 Experience level*:A little about myself: I was in the last round, but there were issues with my tutors so i didnt actually get started until about 2 weeks or so till the end of the round. I feel that i gained experience but not as much i anticipated to gain. I'm an OK player, but i don't know much about movesets and EV spreads, and my prediction skills could use some work.

I have difficult making and utilizing new and creative spreads. While I enjoy defensive playing better, I would like to branch out to other styles of play. I've reached around 1410 on Shoddy when actually trying to play...And yea, I'm a nice guy.

I never tried to get to 1 on the ladder, but lately I have been wondering if I could. My last team went 36-2, but I feel like I am facing idiots most the time. I just want a better challenge.

Experience level*: I've played competitively since DP came out, but still struggle with forming a truly functional team sometimes. Most teams I make have a little over a .500 win percentage, but what I think it may come down to is my gameplay not so much as the team.

All the tutors on the front page were assigned with an apprentice. Does this means that all slots are full, and I should start looking around as a second apprentice; or are the tutors added as they get paired?

Experience level: I played RSE OU on Smogon under the name Tanner on and off for about four years, then quit after the release of DP because I didn't feel like downloading Shoddy and learning a new generation. Since then, I've been reading the Smogon forums (usually Stark, Evergrande, and Firebot) and playing around with DP casually on my gameboy.

About three weeks ago I started playing Shoddy. Today I logged on and noticed the news item on smogon.com about the new apprentice session.

Experience level/A little about myself: I've been playing Pokemon since the RBY days, but have only recently stepped into the realm of competitive battling, though I've been a member of serebiiforums for years, and a member of pe2k for a slightly shorter time, so I've been reading articles and whatnot about competitive battling for quite a while. I really think this program will help me with my battling ability.
 
I'd like to note that all tournament spots are spoken for... subs will be taken in R1 based on sign up order and availability.

Experience level*: I was a hardcore advance player and I had pretty good teams. I also enjoyed playing the Battle Frontier. I was extremely competitive in advance, and can say that I am quite experienced. But then with the decline of Netbattle, I decided to try out Shoddy, and it has been a few days. There is a lot of changes in D/P and it takes some time getting used to. So for experience level, I would give myself a 4/10 in D/P. I am still a very new player in D/P

A little about myself: I started to play pokemon competitively only this year. Before that, I would enjoy playing my RBY and GSC on my Gameboy (Yes, a gameboy with black white animations!). It is certainly difficult to learn about the next 2 generations, advance and D/P within half a year (without a DS of my own too). I started playing competitive because I had nothing much to do during schooling days. But I take competitive pokemon as a past time and also a good mental workout.
