Would dual roars/whirlwinds work? (use whirlwind/roar on the follow me user with one pokemon and then use whirlwind/roar on the trick room user with the other pokemon)
Wirlwind and roar always go last, so they would both swith out, but trickroom will be put up anyway.
Actually trick room has a -6 priority while roar\whirlwind has a -5 priority, so trick room goes always last.
Is Psychic really a terrible offensive typing? How come?
It's not a bad offensive type, per se, but it only gets a super effective hit on Fighting and Poison. The only OU poison type is Tentacruel(I think). And with Tyranitar everywhere, as well as those darn steel types, Psychic attacks aren't hurting a lot.
I'd be more worried about their defensive horrors if I were you though.
bleh, first of all psychic is SE on fighting poison and ghost, secondly gengar is poison type

Tomato berry always lowers by 10 evs. So it would be 245.(after the berry)I'm thinking about changing my team up a bit by lowering the speed of one of my lead pokes by like 4 pts in order to work out some "timing" issues between it and the other leader. How does a tomato berry work exactly? It has 255 EVs in speed (yeah, yeah, I know:P) If I give it 1 tomato berry will that lower it's speed EVs to 245 or 100? I'm finding conflicting opinions on the web. Some say it always lowers by 10, others say the first lowers by 100 and any afterward lower by 10.
Thanks! ^.6

You might be right, i have never used them, just remember reading it somewhere.Strange, I always thought it lowered everything above 100 to 100, then decreased 10 after that, meaning it would take 11 berries to wipe >100 EVs clean.
I'm almost certain that you're right. I know it worked that way in the 3rd Gen., but I'm not completely sure about the 4th.Strange, I always thought it lowered everything above 100 to 100, then decreased 10 after that, meaning it would take 11 berries to wipe >100 EVs clean.
Not to mention the most common OU Fighter is part Steel (Lucario); Fire/Psychic also fails against Houndoom.Psychic is considered a bad offensive typing, yes. It is resisted by the most common type in OU (Steel), as well as a fairly common type (Psychic). Additionally, Dark types are immune to it, making it one of the few types that is resisted by Steel and also has a type immune to it (the others are Normal, Ghost, and Poison, none of which are considered good attacking types besides Ghost which gets 100% coverage with Fighting). This means that it can not be paired with a single move that provides complete coverage. We can look at the five types that hit Steel to confirm this. Fighting/Psychic fails to hit other Psychic types. Water/Psychic fails to hit Latias and Starmie (both fairly common) as well as Empoleon. Electric/Psychic fails to hit Magnezone and Latias, and also only provides a Neutral hit on anything that resists Psychic (Tyranitar, almost every Steel, most Psychic types). Fire/Psychic cannot hit Tyranitar or Heatran. And Ground/Psychic has major trouble with Bronzong and Skarmory. Also, the types that Psychic hits super effectively are fairly limited. Tentacruel and Gengar are the only Poison types in OU, and there are only a few more fighting types.
Additionally, the fact that most Psychic types (alakazam, Azelf, etc) are fast and have high Special Attack means that one of the primary sets they are a candidate for is Choice. Unfortunately, any pokemon who carries Pursuit can switch in to a Choiced Psychic with impunity and guarantee a quick KO.
Defensively, Psychic is better as it resists Fighting, but many Fighting types commonly pack a Dark, Ghost, or Bug move to compensate for this. Ghost, Poison, Flying, and Bug are all better resistors of the Fighting type.
