I saw your question already answered before.

A Wonder Card isn't an actual item, it just exists in your Mystery Gift screen. It is sorta a receipt, as for saving them you don't have to worry about that. Wonder Cards are automatically saved, if you did the event they will be in your Mystery Gift screen until you choose to delete them.
ok...either i missed you or your reply wasnt as detailed...but this time i gotcha...thanks alot...

Question:
does Mind Reader make the next move you use hit, or just the next move on the opponent who got Mind Reader-ed?
ie: Single Battle:
Articuno uses Mind Reader on Gyarados.
Gyarados uses some attack.

Gyarados switches to Metagross.
Articuno uses Sheer Cold.

So, against Metagross, is it a 30% chance to hit or 100% chance to hit?

And by the way, does lock-on work the same exact way?

where is the list of the common redistributable pokes?
i know there is one but i can't find with a common search, i got just lots of page of trading thread.

It only works on the Pokémon that was "hit" by Mind Reader/Lock-on. If your opponent switches out you no longer have the 100% accuracy.

That's gotta be one of the top 3 questions in this forum.
Short answer: you can't if you don't know how to do it by yourself, the people that know how to do it don't teach others.
I guess my question then should be "who do I go to in order to get a hack check?"

Also, where can I find the EV Training Guide?

Hey all,

I was trying to connect to a friend with my DS. so...
I had the pal pad, and registered a friend code, and went down to the bottom floor of the pokecenter, then entered the door.

but...

it brought me to a screen and the only thing on it was "Invite" and "Disconnect".

there was no way for me to select my friend (i have their FC and have it in my pal pad), even when i clicked "Trade". am I doing something wrong?

thx

Did your friend register you?

Your friend also needs you to be registered on his Pal Pad.

Do you see them? (I suppose not.)
Do they see you?
If neither, it might be GTS lag. You both need to be on that screen, and wait a few minutes, see what happens and report back.

Just wondering, what Advance generation pokemon are generally desirable to D/P Wi-Fi players?

Also, what two attacks, along with Bullet Punch, would allow maximum type coverage for a Metagross? I'm thinking Ice+ThunderPunch, but I don't know...

A lot of Pokemon, any good IVed Legendary (Zapdos), strong pokemon such as Tyranitar and Starmie, anything that has been fairly trained well.

I would recommend Ice Punch + Bullet Punch + Earthquake. Ice and Ground will hit a lot of Pokemon and almost all of them. Bronzong and Surskit are the only Pokemon resistant to that combination of Ice + Ground.

Oooh, thanks, KD24. Saved infront of Zapdos in FR ftw. I guess I'm going to do some serious breeding and soft resetting until I get Diamond or Pearl... Having the entire 3rd Generation (Except LG...) makes a LOT of pokemon available.

...In retrospect, the Metagross question was fairly useless as of right now... *Sweatdrop* Thanks for the answers, though.

Um, recently i've been watching youtube videos on pokemon battles. I like the ones with this Xerxes dude. I watch them so I can start building a succesful team. However he's the only guy that does a good job with his web cam, does anyone know of any others who post battles on youtube that are decent?

WillisTheUnbreakable and TrainMan also are good battlers. I saw a lot of good concepts watching them.

A lot of people say 252 HP / 152 Atk / 96 Def / 8 SpD with Gyro Ball + Hypnosis is the set, although for me that hasnt always ohkoed gengar. Maybe the ones I face are somewhat bulky but I started using a set with the hp and attack switched.

Item: Lum Berry
152 HP / 252 Atk / 96 Def / 8 SpD

- Gyro Ball
- Hypnosis
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion

Many people use this set in combination with wobbuffet. Why? Because it can easily take out Gengar a tough thing for wobb to face.

They could but then again they won't. I wouldnt call them really a good combo on a uu team. altaria could stay but how about a steel type pokemon to combo with him? I personally enjoy steelix + altaria. However if normalize thunder wave is really important to you then you can use it. I wouldnt though.

OK. So if a ghost type uses curse on another pokemon and then that pokemon switches out, when that pokemon comes back in is he still cursed?
