Timid Bronzong

Today I randomly found a shiny Bronzor, with levitate. What annoys me is it has a timid nature, arguably the worst nature a bronzong could possess with the usual build. Are there any builds that could work decently? Perhaps a Screener, Rain Dancer, Lead/screener or maybe a special-ish sweeper? Not a lot of options to choose from, and I definately have to differ from the standard EQ/Explosion variant. Hard to pick things from the special movepool as flash cannon/charge beam/grass knot/psychic cover much of the same things, and none of them seem to do it well on this guy.

Please reply, this one's annoying.

And please don't say "find a different natured one". I kinda like this one's IV spread too (high SPA and defensive stats)

I've started taking up chaining recently, and I've come into a bit of a problem. My chain has been breaking occasionally even though it's the pokemon I've been chaining.

It's only happened a couple times, but it's annoying. Can anyone help?
Keeps happening, can't get a chain over 20 because of it :\

Sorry to break it too you but timid bronzong sucks, a sassy/relaxed bronzong with crappy IV's is still better than a timid bronzong with great IV's, if you want to be competitive get one with a different nature

What should I do with a shiny timid bronzong?

Also, is thunder's accuracy 100% in the rain, or does it never miss in the rain? (will it hit something thats double teamed, even though it's banned?)

Which Flygon moveset should I go with? Screech, Life Orb, or both? When I say both I mean a Flygon with the moveset of Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Screech, and Roost while holding a life orb. I like them all and find them all useful, but I can't decide.

The problem is in switching into someone, if you Effect Spore them, then you can't put them to sleep with Spore.

I'm very new here so sorry for the noob questions. I just need to know a couple of things about the substitue-baton pass combination.

1. Is the strength of the substitute affected by the defense of the user or the defense of the pokemon behind the substitute?

2. In the battle tower, I had a confused Drifblim use substitute and baton passed to Heatran. The next turn, it says, "Heatran snapped out of confusion". Does baton pass also pass infatuation, etc to the next pokemon? Does the status always wear off after passing?

3. If my Drifblim has Unburden + Salac Berry, then uses up the berry and baton passes, will my next pokemon receive both speed boosts or just the one from salac?

Thanks a lot!

I am not sure about the first one.

But for the second one - Baton pass passes everything. Good or Bad.
And no, the status doesn't always wear off after passing.

Third one: only the salac boost is passed.

Oh ok, thanks. I was using a Drifblim (Unburden + Salac Berry) with Substitute, Stockpile, Baton Pass, and Ominous Wind to try and pass stat boosts to Heatran or Medicham. It worked pretty well in the Elite Four and Battle Tower, and I was wondering if this moveset were viable competitively.

Defense of the substitute depends on the Pokemon behind it.

And a strategy like that requires loads of set up. In competitive play your opponent would never sit around and let you pull something like that off; and if they did, they probably have a way out of it.

When using Thunder Wave, does Magic Coat paralyze the user if it's a ground type?

Example: Dunsparce uses Magic Coat, Groudon then uses Thunder Wave.

I'm quite sure it doesn't. It just bounces the use of that move (t-wave in your example, when bouncing will not affect a ground type).

In order to get your Standard Rating on Shoddy, do you take the two numbers after Rating: and divide them by 2 or something?

If it's for the suspect test, add those two numbers together and then divide by two.

Deviation is subtracting those numbers and then dividing by 2.

Can ampharos learn heal bell in ruby, emerald, or diamond and pearl?
On some websites, it says it can. In others, it says it can't.
