In the long run, how important is it to have CBtar outspeed Skarmory? Blah, blah, blah Roost and all that jazz, but Skarm is usually switching into Tyranitar and not the other way around, right?

Imagine a situation in which its last gameSkarmory vs TTar you want to be hitting first so that the high CH chance has at least a chance to act. I guess its not amazingly important, but at least IMO its worth it over the small amount of HP, but its just a "do you really need to be that safe?" question

Its Faraway Place, Same with the Regirock, Ice and Steel.
That would be the same location as Mew and Phione from MPR, if I remember correctly.
EDIT: Mistaken. Mew, Phione, and half of the others are from "Lovely place".

I run Fire Blast on my CBTar, which is a 2HKO but Skarmory can stall it out with Roost if it misses, so I always make sure I can outspeed and kill it.

Even if Skarm is the one switching in, CBTar still does not OHKO it. So yes, outspeeding is important.

It will also guarantee that you outspeed Vaporeon, which is more useful than you might think. You 2HKO it easily, while it does less than half to you with Surf.

^Also, if a somewhat weakened Skarm comes in on Stone Edge, the ability to KO it with a second Stone Edge before it can Roost off the damage helps a lot.

I want to raise a Scizor in Diamond, but I'm wondering if Bullet Punch is a Platinum Move Tutor move? In which case, could I just transfer Scizor over and get him to learn it?

No; it's an addition to Scizor's level-up moveset in Platinum; it learns it at Level 1, so it has to be taught to it by the Platinum Move Relearner.

In which case, could I just transfer Scizor over and get him to learn it?
Yes.

I can't download Shoddy. For some reason, my computer (Windows) can't recognize the type of file it is.

This may not warrant a simple answer, but what do I do?

You need to download the Java applet for your computer that allows you to run programs such as Shoddy Battle, as well as many online applications.

You can get the latest Java download here.

LR.

EDIT: I is fast :P.

Xilaa, it may be that you don't have a Java application installed.

http://www.java.com/en/

It's a free download, the page also include links as to what java does, etc. This should allow you to install shoddy after you run it.

Edit: LR beat me to the punch.. Because of Bullet Punch's priority. ;D

Bearzly's internet isn't working correctly so the Meta-server isn't showing up. Just go to advanced and type in the Smogon Address.

shoddybattle.smogon.com (I think?)
Port: 50000

Here's a question I've been wondering about recently...

Say you have a TR user (like Bronzong) against a Pokemon with Swift Swim (like Kingdra). Both Trick Room and Rain Dance are active. So my question is, how are the effects calculated here? Will Swift Swim double the one Pokemon's Speed first, Trick Room applies and makes Bronzong faster? Or, will the reverse happen, and Trick Room's effect is applied first and Swift Swim second, letting the other Pokemon outspeed Bronzong in the end?

I think that the former is true, and Trick Room will let Bronzong go first, but I'm not completely sure...if anyone has a definitive answer, I'd appreciate it.

You would be correct.

The Pokemon with the highest Speed normally goes first. All Trick Room does is reverse that so that the faster Pokemon goes last.

Move priority doesn't change under Trick Room, by the way. The highest-priority move of the two Pokemon in battle for the turn still goes first in Trick Room.
