Ability Changes: Solid Rock / Inner Focus | Stone Typhoon

Stat Changes: 100 HP / 110 Atk / 60 Def / 40 SpA / 185 SpD / 40 Spe
Typing Changes: Ice
Ability Changes: Ice Body / Own Temp | Filter
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+ Glacier Block
- Iron Defense
What Separates it from Other Forms:
Spdef wall with Filter
Glacier Block prevents any Physical or Special attacks targeted at the user from striking, for the duration of the turn. If a contact move is targeted at the Glacier Block's user, the hail effect is started.

New Pokémon Name: Avalugg-Solidified
Stat Changes: 80 HP / 130 Atk / 150 Def / 30 SpA / 45 SpD / 60 Spe
Typing Changes: Ice / Rock
Ability Changes: Ice Body / Sturdy | Skill Link
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+ Salt Cure
What Separates it from Other Forms:
Bulky physical wallbreaker that abuses Skill Link with Icicle Spear and Rock Blast.

Arcanine: This will need a rework, whether in typing or stat distribution, as right now it just heavily competes with Decidueye-Hisui, since they share the same typing, similar stat distribution and Movepool. Special Attack probably wants to be lowered depending on what typing it picks as well.

Arcanine-Hisui: Lower the special attack a bit, and add real drawback to Stone Typhoon.

Avalugg: Can you specify if Glacier Block is a Protect clone or not? I like it when things are as clear cut as possible for coders.

*Tera types are included in sets though no clue if terastal will ever breach the surface of Alternatium EX

We currently don't have plans for Tera, and tbh a lot of your subs seem broken if it were implemented.

Avalugg: Lower it's Defense, it can Rest on almost any physical Attacker we have rn and you can't even reliably force it out with SpA users anymore.

Avalugg-Hisui: The abilities are too much. Not a fan of Thick Fat on this, it invalidates too much Fire types in our meta. Frenzied Might is also too good of an ability overall, either one of these effects would be strong as is. I suggest axing one of the effects or just going with Purifying Salt.

Arcanine: Not a balance thing, I am just saying how I can't see this thing thriving alongside Greninja, who shares the same typing and almost identical statline but can also go for Protean if it wants. I suggest a different typing to pair with Strong Jaw since that seems to be the main goal of Arcanine.

Arcanine-Hisui: Already commentated on Frenzied Might.

arcanine.png

New Pokémon Name: Arcanine
Stat Changes: 95 / 105 / 85 / 105 / 85 / 80 | 555
Typing Changes: Normal / Fire
Ability Changes: Intimidate / Guts / Guard Dog
Movepool Changes (from Arcanine):
+ Stomping Tantrum, Bulk Up, Calm Mind
What Separates it from Other Forms: defensive pivot with intimidate/wisp/teleport, revenge killer with extreme speed, or cm user.

arcanine-hisui.png

New Pokémon Name: Arcanine-Waregeist
Stat Changes: 95 / 105 / 75 / 80 / 115 / 115 | 555
Typing Changes: Steel / Rock
Ability Changes: Well-Baked Body / Rock Head / Apparition (This Pokemon's Ghost moves have 2x power; it can't be confused; Fighting moves have 0.5x power.)
Movepool Changes (from Arcanine-Hisui):
Raging Fury | Steel | Physical | 120 BP | 100% Accuracy | 10PP | Contact | 33% recoil.
+ Poltergeist, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Lick, Shadow Ball, Hex, Destiny Bond, Gyro Ball, Iron Tail, Flash Cannon, Iron Defense, Body Press
- all Fire-type moves besides Fire Fang, Flamethrower, and Will-o-Wisp
What Separates it from Other Forms: fast wallbreaker with rock head/apparition or braviary-h/magearna-p/kyurem-w check with wbb.

avalugg.png

New Pokémon Name: Avalugg
Stat Changes: 95 / 127 / 154 / 44 / 66 / 29 | 515
Typing Changes: Ice / Fighting
Ability Changes: Sturdy / Thermal Exchange (now halves the power of Fire moves) / Scrappy
Movepool Changes (from Avalugg):
+ Combat Torque, Brick Break, Counter
What Separates it from Other Forms: defensive ice with big scrappy body presses.

