Hi there,

I've been experimenting around with the Battle Factory. I'm loving it, kinda fun, getting to learn a lot of the Pokemon and such. Two of the builds I really enjoy and would like to reproduce for my regular teams (or battle tower) are these Pokemon:

Espeon with Toxic, Double Team, A way to Confuse them, and Mean Look. I love it, it's so fun.

The next one is just a regular old Jolteon sweeper.

What would be the closest to these two Pokemon I can get for competitive and battle tower usage?

Pretty sure you mean Umbreon for the first, and it's basically the only viable Pokemon that can pull that set off, though I'd argue it's not that great. The second one, I'd go for Zapdos with Thunderbolt, Heat Wave, and Hidden Power Grass/Ice. Not like Jolteon with Thunderbolt/HP Ice or Grass/Signal Beam/Shadow Ball isn't good enough.

I'm a bit confused of damage calculations, Libelldra's calculator is strange. There's calculations above the actual calculation "bar", when I add it "+weather, +Rock type, but when I plug in Tyranitar's Sand Stream boost, the calculation is different. 236 x 1.5 = 354, correct? Tyranitar's neutral Special Defense stat in sand?

Basically, my question is what's going on with this?

And I'm sort of in a rush, so if anyone could tell me what Max Special Attack +Speed Magnezone's Flash Canon vs 252 HP / 0 SPDEF Tyranitar in sand would be great, too.

Can someone make/show/find me either a defensive Glaceon moveset or a choice scarf sweeper that doesn't require hidden power?

Also, is it possible to softreset the pokemon in Mr. Backlot's garden so I can start breeding for said Eevee?

Just check the Rock-type box and put in Tyranitar's Special Defense before the boost of 236 and that will correctly factor in the Sandstorm boost. (The Sandstorm results do look a little disorganized, though.) Weather + and - is used to account for Sun and Rain.

Well, really any Bulky Water that invests highly in defense can counter MixNite, and any Water-type can counter SubPetaya Empoleon if it doesn't carry HP-Electric. I think it is safe to say that Mixpert can counter them both effectively. IIRC, Mixpert OHKOs SubPetaya Empoleon with Earthquake and OHKOs MixNite with Ice Beam. Neither of the two can hit him particularly hard, so yeah, go with Mixpert.

Well, you can invest as much into defense as you want, then Dragonite hits you with Draco Meteor. And Swampert is KOed if it switches in foolishly onto Mixnite.

Light Ball doubles Pika's Atk and SpA. The Atk boost isn't shown on the Team Builder but it is still there.

Can anyone post a link where the "RNG abuse" is explained. (If it's the article about how pokemon IV's are created on the main site, please say).

I need some help with CM Jynx;
Calm Mind
Lovley Kiss? Substitute?
Blizzard
What pairs best here?

Use Ice Beam over Blizzard and use both LK and Sub and you'll have the standard Luna set. Can't you just check the analysis?

Either Lovely Kiss or Substitute can work depending on what you want to beat. Sub lets you stand a chance versus special walls who attack with weak special attacks, such as Blissey, though you still lose to versions packing Seismic Toss due to your inability to create 101 subs. Lovely Kiss lets you sleep their first switch-in, guaranteeing you at least one Calm Mind if the thing you switch in on is slower than you (assuming Lovely Kiss hits).

As for your STAB, Blizzard is not recommended due to its low accuracy, unless you are also running Hail Support. Instead use Ice Beam, which still packs quite a punch and has greater accuracy and PP.

For the best pairing move, you can run the other of Lovely Kiss/Sub for the "Luna" set, but from the sound of things you want a coverage move. Ice is resisted by Water, Fire, Steel, and Ice Pokemon, so your coverage move should be able to hit most of those. Types that can hit Steel are Fighting, Fire, Ground, Electric, and Water. Fire fails against other Fire types and Water types, making it not a great choice. Water similarly fails against other Water types, so it too should be excluded. This leaves you with Fighting, Ground, or Electric as your coverage type. Of those, Fighting is probably the best as it can hit Ice Pokemon super effectively, no Steel Pokemon takes worse than neutral from it, and it hits common special walls like Tyranitar, Snorlax, and Blissey for Super Effective damage. Electric and Ground both also provide good coverage with Ice, Electric notably hitting Water types super effectively and Ground hitting Fire and Steel types super effectively, but Electric/Ice fails against Lanturn and Magnezone while Ice/Ground fails against Bronzong. Additionally, Jynx does not possess a Ground or Electric type move other than Hidden Power. However, her Fighting Special move (Focus Blast) possesses a terrible accuracy, so HP Fighting may be preferable anyways.

Alright, so a few questions. More or less for confirmation, but theres no way to get a camerupt to have erruption before lvl 50 correct? Considering numel can't be passed down eruption.
And what lvl does the zapdos from XD arrive at?
