Yeah, like latios315 said, HP Fire is good. But imo, Espeon is too frail to really pull off a Calm Mind anyway, so I'd just have Signal Beam in place of Calm Mind so you aren't walled by dark pokemon.

Considering most Choice Scarf Gengar are Timid, yes it is.
Hey i just chained 40 pokes and caught one shiny. But the next patches that appear arent shiny patches, do i just keep reseting until i see another shiny?
No, I was asking what speed my ADAMANT Azelf should hit, not a Jolly, you gave me a EV spread for a Jolly Azelf, which I do not have, therefore, not helpful...
I don't see why you wouldn't give it enough to beat scarfed Gengar tbh. Well worth the investment. Seeing as you won't exactly gain many EVs elsewhere by dropping your speed as you need to hit 316 (pre-scarf) anyway for Scarf Infernape.
What IV does your Azelf have in speed? As you implied you can beat Scarf Gengar your IV must be 22 or more IIRC; if it's a 31 or a 30 then you might as well max it to hit the speed tie or beat +1 base 100's, notably Salamence. Otherwise, you might as well just drop it to 320 to beat +1 Modest Gengar, unless you're really scared of Choice Scarf Purugly :p (which, incidentally, you need to hit 324 to beat) If you want to use Azelf in uber play as well as OU, then obviously you'll want it to hit 334.
The only good thing about the RS tower is getting the ribbons for your pokemon before you transfer them. I made sure all my ADV pokes had the lvl 100 ribbon.
Unfortunately, this came back to bite me in the ass. Since all my pokemon were lvl 100, I could not redo their EVs for D/P. Now i'm stuck with a 252atk/252spe ddmence and I really want to give it some HP, but can't. Just a warning.
Anyway, the RS tower is unbelievably easy compared to the ultragay DP tower. Just make sure you have a way to deal with lati@s and you're golden.

Yep the DP battle tower is as annoying as it gets. Mainly because they took the most popular walls from OU (Skarmory, Blissey, Forretress, Gliscor, Dusknoir etc.) and slapped Double team on them. By 3 or 4 they become impossible to hit so I always try to have a Hazer or phazer on me when I go to it,
I'm pretty sure there isn't one in D/P. The Poke app. #6 (happiness checker) tells you how friendly your Pokemon are.
There's this footstep dude outside of Pastoria city in the house, gives you a ribbon if your Pokemon has max happiness.
Is there a way to check your wifi wins/loss in D/P.
I don't know if this is a simple question and it isn't Pokemon related but here it goes.
I've been using Google Chrome as my main web browser for some weeks and I don't know why I can't edit my posts using the enhanced interface like in Firefox. I have checked my options and I'm using the "Enhaced Interface - Full WYSIWTG Editing" but it doens't seem to work in Chrome. I can only apply formating to text with the special tags and there is no button to change the editor type in the post like in Firefox.
I've posted in other forums that use vBulletin and I don't have this problem with Chrome so I suppose that the problem lies with the Smogon forum rather than the browser. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Is there a way to know how many egg's you've hatched in Diamond? I saw people telling others how many egg;s they have hatched in the Blacklist thread and i dont think they counted every single egg.
Is there a way to update this? It says ive hatched a mere 341 eggs and i know for a FACT i've hatched more. It also says i've only won 8 wifi battles when it says on my trainer card I've got 571 wins.

When you have two parents in the daycare and it says how much they like eachother, is it possible for this to have anything to do with the amount of IVs that pass down? I havent tried testing this much but to me it looks kinda like it. Or is the number of IVs passed down random?

That doesn't have anything to do with the IVs passed down. It only determines how fast the eggs are generated.
The number of IVs passed down are from 1 to 3, 3 IVs are selected at random but there is a possibility for the same IV to be chosen more than once. Sometimes it seems as if more than 3 IVs were passed but that happens because some of the IVs that were generated at random matched one of the IVs from the parents.
Read the breeding guide in the articles section of the site if you want a more detailed explanation.
