan Shuckle can produce coconut milk! And while both forms of Shuckle love berries, Alolan Shuckle takes it one step further. Alolan Shuckle often live in or around trees and helps to make it's own berries. However, Alolan Shuckle doesn't just make delicious berries and milk substitutes, it can also produce it's own poison, so people should be careful.

While my other submissions were made with flavor in mind first, I actually made this one with competitive mindset. I made no changes to stats because there's nowhere to remove stats from except it's defenses, and it wasn't worth to add points to anything besides it's HP, but increasing HP would drastically improve Shuckle, which I wanted to avoid. I decided on Grass because I could give Shuckle Synthesis (although I ended up being able to give it Milk Drink flavor wise) and Leech Seed to make use of it's low HP. Grass type also gives Shuckle a variety of support moves. Poison type gave it an immunity to poison, which is good for a defensive Pokemon, and Toxic Spikes to make up for losing Stealth Rocks and Sticky Web. Considering Shuckle's connection to berries and new grass typing, Harvest seemed like the next step after Gluttony. Prankster was decided as a Hidden Ability because giving the slowest Pokemon in the game priority has a similar contrary feel, and also people hit people in the head with a coconut as a prank I guess?

Pokemon
: Growlithe
New typing: Ice
New abilities: Strong Jaw/Snow Cloak(Fur Coat)
New stats: 55/75/40/65/45/70 (0/+5/-5/-5/-5/+10)
New/removed moves:
Removed: Ember, Flame Wheel, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Flare Blitz, Fire Blast, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Fire Spin, Incinerate, Flame Charge, Sunny Day, Solar Beam (14)
Added: Ice Fang, Ice Shard, Powder Snow, Ice Ball, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Freeze Dry, Frost Breath, Hail, Icy Wind, Avalanche, Water Pulse, Hone Claws, Icicle Crash (14)
Flavor/Design: While the people of Kanto have tamed their Growlithe to become their loyal pets, the people of Alola have instead resisted and isolated the Growlithe to the icy mountains. Due to this, the Growlithe had to adapt to the cold mountain climate. As the life there is harsher, the jaws and teeth of the Growlithe have grown very strong to ensure the catch of the prey. Due to the lack of heat, Growlthe's fur had grown thicker to preserve body heat. The Growlithe in the mountain learned to coexist with some of the Pokemon that live in the cold mountain such as Vulpix and Sandshrew.

Pokemon: Arcanine
New typing: Ice/Dark
New abilities: Strong Jaw/Snow Cloak (Fur Coat)
New stats: 90/120/70/90/70/115 (0/+10/-10/-10/-10/+20)
New/removed moves:
Removed: Ember, Flame Wheel, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Flare Blitz, Fire Blast, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Fire Spin, Incinerate, Flame Charge, Sunny Day, Solar Beam (14)
Added: Ice Fang, Ice Shard, Powder Snow, Ice Ball, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Freeze Dry, Frost Breath, Hail, Icy Wind, Avalanche, Water Pulse, Hone Claws, Icicle Crash, Knock Off, Night Slash, Dark Pulse, Feint Attack, Pursuit, Foul Play (20)
Flavor/Design: While the icy mountain has made Pokemon such as Vulpix and Ninetales nice and fuzzy, it has made Growlithe much tougher therefore evolving to the very aggressive Arcanine. With jaws as hard as steel, and limbs as fast as Rapidash, this thing is very scary to face. This untamable creature cannot be stopped, biting and clawing anyone who comes near it. It is said that the only thing that can calm this beast down is the aura and beauty of the majestic Ninetales.

All right, let's give this a go.

Pokémon: Koffing
New Typing: Water/Rock
New Abilities: Solid Rock/Water Veil(HA: White Smoke)
New Stats: 50/50/95/70/65/30 (+10/-15/0/+10/+20/-5)
New/Removed Moves:
Removed: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Incinerate, Sludge Bomb, Shock Wave, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Venoshock, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic Spikes(10)
Added: Water Pulse, Surf, Waterfall, Scald, Icy Wind, Ancient Power, Sandstorm, Rock Polish, Aqua Ring, Stealth Rock(10)
Flavor/Design: A lack of toxic gases around the oceans where some Koffing lived made them stop floating and slowly sink into the depths, somehow still surviving under the water and growing pressures. When they at last made it to the bottom, the used what little energy they had left to drift towards the many undersea vents around them. Anchoring themselves to these smoke-expelling pillars made them pale grey(almost white), have completely white and barely functioning eyes, and grow out the vents on the bottom of their bodies to expel high amounts of hot gas to shoot themselves up to the surface. Sometimes they stand on these leg-like protrusions to conserve energy. They no longer need to be attached to the vents, as they develop a method of gas replication, and leave eggs on the sea floor protected by the smoke of the vents.

