Wait now what? what is the box trick now?

I believe that it's a "trick" that makes it possible to EV train a level 100 pokémon, because it's EVs adjust as it gets put in a box. Never had to use it myself, so I don't know if there's anything else to it.

If I was told correctly, a suicide lead isn't something that has to have explosion, it's something that sets up and sacrafises itself in the process to complete the set up

I've got a Modest Espeon with Psychic, Shadow Ball, and Calm Mind. I was planning to teach it Signal Beam when Platinum came, but I just found out it has Hidden Power Fire 68. Which one should I choose?

Scyther - #123 (Serious) (Female) (Swarm)
HP: 28 - 29
Att: 31
Def: 25 - 26
SpA: 23 - 24
SpD: 12 - 13
Speed: 31

Serious #123 Scyther: 28 - 29 / 31 / 25 - 26 / 23 - 24 / 12 - 13 / 31

Ok I'm chaining Scyther's and this is the best I got out of 10, should I just keep this one to start breeding or keep going for a better one? It's got perfect in Attack and Speed so...

I've been thinking about buying Pokemon Battle Revolution for the sole purpose of local, auto-leveled battles. Does PBR even have such a feature? Just like a Wi-fi battle on the DS, but with someone right next to me.

Also, does Platinum support such battles as well?

Noob Out!!

If I max my EV's I'm good to use rare candy right? I just have a ton of them and want to use them rather than sell, however they have a bad rap.

Also, for in-game battle tower use mainly, I want to make a snorlax for a challenge, and want a decent moveset.

I have heard that Body Slam, Rest, EQ, Sleep talk is preferable, however, I thought that this might work:

Curse, Body Slam, Rest, Toxic...as most battle tower trainers aren't gonna have much for cleric assist on their teams, and I dont think giving up sleep talk is that big of a deal, as Toxic will slowly wear down the opposition while I rest off the dmg.

At any rate...has anyone experimented with a set like this, and if so, am I just stupid for wanting to have a toxicurselax???

Once the EVs are done, the only bad thing about using RC is that you'll have less RC to give to other EVd Pokemon.

In other words, go nuts.

EDIT: Also, a question I've asked a few times but gotten no answers. What is with the two descriptions for the Classic Ribbon?

Should I give my Scarfd Adamant Azelf enough speed to outrun Scarfd Gengar and Espeon or not worry about it??

If the later what should I have it hit?

In my opinion, no. I think any gengar running a scarf is probably going to be running trick and thus probably be timid, so there's no way you can outrun them.

Probably have it outrun max +speed heatran, or a max speed DD salamence (if it's used...I have no idea, but probably)

lol how can numbers ever be a matter of opinion

Adamant Azelf cannot outrun Timid Gengar. You need Jolly and 216 Speed EVs.

The opinion part refers to whether he should try and outrun modest scarfed gengar, just to be clear. I said that there is no way to outrun timid gengar, if it wasn't obvious enough.
