Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I’ve played a lot of dpp in the past but am just getting back into the meta game. Got to semifinals in a couple unofficial tournaments, top 5 on shoddy battle leaderboard, but I’m currently struggling in the current meta game after my first 100 or so matches back. I have a winning record but I’m nowhere near where I’d like to be.

I have been taking tutoring to become a better player overall and want to learn as many tiers as possible. I’m pretty good at monotype and Ubers but that’s about it. Oras ou is fun so I would like to learn how to get better at it. The goal is to become a better player and this tier will help.

Im playing monotype for a few years now, didnt have any good tour succes but actively participating in the seasonals and team tournaments. In addition to those I started playing BW Ou and had a dope tutor. Willing to increase amount of tiers I play.

Played starting in early/mid sm and played nu or ou for awhile and then discovered the forums and played a few tournies and got decent results before taking a break for awhile. I’ve never really played outside of those few tiers so im ready to try something new in a completely new meta in a different gen.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): Started playing in late DPP/early BW, but stopped teambuilding after gen6 came out and now im really interested in building again, especially DPP and BW atm. I would like to have someone that builds and tests with me, since I dont want to use the same teams from the pdc archive etc like everyone else and while my current builds are solid, they're just not consistent enough to compete on a higher level

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): Been playing since January 2018, mainly playing Battle Spot Singles. I've played RBY OU before, playing in Pokemon Perfect League as well as RoAPL (not doing particularly well in either) and doing a few individual tours, think I might have gotten to R3 in one PP tour but I cant even remember those. I never really formally learned the tier other than just playing games and theorycrafting so I'd love to get a refresher and get back into the tier properly since I have not played for close to 8-9 months. If anyone else does want to learn RBY though, Id be happy to cede my spot as to an extent I can do it on my own.

Well I’ve been back for a few months now and I think I’m gaining a good grasp on the game again. However I still feel lost on teambuilding sometimes so I’d like to go in depth with someone about it. I’ve been practicing teambuilding a lot more lately after using a lot of teams given to me to relearn today’s meta. I’d like to learn about a good builders thought process and different ways I can maneuver a team that I’ve learned to build.

I dont' have many results mostly due to a lack of time but this is looking to change as my schedule will actually stabilize. However I want to shift to old gens because they have a larger competitive playerbase, DPP in particular is a meta ive always wanted to get into but never got to.