Pokémon: Weezing
New Typing: Water/Rock
New Abilities: Solid Rock/Mega Launcher(HA: White Smoke)
New Stats: 75/75/120/95/90/40 (+10/-15/0/+10/+20/-20)
New/Removed Moves:
Removed: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Incinerate, Sludge Bomb, Shock Wave, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Venoshock, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic Spikes(10)
Added: Water Pulse, Surf, Waterfall, Scald, Icy Wind, Ancient Power, Sandstorm, Rock Polish, Aqua Ring, Stealth Rock(10)
Flavor/Design: Alolan Weezings can only move by expelling air stored in their body out through vents on their undersides to hop. Where a second head would be, there is instead a rocky mass with a forward facing vent on it. If they detect any vibrations or noises that could mean trouble, they hop into the air and quickly spin around towards the direction of the phenomenon before expelling high pressure hot gasses. Because of this, many people give their Weezings contact lenses or glasses to help improve vision and better analyze what startles them.

I hope this looks good!

Pokemon: Ducklett
New Typing: Water/Ground
New Abilities: Mold Breaker / Hydration (Rain Dish)
New Stats: 72 (+10)/40(-4)/53(+3)/50(+6)/60(+10)/30(-25)
New / Removed Moves: Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Defog, Feather Dance, Fly, Gust, Hurricane, Mirror Move, Pluck, Roost, Tailwind, Wing Attack (-13)

Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, Mud Slap, Magnitude, Earthquake, Slack Off, Rock Slide, Aqua Jet, Hydro Pump, Earth Power, Stealth Rock, Waterfall(+12)
Flavour: When Ducklett and Swanna migrated to the Alolan region, the abundance of Electric types led it to abandon the flying typing and its attributes. It started roaming in swamps amd mudholes to gain a protective layer of mud to weaken electric type attacks. Over time its physiology adapted and it became part ground. Ducklett worships rainfall, as it provides it with plenty of water to form muddy puddles. The design for Ducklett generally remains the same, however the light blue downy feathers became replaced with think water repellant navy blue feathers, as it spends almost all of its time in or below water. The dark blue feathers that form a heart on its chest are now completely caked in mud that mixed with the feathers natural waterproof oils to make a permanent unwashable mudstain.

Pokemon: Swanna
New Typing: Water/Ground
New Abilities: Mold Breaker / Hydration (Drizzle)
New Stats: 105 (+30) / 64 (-23) / 67 (+4) / 93 (+6) / 76 (+13) / 68 (-30)
New / Removed Moves: Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Defog, Feather Dance, Fly, Gust, Hurricane, Mirror Move, Pluck, Roost, Sky Attack, Tailwind, Wing Attack (-14)

Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, Mud Slap, Magnitude, Earthquake, Slack Off, Rock Slide, Aqua Jet, Hydro Pump, Earth Power, Stealth Rock, Waterfall, Stone Edge, Fissure, (+14)
Flavour: Alolan Swanna love the mud and rain so much, they harnessed the power to summon rain whenever they choose to. Swanna has gotten skilled enough with earth and mud to the point of it being able to create massive and destructive shockwaves in the earth with enough tectonic force to crumble buildings to the ground. Alolan Swanna are stouter with shorter necks and smaller flipper-like wings which helps it glide through the water. Its white flight feathers are replaced with hardy Navy blue water resistant feathers. The tips of its wings, its chest and its headcrest are all covered in mud similar to that found on the chest of Ducklett, but more oily.

And I will take this time to address something. Why the one submission limit per person? I understand quality equals quantity, but Pet Mods almost never attract enough people to be able to use this rule and provide consitent competition between submissions (usually only two or three of 7-9 mons on a slate receive multiple submissions). Thats why I suggest to increase it to two (or maybe three max), as that means much more variation can occur.

We don't really have reservations currently. Repeat types are allowed, but I know some people don't really want to do them, so 'reserving' something just to let us know you're working on it is still a cool thing to do imo.

I agree with G-Luke. With a two-subs rule, we'll get a lot more actual choice when it comes to new mons... then again, since it's a judging panel and not a community vote, maybe it's not worth the additional effort for you guys. IDK. =]
My comments on this:
1) I'm sort of worried that we might get situations where one person starts to dominate the slates for whatever reason, and this might turn people away.
2) We need more submissions. I'd personally certainly rather have competition for all of them then a quicker slate to judge... also more competition will likely improve quality of output (not to knock the fabulous submissions we're currently getting of course, this is just the econ student in me...)

