Zheng wasn't bothered by the sparse furnishings - if anything, the fact that accomodations can be built here, amidst the chaos of nature's elements, shows the determination of New Dawn to investigate this phenomena, whatever it takes. The request came to his monastery, sent by an old acquaintance and a Gym Leader, who thought Zheng would not pass up an opportunity to explore the world, even when he has settled down in his small monastery. And Zheng didn't - thankfully his future return and missionary journeys have taken a lull long enough for him to pursue the studies of Pokemon and nature.
Zheng turned a corner and saw a girl just closing the door to her room, wearing red clothes including a striped bandanna. The girl put her palms together, almost contritely, and said, "Greetings, Bhante... So you were here on invitation by New Dawn as well?"
<"Yes. Zheng will do - bhante is but my living, not my title. Can you tell me more about the Stormrage Mountains, or of New Dawn?">
"My apologies, Bhante, but I have only been here recently as well. My Pokemon were caught in strange storms as we approached here, and I spent most of my time tending to them since I arrived. Now that they're healed, perhaps we may venture out together to experience the anomalies firsthand?"
Zheng thought about it for an instant. Surely the best way to know the path is to walk through it. At a nod, the girl smiled, and led the way out of the fortress.
"Oh, by the way, my name is Anna. I'm not a Buddhist, but my great-grandmother was, and she taught me-"