avalugg-hisui.png

New Pokémon Name: Avalugg-Plated
Stat Changes: 85 / 137 / 134 / 54 / 76 / 29 | 515
Typing Changes: Rock / Ground
Ability Changes: Sturdy / Purifying Salt / Ice Age (This Pokemon takes halved damage from Ice-type moves. Its own have 1.3x power.)
Movepool Changes (from Avalugg-Hisui):
Mountain Gale | Ice | Physical | 100 BP | 100% Accuracy | 10PP | 1.3x power if used in Snow.
What Separates it from Other Forms: physical tank with great coverage.

Arcanine-Hisui: Too much in it's tool box. Mon does not need three very good abilities that let you do 3 different things (requiring very different counterplay). One or two of these abilities need to be replaced with less defining ones. Also, I think Rock Head Head Smash is a bit much on a mon with this stat spread regardless, so deal with that.

Avalugg: Similar thing here, Thermal Exchange is a REALLY good ability on here, it doesn't also need Scrappy to flip the script on the Ghosts that are expecting T.E.

:Arcanine:
New Pokemon Name: Arcanine-Water Balloon
Stat Changes: 110/80/92/100/65/83 | 525
Typing Changes: Water/Grass
Abillity Changes: Bubble Barrier - Hazards can not be set on this Pokémon, instead take 12.5% of your max HP as damage.
Movepool Changes:
All Fire Moves
Hydro Pump, Surf, Energy Ball, Leaf Storm, Synthesis,Leech Seed, Giga Drain, Flip Turn
Distinctive Elements: Physical wall that can also prevent hazards, but at a cost to Arcanine's own health. Can also act as a pivot with Flip Turn.
:Avalugg:
New Pokemon Name: Avalugg-Prism
Stat Changes: 95/100/100/105/80/45 | 525
Typing Changes: Ice/Steel
Abillity Changes: Reflective Surface - This Pokémon is immune to Fire type attacks. When hit by a Fire type attack, set Aurora Veil for 3 turns.
Movepool Changes:
Iron Head, all screens, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam.
Distinctive Elements: Physical wall and special attacker that becomes extremely hard to break when hit by a Fire type move, but has a severe Fighting type weakness.

Arcanine: Interesting ability on paper, but in practice it plays like bad Magic Bounce, of which we already have two users. The only interactions in which it proves Magic Bounce's superior is versus Ceaseless Edge (which would not trigger v this mon based on it's rework), Stone Axe (not in the meta ATM), and Toxic Debris (the only user of this ability swiftly 1v1s you regardless). I recommend going back to the drawing board with it, I really love the ingenuity of this Pokémon's ability, I am just not certain on it's practicality. Also, I think you should give it more Grass and Water moves, the movepool seems pretty barren.

Avalugg: Not sure I want to co-sign auto screens here. That usually leads to all sorts 9f issues. I'd be comfortable with Reflective Surface triggering a different underutilized effect.

That's ALOT of text. Considering the magnitude of commentary, I'm giving a generous Friday 8 PM EST due date to modify these Pokémon. Have fun.

The next slate starts now!

:Squawkabilly::Squawkabilly-Blue: Slate 23: The Big Bird House :Squawkabilly-White::Squawkabilly-Yellow:

:Sv/Squawkabilly::sv/Squawkabilly-Blue::sv/Squawkabilly-White::sv/Squawkabilly-Yellow:

Squawkabilly took the Smogon community by storm for exactly one day due to how funny it was being the only thing being leaked, and then stats came out and the meme died hard. You now have the opportunity to revamp these pompous parrots into playable meta mons.