Overall I don't mind the idea. I think it may even be necessary.

Pokemon: Bellsprout
New typing: Grass / Dark
New abilities: Infiltrator / Prankster (HA)
New stats: 60 (+10) /70 (-5)/45 (+10)/60 (-10)/45 (+15)/20 (-20)
New/removed moves: -Venoshock, -Acid, -Poison Powder, -Acid Spray, -Belch, -Clear Smog, +Dark Pulse, +Moonblast, +Quiver Dance, +Pursuit, +Nasty Plot, +Moonlight
Flavor/Design: Bellsprout's leaves become spiky and a more blue-ish tint, it's roots become the same colour and also spiky. It's head is now brown. The Bellsprouts of the Alola region are known for their medicinal properties. It's leaves can sting and when they do they make the target drowzy and eventually into a calm sleep. These Bellsprout only appear at night and have a strong connection to the moon as they appear to dance when it's in it's full moon state..

Pokemon: Weepibell
New typing: Grass / Dark
New abilities: Infiltrator /Strong Jaw (HA)
New stats:
60(-5)/110(+20)/45(-5)/60(-15)/45/60
(+5)
New/removed moves: -Venoshock, -Acid, -Poison Powder, -Acid Spray, -Belch, -Clear Smog, +Dark Pulse, +Moonblast, +Quiver Dance, +Pursuit, +Nasty Plot, +Moonlight, +Crunch
Flavor/Design: Alolan Weepinbells have developed strong teeth and use them to catch prey by going up trees and at night falling onto their heads and attacking their necks.
Their design is similar to Bellsprout's but they have large saw teeth and their body also has light blue markings.

Pokemon: Victreebel
New typing: Grass / Dark
New abilities: Tough Claws / Strong Jaw (HA)
New stats:
110(+30)/110(+5)/70(+5)/90(-10)/70/40(-30)
New/removed moves: -Venoshock, -Acid, -Poison Powder, -Acid Spray, -Belch, -Clear Smog, +Dark Pulse, +Moonblast, +Quiver Dance, +Pursuit, +Nasty Plot, +Moonlight, +Crunch
Flavor/Design: Alolan Victreebel host an entire microhabitat inside itself, as such it stopped needing to move around as much. It's leaves grew a lot and divided to look like claws, this gave Victreebel a lot of reach to continue to feed itself and those inside it. Vicreebel is alot more passive than Weepinbel but can still attack unexpecting foes if they threaten it.
It's colours are similar to Weepinbel, but the leaves a less spiky and it's body is of a darker colour.

Edit: Can I suggest doing fewer mons per slate that way there might be a bit more competition and discussion.

Pokemon
: Alolan Tangela
New typing: Grass/Ground
New abilities: Sand Rush, Arena Trap, Overgrow (Hidden)
New stats: 75/85/85/70/30/90(+10/+30/-30/-30/-10/+30)
New/removed moves: -Infestation -Sludge Bomb -Shock Wave -Poison Powder +Bulldoze +Dig +Sand Tomb +Fissure +Earthquake +Sandstorm +Magnitude +Double Slap +Agility +Exteme Speed +Quick Attack +Wide Guard +Power Gem +Leaf Blade (Net Change: 10 (Bonus for adding a second typing))
Flavor/Design: The Alolan Tangela have most of their vines underground and use them to move around, with a small layer of vines protecting it's inner form. Attacks are performed by having their vines dig underground

Pokemon
: Alolan Tangrowth
New typing: Grass/Ground
New abilities: Sand Rush, Arena Trap, Overgrow (Hidden)
New stats: 120/130/95/80/30/80(+20/+30/-30/-30/-20/+30)
New/removed moves: -Infestation -Sludge Bomb -Shock Wave -Poison Powder +Bulldoze +Dig +Sand Tomb +Fissure +Earthquake +Sandstorm +Magnitude +Double Slap +Agility +Exteme Speed +Quick Attack +Wide Guard +Power Gem +Leaf Blade (Net Change: 10 (Bonus for adding a second typing))
Flavor/Design: Similar to Tangela, most vines are underground and used for movement, the two main changes between Tangela and Tangrowth is that Tangrowth has a lot more vines and a larger inner form

So we're intending to judge soon and we're still missing a Bellsprout submission. Anyone up for it?

EDIT: Dark Mage Ewan is a hero
Wish that I had replied to this before my father set to work to completely restore my computer yesterday. My computer had a bad hard drive that needed to be replaced.

Honestly, I thought you guys would be on to the next slate by now!

I've had this idea of an Electric/Grass type Victreebel, and even though up what I was going to do with it.

