I wanted to know this for my run through DP for second time- If ingame, say I Trick Choice Specs onto an opposing pokemon, do I get my Choice Specs back after the match? And does it work if the opponent isnt holding an item?

Not really linked with game but does anyone here go on WiFi with Window's Vista cause ever since i got my new PC with Window's Vista i can't use my Nintendo WiFi Connector anymore. I turn off all the firewalls but I can never get on. I don't really expect much of an awnser but I may aswell try. Some one please help me!

What a coincidence, I was thinking about buying one and looking it up right as you posted that! You're in luck, sort of.

Actually, the Wi-Fi Connector accessory will not work with Windows Vista. I remember seeing this somewhere. If you can find another computer with Windows XP, then you're good.
 
i seem to be having problems with accessing wifi on platinum, downstairs in the pokemon center the first room wont let me in, i have no platinum only forms/items in my party, is there a reason for this or is there something i have to do to get inside. i can get into the second room and GTS fine.
i dont know what the lady at the desk says since im playing the japanese version

I don't have Platinum, but maybe boot up D/P to find out what she says...? If it's in the Pokemon Center then what they're saying would be comparable....
Just a suggestion.

If you don't understand Japanese, you can always Copy + Paste the characters she says from the Hiragana and Katakana pages of Wikipedia and either have someone on here translate them for you or use something like Google's language translation software.
 
For the three Platinum Legendary birds, is it possible to soft reset for Nature / IVs? Do they act like Cresselia and Mesprit in that the Natures / IVs are set when you talk to Oak?

I understand you'll probably only be able to SR for one per adventure, but all I'm really concerned about is Zapdos anyway.
 
Cresselia and Mesprits' IV's are set when you talk to them and they run off. I don't recall that this changed in Platinum.