(Remember we alr have a physically inclined Normal/Flying, be best to distinguish your subs from them)

Those are not all the moves, only those I think relevant, will add other eventually

These Pokémon prefer to live in cities. They form flocks based on the color of their feathers, and they fight over territory.
Green-feathered flocks hold the most sway. When they're out searching for food in the mornings and evenings, it gets very noisy.
:sv/squawkabilly:
Squawkabilly-Commander
Dark/Flying
Moxie/Intimidate/Rattled
77/57/87/114/79/103
Moves: Work Up, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Air Slash, Hurricane, Heat Wave, Taunt, Encore, Disable, Agility, Roost
It has Zarude's palet, looks mean... It's a sweeper with great coverage, may use Specs?

These Squawkabilly are hotheaded, and their fighting style is vicious. They’ll leap within reach of their foes to engage in close combat.
The yellow Squawkabilly are especially fierce. They've even been known to drive other bird Pokémon out of town.
:sv/squawkabilly-yellow:
Squawkabilly-Violent
Fighting/Flying
Scrappy/Inner Focus/Defiant
Moves: Sucker Punch, Close Combat, Wake-Up Slap, Storm Throw, Brave Bird, Dual Wingbeat, Steel Wing, Throat Chop, Knock Off, Bulk Up
-Roost
57/128/83/104/83/62
A breaker I guess? Can set-up, didn't give it Roost because I thought it would be too strong, also I guess it's too aggressive to stop? Maybe underpowered?

This Pokémon dislikes being alone. It has a strong sense of community and survives by cooperating with allies.
Though these Squawkabilly are the fewest in number, they have no trouble living in towns since they blend in with the white buildings.
:sv/squawkabilly-white:
Squakabilly-Urban
Normal/Flying
Intimidate/Mold Breaker/Regenerator
83/78/94/32/94/80
Thunder Wave, Roost, Parting Shot, Knock Off, U-Tirn, Pursuit, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Taunt, Torment, Camouflage, Beat Up, SR, Seed Bomb, Revelation Dance, Play Rough, Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt, Spikes, Steslth Rock
So it’s a physical pivot? Can Twave, put opponent at -2, set hazards, Taunt...

The largest of their flocks can contain more than 50 individuals. They fly around towns and forests, searching for food and making a racket.
Blue-feathered Squawkabilly view their green-feathered counterparts as rivals, since the latter make up the largest, most powerful groups.
:sv/squawkabilly-blue:
Squawkabilly-Horde
Fairy/Flying
Pixilate/Intimidate/Friend Guard
Moves: Roost, Population Bomb, Brave Bird, U-Turn, Air Slash, Tri Attack, Moonblast, Defog, Trump Card, Egg Bomb, Slash, Agility, Calm Mind, Double-Edge, Dual Wingbeat
-Heat Wave, Dark moves
97/68/93/94/93/72
This Pokemon was meant to have a defensive role, with a potential clean option with CM. It is very bulky w/ Intimidate so it has normally no trouble to set-up. I wanted to give it Population Bomb but I don’t think it can break through any resists with it neither outspending so Idt it’d be used.
The flavor is that it's friendly, so Fairy-type, still of a pink blue but looks kinder.

Name: Lochabilly
Type: Flying/Steel
Abilities: Sharpness / Defiant
Stats: HP-70/Atk-115/Def-105/SpA-40/SpD-75/Spe-90 BST: 495
Movepool Changes: + Iron Head, Bullet Punch, Razorblade (Steel-type Slash clone), Swords Dance, Knock Off, U-turn, Pursuit, Sacred Sword
Design: Google Lochaber Axe and imagine Squawkabilly holding one. Also, its feathers are more plated like armor and the feathers on its head point down to protect its face.
Competitive Value: Lochabilly makes a powerful wallbreaker with access to utility from Defog and Roost, set up it Swords Dance, and priority in Bullet Punch. However, its coverage options are limited, forcing it to function as an offensive Flying/Steel type.

Type: Normal
Abilities: Thick Fat / Levitate | Gluttony
Stats: HP-140/Atk-100/Def-65/SpA-20/SpD-75/Spe-35 BST: 435
Movepool Changes: + Body Slam, Toxic, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Toxic Spikes, Gunk Shot
Design: Squawkabilly ate too much and got really big. He has more HP and better utility so that he could serve as a thick wall. Poison-type moves are because he throws up on people.

