I see a some people hatch there pokemon eggs on strange places, like Umbreon on Full Moon Island.
It is very cool, but how do they do it. I mean do they hatch every egg on the island?
I don't think so, so there must be a other way.

BTW, the Umbreon I was talking about is from Speedwobbles225 and has very good IV's.

They use their iv check code (AR/flash cart users use this), and SRing. They find out their pokemon has the right nature/ivs, so then the get to the place where they want to hatch it, and then use instant hatch.

Or they save before it hatches and then hatches it in the place that they wanted it in.

What HP stats are optimal for leftovers recovery again? Do they have to be divisible by 16 exactly or just when the stat is divided by 16 the result is a whole number with a decimal that is less than .5?

I want to make an Arcanine, and his Attack and Speed IV's were in a range in which I would consider them to be "acceptable", but his Defense was down into the single digits. Is this too horrible? Should I keep breeding? In a... general opinion?

Should be exactly divisible by 16, since the game almost always rounds down

Why can't a naive Pokemon (Golduck to be more specific) have straight 31 Ivs (31/31/31/31/31/31)?

Wild pokemon and legendaries in the GBA games and D/P are supposed to have completely random IVs but the true is that the IVs aren't truly random. That's the way the game is programmed so there are some IV combinations that are possible and some that are not. The algorythm for the generation of the IVs has been discovered in those games and as a result we now know that there is no way to have every combination in every nature (in this case straight 31s with a Naive nature).
Just to clarify, this limitation only applies for wild pokemon because hatched pokemon inherit IVs from their parents so they can have any IV combination and any nature.
To test this select a legendary pokemon like zapdos in shoddy and try to give it perfect IVs with every nature. The program won't let you save if you have selected an illegal IV combination.

For a standard Arcanine, Attack and Speed should be your priority.
As long as the other stats aren't too low, it's okay. Defences should aim at around 20, but one single digit does not make it bad by any means.

For a standard EspyJump, the main site says that it should have 320 HP after being EV trained, so that it makes for maximum leftover recovery. Isn't it also important to make sure the HP is a certain number so that it can make 4 substitutes or something? What if the HP is evenly divisible by 4... then can't it only make 3 subs?

... Obviously it can't be divisible by 16 and not 4... but is it more important to be able to make 4 subs, or to get maximum leftover recovery?

If you are using leftovers then it won't matter if the HP is exactly divisible by 4 because you will be recovering HP each turn which will let you sub at least one more time or more if you calm mind and your substitute doesn't break.
The set also recommends Salac berry instead of leftovers, in that case you need to have HP divisible by 4 because otherwise the berry won't activate after the 3rd sub.

Oops... I seem to have *failed* in correctly remembering the effect of Salac Berry. I thought it was only when HP was under 25%. In this case, if my Espeon's HP is divisible by 16 (304, or 320), then it is obviously also divisible by four, and it's salac berry would activate after 3 subs.

Well, I see it.. "Party" themed. Drifblim can be the balloon... lol, and Wigglytuff can be the... singer?

Is there a Pokemon that makes music?

+Hariyama to the obese team.

What kind of theme team would WIgglytuff fit into? I was thinking of a fiesta team with Wigglytuff, Drifblim, and Ludicolo, but it seemed meh.

Have you considered a Pink Team? Possible teammates include Lickilicky, Milotic, Mesprit, Slowking, Mr. Mime, and of course the fearsome Blissey. There aren't many pink Pokémon that aren't normal, psychic, or water, though.

Question. For my team, I've already got a Celebi set up and ready to use Reflect. This is pretty cool, because it protects against Pursuit as well as alot of Physical attacks. However, I also have 2 bulky pokes that are weak to SRs >> Starmie comes in. I noticed one set in particular was like:

~ Surf
~ Recover
~ Reflect
~ Rapid Spin

Maybe I could run Light Screen over Reflect? It would protect against special attacks like thunder bolt and grass knot that peeps attack starmie with... also gives me both reflect and light screen support...

Does this dual screen (lol, DS) plan make any sense? =X

I think Reflect was only put on that standard because it is generally a better choice than Light Screen because of the physical orientation of the D/P metagame.

I think Light Screen would do nicely.

Can I get a link to the "Possible threat lists of OU"? Couldn't find it in the RMT section. BL/UU threat lists'll be helpful too.

should've looked a little harder ;)

UU: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Counter_Attackers_9/single/?p=29985&t=385875

the UU list is one that i refer to when making teams, though i don't know if there's a better one on smogon. make sure to keep aerodactyl, miltank, articuno, shedinja and weezing in mind, as they've been recently moved down from BL.

i don't know about a BL threat list by the way, but i personally think that you should keep every single one of them in mind when teambuilding. it's not really a balanced tier in the first place.
