You don't need any EV's to OHKO a Calm Blissey that doesn't invest in HP. You need 84 EV's to reach 237 Atk to kill a Bold Blissey with min HP and max Def. The Diverse Blissey set will be be taken down about 69% of the time while being hit a minimum of 94.9%.

Edit: Choice Scarf Dragon Pulse will deal 69-82% to 4HP/min SpDef Garchomp, 79-92% to Salamence (OHKO if it steps into stealth Rock), 53-62% to Dragonite, 78-91% to 4HP/min SpDef Kingdra, and 70-83% to the Rain Dance (Special) set.

Double Battle Question:

If I send out a Rotom (Levitate) and a Rhyperior (Lightningrod), would Rotom's Discharge be nullified by Rhyperior's ability, or would it still hit the two opponents, while not affecting Rhyperior?

I would appreciate it if someone could test this...

Also, does a Double Battle simulator exist on Shoddy?

Roto's Discharge won't be pulled by Rhyperior's ability as it's a spread attack that hits everyone, and sadly, there is currently no Double Battle simulator on Shoddy...(you'll have to battle WiFi or PBR WiFi...)

That's what I thought. Thank you for the clarification, Howie.

No, unfortunately it fails. I tried a similar set on Sceptile that was very cheap: Protect/Detect/Toxic/HP Fire. However, Protect & Detect cannot be used in succession without the chance of success dropping.

When a Nincada reaches LV. 20 and evolves into Ninjask + Shedinja, does the newly created Shedinja keep the EVs, IVs of Nincada?

Can i have some people's oppinion on this battle? It was on Wifi so The percentages may be a couple off
There is a sandstorm out

I have out probopass Quiet nature 280/321HP
252 Special D and HP
sub
thunderwave
Thunder bolt
Earth power

He has out Gengar only 2 stealth rock damage Probably scarfed (i'm about 90% sure)
Focus blast
energy ball
?
?

I switch to Gliscor as death fodder, knowing that garchomp can come in for the revenge kill, as one focus blast wont kill assuming he actually hits. The safest bet for him would be to switch to spiritomb (about 48% HP)
Crunch would surely 2HKO
then he has a crobat I am assuming it is this set because i saw brave bird. had he switched back to gengar i would withdraw garchomp and send Probopass (please do not assume he predicts this) then t wave it
~ Brave Bird
~ Cross Poison
~ Pursuit
~ U-turn
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

i would switch back to probopass and set up a sub, t wave it and then stall it out. when i kill crobat i would have a sub up and procede to do the same with gengar.

What do you guys think? who would have won assuming the information provided?

It still has the same IVs it had as a Nincada and the same moves that the resulting Ninjask has when it evolves (if Ninjask learns a new move when it evolves then Shedinja will have it too, that is the only way to get a Shedinja with Baton Pass or Swords Dance). I don't know about the EVs but I assume that I would copy that too since they are basically the same pokemon.

How does the 'sticky barb' work if your opponent is already holding an item?

It simply hits the attacker 12.5% of their max HP if they use a contact move.

That would be Rough Skin, not Sticky Barb.

If memory serves from my tests, an opponent that already holds an item will not take Sticky Barb, nor will it take damage from it. This is unfortunate. You have to remove the opponent's item and hope they attack you with a contact move. And you'd better make sure you do it before you take Sticky Barb damage or they'll know.

How much would it need to kill a max HP and Defense Bold Blissey?

Does anyone know a tank I can use in my Sunny Day team? I have 5 pokemon an I have just realsied whil EVing the 5th that I dont have a tank/wall. Anyone know one that works with sunny day, and preferably not blissey/skaromy?

It copies practically everything. I know this because I EV trained my Nincada before it evolved, and the Shedinja I got was EV trained too. It's the exact same Pokemon but different species.
Interesting nonetheless.

I have a question that's not too important, but I'm wondering..

What's the point of the move "Vacuum Wave"? At a glance it looks just like Mach Punch. Same type, PP, BP, and speed priority.

So what gives? Just a different name or graphics, or can it be bred onto Pokemon that can't learn Mach Punch?

Meanwhile..

That one dude mentioned Dusknoir, which is a good Pokemon, but I'm going to mention Bronzong as well just for the heck of it. You might want that one just for the flavor of the Pokemon since it naturally learns Sunny Day. (And mine hasn't let me down yet)

I don't know if I should ask this question here, but was the AR Guide thread deleted? If so was there a reason why?
It's probably gone since you can't really talk about AR here anymore.

Does anyone know of a decent hail team? I am thinking of using these Pokemon and I need help on the last spots

Glaceon (wish support)
Tentacruel (toxic spikes/ Rapid Spin)
Abomasnow (obv.)
Mamoswine (Stealth Rock)
Froslass (T-wave, Destiny Bond for surprise kicker)

I want to buy a AR, mainly for checking ivs, clone pokemons and instant egg hatch. However, I dont know what AR I should buy.

Any ideas of AR that works very well?

PS: Sorry my bad english...