:sv/squawkabilly:
Name: Skelebilly
Type: Ghost/Ground
Abilities: Levitate | Intimidate
Stats: HP-81/Atk-120/Def-95/SpA-30/SpD-90/Spe-98 BST: 514
Movepool Changes: +Earthquake, Stone Edge, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, U-turn, Pain Split, Bonemerang, Swords Dance
Design: Squawkabilly but it’s dead. He is made of bones, and glows dull purple from inside. The eyes are glowing green wisps. Bones on wings point inward as to be used to slice things.
Competitive Value: Skelebilly could fulfill many roles with its utility and useful offensive and defensive typing, including as an offensive pivot, Swords Dance sweeper, hazard setter, hazard cleaner, physical wall, or phaser.

:sv/squawkabilly-blue:
Name: Conchabilly
Type: Water
Abilities: Shell Armor / Rough Skin | Fragmentation (Toxic Debris clone. Sets Spikes, only in response to contact moves.)
Stats: HP-82/Atk-50/Def-133/SpA-85/SpD-70/Spe-40 BST: 460
Movepool Changes: + Stealth Rock, Spikes, Rapid Spin, Scald, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Flip Turn
Description: He lives within a conch shell.
Competitive Value: Physical wall, hazard setter, HO lead, defensive pivot with Parting Shot.

Also, sorry about presenting this like Poketypos with the descriptions. I’m confusing my pet mods.

ps guys please have some sensibility when making these mons. 114/103 offenses with nasty plot and good offensive typing, tinted lens on 125/100 offense mons, 140/90 offense steel/flying with sd sharpness whose only "downside" is its "limited coverage options", the free-est spike setting ability in the world, and good as gold with more bulk than gholdengo are obviously meta-warping. also look at the alt ex spreadsheet before subbing because normal/flying, grass/flying, rock/flying, steel/flying, and electric/flying mons already exist.

Time for a review. And indeed it will be a beefy one.

Moves: Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Air Slash, Hurricane, Heat Wave, Taunt, Encore, Disable, Agility, Roost

Moves: Sucker Punch, Close Combat, Wake-Up Slap, Storm Throw, Brave Bird, Dual Wingbeat, Steel Wing, Throat Chop, Knock Off, Bulk Up
-Roost
57/148/83/84/83/62
A breaker I guess? Can set-up, didn't give it Roost because I thought it would be too strong, also I guess it's too aggressive to stop? Maybe underpowered?

This Pokémon dislikes being alone. It has a strong sense of community and survives by cooperating with allies.
Though these Squawkabilly are the fewest in number, they have no trouble living in towns since they blend in with the white buildings.
:sv/squawkabilly-white:
Squakabilly-Urban
Intimidate/Mold Breaker/Mimicry
83/78/94/32/94/80
Thunder Wave, Roost, Parting Shot, Knock Off, U-Tirn, Pursuit, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Taunt, Torment, Camouflage, Beat Up, SR, Seed Bomb, Revelation Dance, Play Rough, Wild Charge, Zen Headbutt

Moves: Roost, Population Bomb, Brave Bird, U-Turn, Air Slash, Tri Attack, Moonblast, Defog, Trump Card, Hone Claws, Egg Bomb, Slash, Agility, Calm Mind, Double-Edge, Dual Wingbeat
-Heat Wave, Dark moves
97/68/93/94/93/72
This Pokemon was meant to have a defensive role, with a potential clean option with CM. It is very bulky w/ Intimidate so it has normally no trouble to set-up. I wanted to do something dumb, so I added a potential wallbreaker set with Hone Claws to do this:
+1 252+ Atk Pixie Plate Pixilate Squawkabilly Population Bomb (10 hits) vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Toxapex: 150-180 (49.3 - 59.2%) -- approx. 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery.
The flavor is that it's friendly, so Fairy-type, still of a pink blue but looks kinder.

:Squawkabilly: Just removing Nasty Plot here is fine. This Pokémon alr seems very powerful with all the tools it has under it's belt.