But I'm stuck on my phone for the time being, and it is much harder to do research and type this sort of stuff up than on an actual keyboard. I haven't tried copying and pasting on a touchscreen yet, but I predict difficulty and frustration.

I might come back and try to do it anyways later, but I have stuff I need to do first before I can devote myself to what will likely take hours to accomplish, due to the difficulty of editing with a touchscreen.

Finally, after being stuck off my laptop for a couple of weeks, I'm back!

Last minute entry (which I have to do again, because I accidentally clicked Youtube of all things)!

Introducing:

Pokemon: Bulbsocket the Bellsprout
New typing: Grass/Electric
New abilities: Chlorophyll/Heatproof (I wanted to add Volt Absorb, but the Bellsprout family only has two abilities :()
New stats: 50/35/35/75/70/50 (and believe me: I wanted to make it much faster).
New/removed moves:
Added: Charge Beam, Light Screen, Rain Dance, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch (+9)
Subtracted: Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Clear Smog, Gastro Acid, Infestation, Poison Powder, Sludge Bomb, Venoshock (-9)
If Didn't Care About Rules: Discharge, Electro Ball, Electroweb, Hyper Voice, Shock Wave, Sonic Boom, Supersonic, Thunder Shock, Wild Charge (++9)
Flavor/Design: Has a more yellowish set of leaves from storing electricity. The roots are black and more like cable than anything else, through which Bellsprout absorbs electricity. Has a pair of antennae which glow, which is used to attract the bugs that Bellsprout and co eat. Entire family glows like a lightbulb if agitated, excited, or attacking.

Pokemon: Weepinbulb the Weepinbel
New typing: Grass/Electric
New abilities: Chlorophyll/Heatproof (H/A) (I wanted to add Volt Absorb, but the Bellsprout family only has two abilities :()
New stats: 65/45/50/90/55/65
New/removed moves:
Added: Charge Beam, Light Screen, Rain Dance, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch (+7)
Subtracted: Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Clear Smog, Gastro Acid, Infestation, Poison Powder, Sludge Bomb, Venoshock (-9)
If Didn't Care About Rules: Discharge, Electro Ball, Electroweb, Hyper Voice, Shock Wave, Sonic Boom, Supersonic, Thunder Shock, Wild Charge (++9)
Flavor/Design: The antennae are now a little bit longer, while the vine from which Weepinbel hangs is more like a tail, with a bulb like appendage at the end.

Pokemon: Victreebolt the Victreebel
New typing: Grass/Electric
New abilities: Chlorophyll/Heatproof (H/A)
New stats: 80/60/65/105/100/80 (0/-45/0/+5/+30/+10)
New/removed moves:
Added: Boomburst, Charge Beam, Light Screen, Overheat, Rain Dance, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch (+9)
Subtracted: Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Clear Smog, Gastro Acid, Infestation, Poison Powder, Sludge Bomb, Venoshock (-9)
If Didn't Care About Rules: Discharge, Electro Ball, Electroweb, Hyper Voice, Shock Wave, Sonic Boom, Supersonic, Thunder Shock, Wild Charge (++9)
Flavor/Design: Other than the previous changes, the antennae have been moved towards the stem of the top leaf. The rear vine is even longer.

This subspecies of the Victreebel family absorbs electricity from the roots (and later the cable-like vine on the back), and stores it in the leaves like a capacitor. They can be a PITFA around power plants and power cables. They will pierce cables or other electrical sources of electricity using their roots or vines, but normally live in areas with naturally occuring magnetic fields. The guts of the Alolan Bellsprout is tougher, with Victreebel being able to charge enough electricity and heat to momentarily create a strong flame, while notedly being in possession of a somewhat fire-retardant skin. Could this be to adapt to the local Marowak that normally would pose no threat? The tongue-like sensory organ can ring like a bell similar to the Chimecho family, but louder, which is used to scare off would-be predators and to make territorial/hierarchical claims.
Those ill-prepared who enter into areas inhabited by these Victreebel are known to disappear, much like the Common Victreebel. Apparently, they are just as aggressive as their cousins.

Concept: Why not? A flower that can act like a light bulb and generator! Plus, also based off of this idea:

Some more unorthodox academics say that this depicts a lightbulb used in ancient times, explaining why there are no burn marks from torches deep in the pyramids. Mainstream academics say this just depicts the aroma of a lotus flower.

Speaking of aroma, the Sweet Scent of an Alola Victreebel family is said to smell like scented candles. The more you know.

I'd like to say that they live in a magnetically charged area similar to Chargestone Cave or any of the areas with the rock you use to evolve Magneton and others, but we'll see if Alola has anything like that!

And yes, I gave Victreebel the same Special Defense it had before the Special split.