:Squawkabilly-Yellow: Take out 20 to 25 of that Attack stat, put it somewhere else. It's far too strong rn with Scrappy backing it as well.

:Squawkabilly-White: You did not mention it's typing, but I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is the same Normal / Flying. To that end, I am not sure exactly what this Pokémon accomplishes in the metagame rn, and it seems like you don't know either? I'd like this Pokémon to be buffed or reworked, as for right now it's a passive mediocre utility pick.

:Squawkabilly-Blue: This Pokémon is already fantastic, please, it does not NOT need Hone Claws Pixilate Pop Bomb to cheese past checks.

In general I am asking for your submissions to be spruced up, they look a bit untidy and hard to decipher, and in one case are missing key elements of submission design. Prioritize the competitive aspects of the designs over the flavor based lore, in fact probably put the flavor in spoilers or organize it carefully. At the very least copy one of the other submitters formats.

Stat Changes: 82 / 96 / 81 / 45 / 81 / 122 | 507
Typing Changes: Normal / Flying
Ability Changes: Technician / Flock (Flying-type Swarm) | Rivalry
Movepool Changes (from Squawkabilly):
+ Dual Wingbeat, Haze, Defog, Hone Claws, Revenge, Fake Out, Quick Attack, Endeavor, Return
What Separates it from Other Forms: Technician allows for hard-hitting Dual Wingbeat, with Revenge as Fighting coverage. Return makes for Normal-type STAB, thouh Quick Attack or Fake Out is helpful for revenge killing.

New Pokémon Name: Squawkalone
Stat Changes: 92 / 55 / 81 / 96 / 81 / 102 | 507
Typing Changes: Fighting / Flying
Ability Changes: Big Pecks / No Guard | Sheer Force
Movepool Changes (from Squawkabilly):
+ Defog, Haze, Hone Claws, Hyper Voice, Body Slam, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave
What Separates it from Other Forms: Specially oriented No Guard / Sheer Force Pokémon. Hurricane and Focus Blast through No Guard makes for great coverage in general, though Focus Blast can also become a nuke, although highly inconsistent, through Sheer Force.

:Squawkabilly-Blue: I suggest doing something significant to differentiate itself from Braviary rn, as they heavily compete as breakers / revengekillers rn.

:Squawkabilly-White: Sheer Force is a bit much here, No Guard is alr very good. On that end, feel free to supplement the loss of SF with a decent boosting love, like CM.

Stat Changes: 110 HP / 75 Attack / 80 Defense / 45 Special Attack / 95 Special Defense / 55 Speed | BST: 460
Typing Changes: Flying / Electric
Ability Changes: Wings of Autumn (Pokémon's Electric-type moves deal 2x damage against Electric-, Dragon-, and Grass-type Pokémon.)
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+ Thunder
+ Wildbolt Storm
+ Thunderbolt
+ Wild Charge
+ Discharge
+ Volt Switch
+ Thunder Punch
+ Nuzzle
+ Electric Terrain
+ Thunder Wave
Wing Glide (Special, Flying-type, 65 Base Power, Volt Switch mimic.)
What Separates it from Other Forms:
Bulky Electric-type with good utility and far from passive.

Addressing these are pairs, since their problems are similar.

:Squawkabilly: and :Squawkabilly-Yellow:
They are generally too passive, and provide very little utility outside of their typings themselves. This is a problem in general, but for Grass, Grass Flying is a bad defensive typing, and if your defensive typing is the only thing you have to leverage, it will flounder. Electric Flying is good, but it's just plain outclassed by Oricorio-Pom-Pom, who has similar bulk, but has an actual offensive presence that makes up for it's lack of utility. In conclusion, give these mons some way to make progress, since rn all they do is sit and do a mid job at walling stuff.

:Squawkabilly-White: and :Squawkabilly-Blue: These Pokemon are simply far too strong with what the ability provides. 125 Offenses with what is effectively Tinted Lens is just insane. These attack stats need good nerfs, whether it be in ability or stats.

:sv/squawkabilly-white:
Name: Lochabilly
Type: Flying/Steel
Abilities: Sharpness / Defiant
Stats: HP-70/Atk-140/Def-80/SpA-40/SpD-75/Spe-90 BST: 495

:sv/squawkabilly-yellow:
Name: Chonkabilly
Type: Normal
Abilities: Thick Fat / Levitate | Gluttony
Stats: HP-140/Atk-100/Def-65/SpA-20/SpD-75/Spe-35 BST: 435
Movepool Changes: + Body Slam, Toxic, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Toxic Spikes, Gunk Shot
Design: Squawkabilly ate too much and got really big. He has more HP and better utility so that he could serve as a thick wall. Poison-type moves are because he throws up on people.

:sv/squawkabilly:
Name: Skelebilly
Type: Ghost/Ground
Abilities: Levitate / Cursed Touch (Cursed Body clone. Activates when the user makes contact with the target) | Intimidate
Stats: HP-81/Atk-120/Def-95/SpA-30/SpD-90/Spe-114 BST: 530

Sets Spikes)
Stats: HP-82/Atk-50/Def-133/SpA-85/SpD-70/Spe-40 BST: 460
Movepool Changes: + Stealth Rock, Spikes, Rapid Spin, Scald, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Flip Turn
Description: He lives within a conch shell.
Competitive Value: Physical wall, hazard setter, HO lead, defensive pivot with Parting Shot.

Also, sorry about presenting this like Poketypos with the descriptions. I’m confusing my pet mods.

:Squawkabilly-White: Remove Sharpness, Swords Dance and nerf it's speed a bit, or give this a big nerf in Attack, around 25, it's far too strong in it's current form.

:Squawkabilly: Cursed Touch is too strong here, it should be removed. Outside of that it's too fast with it's current power, I suggest a good nerf in that regard.

:Squawkabilly-Blue: Fragmentation in it's current iteration is too strong. At the very least I suggest it is reworked to only trigger upon contact moves.

Flavor: It's the Sensibilly joke in abismal's post but as a mon because I had no ideas. Also is a sensible, well meaning but sometimes ignorant pokemon, who has quite a few literal toys they carry know how to use to absurd effect.
New Moves: All of the torque moves, Fling, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Play Rough, Boomburst
Removed Moves:
-U-Turn, -Roost.
Uniqueness: Tinted Lens attacker or Unaware tank. Also can run Truant for no reason.

:Squawkabilly-Yellow: No Spikes. It's strong enough paired with multiple hazard setters, no need to compound that on its own.

:Squawkabilly-White: This is very weak. 73 Attack is extremely pitiful for an offensive Pokémon, and it must also content with competing with the other Dark Fighting type in Greninja.

:Squawkabilly-Blue: I do not like Solar Beam and the amount of extra coverage on this thing, it's switchins are pretty slim with Drought boosted Fire moves and whatever coverage Squawk already knows.

:Squawkabilly: Tinted Lens is too strong here, remove it and we are fine. Also, outside of that I am afraid this Pokémon almost completely outclasses Indeedee, who is our resident Unaware bulky Normal. I think honestly you might want to choose a different batch of abilities here.

What Separates it from Other Forms: costar revenge killer or punk rock wallbreaker.

:Squawkabilly-Blue: Unaware is completely unnecessary here, it's supposed to be a wallbreaker. And Roost, pivoting and a better defensive typing makes it arguably a better Unaware wall than Indeedee.

:Squawkabilly-Yellow: Co Star feels like a dumb ability,I implore you redesign or scrap it entirely. Honestly I don't see why one would not just run Punk Rock here.

I will be closing subs Saturday, giving everyone plenty of time to correct their subs and redesign stuff if necessary. Have fun and good luck!

Turned Squawkabilly-Blue / Squawkablue into Ice / Flying, and swapped Attack and Special Attack. I added Air Cutter, Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Vacuum Wave and Aura Sphere (so it’s not blocked by Steel-type except Steel / Ghost).

Removed Sheer Force and added Calm Mind as you suggested for Squawkabilly-White / Squawkalone.
